   I arranged a viewing for the second of September and was asked to provide 3 months of bank statements and payslips, which I did straight away. The agent then asked me to pay a deposit, which I also paid. I was told I’d hear back once the landlord confirmed. Days passed with no updates. When I chased, the agent claimed he had emailed me, but no email ever arrived (even though I had received all his previous emails without issue). After further follow-ups, he admitted he may have sent it to the wrong person. Eventually, I was told there were “issues with the landlord” because the previous tenant hadn’t ended their contract and wanted to move back in. The only response offered was to refund my deposit no apology, no accountability, no alternative property. I got my money back, but the complete lack of professionalism and communication wasted 15 days of my time. Terry, if you are reading this, please understand how unacceptable this experience was.    Robinson Marsh initially proposed £748 of deposit deductions two months after we moved out after loads of chasing. We had to go through deposits protection scheme ‘MyDeposits’ who had 2 star reviews for always siding with agencies. Even with the biased protection scheme they lowered the deductions to £295 (saving us £453) despite not reviewing 90% of our evidence properly. They solely used the check-out inventory as evidence despite our entire argument being we submitted extra photos of stained carpets & other damages at check in which never got included. The agency deliberately used a different check-out company to the one who did the check-in and so when they did their check-out report they had none of our additional photos & check-in evidence.) Other problems included: - Agency illegally trying to kick us out with one month notice despite the contract saying two months had to be given. They eventually backtracked on this. - Agency not fixing any of the problems we asked them to fix in at check-in including blocked drains which they then went on to try and charge us for at check-out despite us putting up with one working sink all year. - Zero communication once moving out. Ignoring hundreds of calls and emails asking about our deposit. - Illegally the agency never actually put our deposit in the protection scheme and had to transfer them the money only post us moving out with lots of chasing.... We had a very complicated purchase during which Sara communicated with solicitors, other estate agents, vendors living abroad, and our purchasers to make everything happen with a great deal of tact and common sense.    DO NOT RENT with Saville’s - YOU WILL REGRET IT!! They haven’t cleaned the building in MONTHS, dirt and mould everywhere. And they don’t dispose of bins until the room is a health hazard - and even then they don’t want to do it. No point contacting them they are all completely ignorant. Go straight to Ombudsman and Health and Safety executive, they should be fined for causing a health and safety risk.... Read more

    ReMax Caning town property sale team has totally disappointed us in every step of 6 weeks period of sale of our house and wasted our time. They made a good first meeting impression, compare to other 6 estate agents, which swayed us to go with them but from there it was total disaster. The listed cost of property was not discussed and advised properly, they agreed with our “wishful” house price to get us sign up with them, rather than advise against current market situation. The listing of our property has been unprofessional, copied twice with different prices and unmanaged even after countless requests. The availability of the sale team was getting worse every week up to the moment where weren’t able to reach anyone in four working days. We had very little or no feedback from them on any viewings of our property. Compare to our second chosen estate agents who were complete opposite on every step of successful house sale ReMax was terrible choice and I would recommend everyone with hope of smooth and quick property sale to AVOID ReMax estate agents altogether!!...
