Ben Rivett was an invaluable source of advice, both at the planning and valuation stages. The quality of his recommendations helped us readily achieve a very good sale. Natalie Howlett- Clarke handled the negotiation and completion stages with great professionalism. Her communication and responsiveness were first rate. Moreover, I really enjoyed working with Ben and Natalie for their friendliness, honesty and good humour, as well as for their high level of professional capability.

Massive thanks in particular to Eleanor for all the support during a very challenging time. I cannot express enough how fantastic she has been. Eleanor went above and beyond to support and was always on hand to follow up queries. She also went out of her way to provide recommendations to help us settle into the area and our new home, which was a wonderful personal touch. Fantastic service from really lovely people. Courtney in particular, went out of her way to push things forward for completion. Would definitely use William H Brown in the future.

They have a very professional team, who escorted me from the beginnig till the end. I viewed my flat in April and I got my keys in Agust. I would especially like to say thank Natasha Wright and her team, who coordinated my case very well.

1st Oct 2024 (9 weeks ago)Overall the agents and especially Hayley were very good. We were told that we would have an allocated person to speak to from the beginning, which didn't really happen until we were closer to selling. This was a little disappointing, but not a deal breaker. And the number of different telephone numbers we were contacted from was confusing, we never seemed to get the right one to return a missed call! We are obviously pleased with the end result and would (have already) recommended the Norfolk Agent to family and friends

Following a less positive experience with an agency that wasn't really understanding of the area or property we came to Belton Duffey following positive word of mouth, and we're glad we did. They've provided invaluable support around the listing of the property and in handling any questions we had. Everything has done with the utmost care and professionalism. We've felt not just professionally but also emotionally supported in this process by people who really care about their clients and have gone above and beyond in dealing with more difficult aspects of the selling process. The advice we've received has been considered and well reasoned, and the people in the office have been exceptionally friendly and accomodating.
2nd Nov 2024 (5 weeks ago)We were in the market quite a long time but this could have been because of the timing, summer holidays seemed to be a quiet period. Viewings picked up in Autumn. We would have liked more for our property but as we had been on the market so long it was recommended we accepted.

Over the course of the time marketing the property and negotiating the deal, the team were always informative and supportive. Laura, one of the Senior Property Specialists showed the buyers around and brokered the deal and was pleased as were the other team members when a sale was achieved. You were dealt with as individuals with a back story and not just another property on the books. I would highly recommend.

My old home was definitely sold, not just marketed, and I love that the new owners are looking forward to making new memories in it. Their dream definitely started with Big Skies Estates’ passion for the house. An unexpected surprise was Big Skies Estates’ post sale goodie bag, what a treat! 26th Sep 2024 (10 weeks ago)We chose Minors and Brady after the valuer did a good talk, which we unfortunately fell for! When the valuer suggested we market our property at between £410,000 to £425,000, which we thought was over priced and told him why. As we wanted a quickish sale we suggested that it be marketed for overs in excess of £395,000, the valuer said they would have no problems selling at this price. He said they had their own staff who would do the viewings and someone would be in contact with us to pop round and see the property so they knew what they were selling. We made it quite clear that we only wanted viewings from purchasers who were on the market after having time wasters last time we sold our property, even someone making a viewing appointment as they wanted to see our kitchen island! We said that we were going away for 3 weeks and did not want the house on the market whilst we were away so we would only be signing up with them for 8 weeks. As the valuer had told us they would have no problem selling at our suggested price then 8 weeks wouldn’t be a problem. We noticed a few days later that instead of signing us up for 8 weeks, as agreed, he had signed us up for 20 weeks, which he didn’t tell us about. However after contacting Minors and Brady they were happy to drop this to two months, as agreed before we signed up. I had plenty of updates from GetAgent but didn’t hear anything from Minors and Brady for the first few weeks. When I rang their office regarding the contract tie in date, I was told how many clicks etc our property had received and he would email the information over, which I never received. Four weeks later we had no one contact us about arranging to come round and see the property so they could see what they were selling, as we were told would happen and still not had one viewing. We had a call from the agents suggesting we drop to offers in between £375,000 and £400,000; so the price had been dropped by £50,000 from their initial suggested valuation in a month despite the valuer saying they would have no problems selling our property at the suggested price! After 5 weeks we received a call to arrange a viewing, I asked what the purchasers situation was, and he asked what I meant, when he was fully aware of what I meant. I said what is the purchasers status. I could tell I was just about to be fed a load of lies by his stuttering. He said let me get his information up on the system. After waiting, he told me where the purchaser lived and said he was on the market. I said I couldn’t do the day he suggested due to furniture being delivered but could do any other day, but pointed out as he hadn’t sold there was no rush. He said that there was a rush as the purchaser was having lots of viewings and lots of viewings booked in so it looks like he will sell over the next few days. I arranged a date a couple of days later. He also asked if I was happy to do the viewing, despite being told initially that they had dedicated staff to carry out the viewings, but as I was keen to have a viewing I agreed to do it. I was very dubious about the information I had been led to believe so checked the details on Rightmove to discover that there was not any properties for sale on the road he had given me. I emailed the manager, who I had to chase for a response, who confirmed that I had been lied to, as I suspected, the purchaser didn’t have his property on the market so he didn’t have a lot of viewings booked in, which is probably why Minors and Brady staff didn’t want to waste their time travelling to me to carry out the viewing but was quite happy for me to waste my time to carry out the valuation. Unfortunately we have not had a good experience with Minors and Brady. What was promised has never materialised and having a member of staff quite blatantly lie to us is totally unacceptable. Even after bringing this to the managers attention I have received no response, so he obviously thinks it is acceptable for members of his staff to lie! Under the circumstances I would not recommend Minor's and Brady
