25th May 2023 (1 year ago)Arrogance at the highest level! Was informed 24 hrs prior that my valuation had to be moved as a staff meeting was more important. Already booked the day off so fuming at the complete dis regard of this outfit. Completely unprofessional and extremely arrogant in my opinion!!!! Lesson learned!!!

Each member of the team went over and above to ensure my purchase was seamless, and kept me informed at every stage. 13th Dec 2024 (6 weeks ago)I can not begint to recommend these guys enough. Tom and George and the whole team have worked so hard to sell our house quickly and they have succeeded! They gave us the best advice, have been super approachable, made us laugh when we had a few difficulties and communicated with us very regularly. They even chased up solicitors for us ensuring everything was done quickly and efficiently. If I could stay in yeadon I'd be buying a house through them! I cannot thank them enough, what an incredible team of people.

14th Aug 2023 (1 year ago)The person who valued our house and did the sales pitch to us was great, but the person who actually dealt with our sale was terrible. She added no value to the whole process, never answered the phone or called us back, sent really unhelpful emails with no clear actions or asks in there and provided no effort to mediate our chain and keep all parties happy. It felt like she ended up working for our buyer rather than us who were her clients. She also seemed to shy away from difficult news and did everything over email rather than calling and helping to get people on side. I would not recommend. Our friends had a similar experience so this is not an isolated incident.

19th Nov 2024 (9 weeks ago)If someone could get a knighthood for selling and assisting with properties it would definitely go to Dan Shepherd! Dan has been absolutely fantastic with the sale of our property, constant communication and always being kept in the loop as soon as he finds out any info.. helping our buyer with documents he wasn’t sure on out of hours to make the process easier for both sides. We’re on the final push now with selling our property and I honestly don’t think we could have done it without Dan and would not have gotten a better anywhere else. Thank you Dan

Alex has a friendly, approachable and very professional manner and was instrumental in keeping the process moving in what was not the most straightforward of sales. Alex kept me fully informed throughout the process, even continuing to keep me updated while he was ill with Covid, which was definitely beyond the call of duty!

Incredibly efficient, communication excellent, prompt replies and assisted throughout the process of buying the property. Highly recommend and wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

19th Jan 2022 (3 years ago)Just completed on a property purchase in Ilkley and can’t thank Dale Edison enough for their determination to get the sale over the line. My case was long and complicated mostly due to my own circumstances but Molly was always so patient, considerate and efficient in moving us forward with each step and keeping everyone updated. At some point she was the only person who was responding to my emails and kept me in the loop with what was happening during the long and quite daunting process. Really felt very well cared for through the process and was nice to have a thoughtful and reassuring person on the other side to guide me. Huge thanks Molly and all.

It was a bit of a battle throughout the whole process as dealing with leasehold properties isn’t straight forward at the moment but they stuck with it and got the job done! 31st Jul 2024 (25 weeks ago)Our overall experience with Bettermove is one of disappointment. They sold a model whereby they would market our property to their pool of investors. Essentially they put our house on Rightmove for a slightly higher price then they said they would pay us and left it there. I had to chase for updates and when they responded it was to say that their investors thought the price was an issue! So why didnt you speak to us about that and say what we thought to reducing. I dont actually think they've got investors, just people who want a cash purchase in certain areas. Fortunately we didn't pay Bettermove any money for their services and we ended the contract as soon as we could

Their expertise and hard work throughout the process was invaluble. If you are looking to sell your home why settle for anyone less than the very best? Enfield in Burley in Wharfedale are without doubt the very, very best estate agents. We have loved dealing with Andrew and Erin. We cannot recommend them highly enough!
