28th Aug 2022 (4 years ago)The worst agents I have ever experienced, and I am a retired chartered surveyor with over 30 years in practice. I found them rude, disrespectful and totally incompetent. They failed to respond at all to any of the notices served on them in accordance with the term of the tenancy, I was totally ignored. When the rain came, it was obvious that the thick layers of paint hid a sorry lack of maintenance. I would not advise anyone to have any dealings with this firm in the light of this experience. They say they have a, 'Fully Managed' tenancy while the opposite is the fact.

She ensured everything ran smoothly and was always available to answer our questions and provide updates when needed. 12th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)As always Angela herself and staff are always helpful,thankyou,gone down hill,lost sale then told more or less my fault,to take the offer as they wouldnt show anyone else around during covid.Plus they wouldnt show anyone else around after the only offer was 15k less than the asking price Helen took it off market.when asked what do i want to do! Went on mkt in april,only put onto angelas site in july then only went on rightmove in AugustNow enquiring about rented and i nvr get told what houses they have to let yet told id be told by collete.just missed two now 12 th april,rang last week about parr lane my old house and walmer bridge and no one ever rung back as Collette promised
15th Apr 2026 (6 mo. ago)The process form receiving a Section 31 Notice through the post to getting an acceptable outcome is never going to be easy when the landlord and tenant involved are from the outset diametrically opposed. Cath did a great job of giving us all the options open to us and being sympathetic whilst being realistic about outcomes. I cannot thank Cath enough for guiding us along the journey and always keeping momentum up during negotiations to get closure.
15th May 2026 (24 weeks ago)I honestly can’t recommend Oliver at Christie King Estate Agents enough. Our sale was far from an easy one because of complications with other parties involved, but Oliver did everything he possibly could to keep things moving and keep us updated throughout the whole process. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble and he was always there to help whenever we needed him. We’re really grateful for all the hard work he put in. I honestly wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Christie King Estate Agents to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. They are by far the best estate agents on the Fylde Coast. Thanks again Oliver for everything, we really appreciate it.

25th Jan 2021 (5 years ago)We had an awful horrendous 13 months dealing with the owner of Ewemove Rossendale selling our home. As far as they’re concerned, after they get you a buyer that’s it for them. It’s job done. They find it an utter inconvenience if you contact them again for updates on your sale, god help you should you need any help progressing your sale after an offers been accepted as they’re simply not interested. Awful estate agent who only cares about conducting viewings. After that you’re left to fend for yourself. The owner will say all the right things to you on the phone then in reality after speaking with you will do the bare minimum to help and proved it to us. The owner lacks experience and is clueless and shouldn’t be allowed to run an estate agent. The amount of stress and extra expensive the owner caused us is inexcusable. Completely untrustworthy, incompetent, inept, unprofessional, the list goes on. Never again.

26th Sep 2026 (5 weeks ago)What can I say, such a fabulous team! They sold my property in no time. Most certainly head and shoulders above any other agents I have used. Their professionalism, communication and negotiation skills are second to none and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
13th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)? 1 Star (would give 0 if possible) Extremely poor communication and a complete waste of my time. I repeatedly contacted Kays over several weeks regarding a commercial property they were advertising for lease. Every time I called, I was told they did not yet have access to the premises and that they would contact me as soon as a viewing could be arranged. Despite numerous follow-up calls from me, nobody ever got back to me as promised. When I eventually called again for an update, I was informed that the property had already been let to someone else. If the property was attracting interest, I would have expected basic communication and professionalism. Instead, I was left chasing updates for weeks while receiving the same response over and over again, only to find out the opportunity had been given to someone else. This reflects very poorly on the service provided to prospective tenants and raises questions about how effectively properties are being marketed on behalf of landlords. I would not recommend dealing with this agency based on my experience.

3rd Feb 2022 (4 years ago)We chose Reed Rains Colne in good faith They suggested the Modern Method of Auction. which would be quick and easy It was NEITHER!. After almost 6 mths the house is now almost ready to exchange contracts .It was handed over to I Am Sold and we were obliged to accept a much lower offer and from then on Reed Rains dropped us. When we questioned this after trying to move things along we were told it was no longer their problem. They arranged a firm of Solicitors at our request but it was a not a local Solicitor it was Prosperity Law LLP in Manchester who have been nothing but trouble from day one. I have reams of correspondence from e mails but it was almost impossible to have a conversation with them Messages ignored, phone calls straight to answerphone. If this is the way Reed Rains does business then I have to say It is a disgrace.To anyone going for Moderm method of Auction I would say DONT and find another Estate Agent.
