they over valued our property to get our business and then a few weeks in said they think we should drop it by £40,000 . took time of work to have matter port done and it was never used , and there was also no floorpan so had people view who said they did not like the layout . Had to chase them for feed back . so in the 20 weeks we were with them we had four viewings .... Read more

We’ve had a number of different experiences with Miles and Barr and we wanted to comment on two individuals who have been especially helpful during our interactions. Judith at the Ramsgate branch showed us round a couple of homes and we loved her energy, her knowledge of the area and her willingness to offer extra support, etc. She has been one of the best we have worked with and we would recommend her. In another branch(Westgate) we have spoken to a woman called Charlotte - she again showed real interest in our needs, and went out of her way to help, etc.... Read more

Helped with the sale of the house and helped negotiation. Pretty pushy before I listed with them, this was for the best but stressful. Excellent house photos and virtual tour. They only did one viewing for me, I did two myself. House was over priced but they advertised that is less it for less and it didn’t take long to get a buyer. Rarely hear from the same person twice. I would recommend using solicitors directly instead of using their Lifetime Legal service.... Read more

We have to produce an answer on the basis of the COVID pandemic. On that basis we showed our customers round, we had to answer ourselves and we didn’t get the service we would expect if it wasn’t a pandemic. The after sales service was what only can be described as productive but I cannot answer if it wasn’t this current situation. The after sales team were exceptionally enthusiastic. The sales focus was maybe beyond customer focus. We sold our properties but I cannot answer beyond that . Thanks... Read more

They were very nice people but did not target their marketing at the specific market for our property - a bungalow. Consequently they failed to sell it in 20 weeks. Our second choice, Wards, were much more proactive and sold it within three weeks.... Read more
