25th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Have used Ascend for 4 years to manage my flat in Liverpool. During the pandemic they found poor tenants with minimal vetting, carried out no inspections (even after restrictions were lifted). After I made my own inspection I had to alert them to the problems they were missing. When the tenant left my place in an aweful state, their own agent admitted this was terrible. Finally, I received demands from debt collectors for unpaid council tax bills from a void period that the agent never passedon to me. Ascend claim they never received the 3 reminders from the council and refused to take any liability for their mismanagement. I lost £600 in fees and a significant knock to my own credit rating. A large agency that likes to charge management fees but doesn't actually manage. Stay clear - I'm sure there are better options out there!
2nd Dec 2025 (9 mo. ago)I can’t praise Warren and Stuart enough: they were amazing in helping me both sell my home and buy a new one. They are so genuine, trustworthy and efficient, not forgetting Wendy too. Excellent communication and support in a stressful process.

9th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Marian provided an outstanding and what I would say, an unbelievable service. Availability was clear, expectations were managed, fees agreed, support provided where necessary and options available for me, the customer, to decide. The main point to make about Marian and Murphy Waldron Estates, is there was open and direct communication. At no point did I think I was being "sold" a service. I was offered a service with complete transparency, no pressure, no promises, just a clear set of communication and completely honest. My faith in Estate Agents has been restored and I wouldn't blink at deciding to use Murphy Waldron if I needed an estate agent again. I cannot stress how impressed I was and would whole heartedly recommend Marian and Murphy Waldron Estates.

You could always depend on them to put your mind at ease if you had any questions . There professionalism was second to none .
18th Dec 2023 (2 years ago)From viewing a property to signing for it took a week, the team at lilac were excellent from start to finish, I was always kept up to date with how the process was going and always made to feel like a valued customer, I can't rate them highly enough, certainly deserving of the 5 stars. It was a pleasure doing business with them.

23rd Feb 2026 (6 mo. ago)? 1 Star – Completely Unacceptable Living Conditions I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this company. For five years I repeatedly reported serious repair issues that were never properly resolved. During that time, my six-year-old child was forced to live in unacceptable and unsafe conditions. The property had broken internal doors, a constantly leaking bathroom, rusted and leaking radiators, and a kitchen full of damp and mould. The issues were ongoing and left unattended despite numerous complaints. What makes this worse is that instead of addressing the disrepair, their house cleaner was posting videos on Instagram showcasing the property — yet it was still in the same poor condition I had been left to live in for seven years. Nothing meaningful had been fixed. It felt like appearance mattered more than tenant welfare. No child should have to grow up in a home with persistent leaks, mould, and broken fixtures. The lack of urgency, care, and basic responsibility shown throughout my tenancy was beyond disappointing. I would not recommend renting through them.

I repeatedly contacted Kays over several weeks regarding a commercial property they were advertising for lease. Every time I called, I was told they did not yet have access to the premises and that they would contact me as soon as a viewing could be arranged. Despite numerous follow-up calls from me, nobody ever got back to me as promised. When I eventually called again for an update, I was informed that the property had already been let to someone else. If the property was attracting interest, I would have expected basic communication and professionalism. Instead, I was left chasing updates for weeks while receiving the same response over and over again, only to find out the opportunity had been given to someone else. This reflects very poorly on the service provided to prospective tenants and raises questions about how effectively properties are being marketed on behalf of landlords. I would not recommend dealing with this agency based on my experience.
