Meant to leave this review back in Feb. Purchased a flat in High St, Ramsgate and staff were very helpful. Needed to remortgage my paid off property in London for a very small amount, to finance the outright purchase of flat. I hit some issues with mortgage since I had been self employed for some 15 years and had done all the company accounts myself. This estate agent referred me to a specialist mortgage advisor who gave me some good advise in connection with mortgage application, which was successful.
This company are only interested in signing you up as sole agent after that there is absolutely no communication & no marketing.
I am totally dissatisfied, don't sign with them unless you have months to waste.
Thankfully our contract has come to an end and I can now move on to another Estate Agent with more business integrity!
Being a corporate firm, naturally as Landlords we were worried that we wouldn't get the personal touch. I am so happy to be able to say that i was wrong, Rachel has dealt with us through the process. Her tenacity in finding the right tenant for our property has to be acknowledged, well done Rachel and well done Your Move. 1st class service.
I would strongly recommend anyone to stay away from this estate agent.
I felt extremely judged the moment I walked in, staff are not welcoming at all but sarcastic. They were quick to give me a funny look when I had mentioned my age and when my partner had mentioned his occupation. I was attempting to find my first possible place to move out however the service we as offered was revolting. We were not told (especially me finding my first letting for the first time) how the referencing system to work and our other options. I felt very lost in this process and didn't fully understand the process, what was going to happen and what could. Never felt so uncomfortable and this isn't something anyone should have to feel when *looking to invest into a property for the first time.
I think that, should Maddie and Kate decide to do it, they’d walk across oceans no problem at all. Backstory is: I asked Maddie to do a simple thing, but something I’ve found to be beyond the capability of the estate agents of my experience – please find my tenants a new rental, and please treat my tenants with dignity and respect. Start to finish it took Maddie 30 days. There were hiccups – new landlady changed her mind a week before move date, for instance. That’s where Kate stepped in and waved some sort of estate agents’ magic wand, landlady changed her mind back to where it should’ve been and tenants have a new home. Kate and Maddie both were always a pleasure to deal with, taking a joined-up approach to sorting out the hiccups and keeping me informed at every stage. Happy days. Watch this space for the continuing tale of my rental property!!! Hint: there’s a sale involved and yes, Parkland Estates have been asked to handle it for me.
Do not use this estate agent. They do not give a damn. Found whole rental experience very very stressful. Very nice people until you sign on dotted line........ They are devoid of the truth!! Never in my whole life have I experienced such appalling customer service, professionalism or credibility. My dealing with Parklands has been horrendous!! Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
