12th May 2026 (13 days ago)Things moved quickly. The EPC, floor plan and photos were done on the Monday, it was on the market on Thursday and 10 days later I had accepted an offer. It was a little less that I had hoped but the main thing for me was quick sale, especially to someone with no chain.

The property was handed to us in a great condition. Ines and Sean have been really helpful in communication and checking in between us and the sellers. We are really happy with this purchase.

Sheetal Suri did the initial valuation and was very polite and informative about the market and how shaw and co would handle the process if we did choose them. Having met a few other estate agents I was convinced that this firm would be the best to go with. We landed an offer within a couple of viewings and from offer accepted to completion Jindra Lall was at hand. She was always assisting us and enabled us the close the transaction quickly. We are really pleased with our whole experience of dealing with shaw and co and would not hesitate to recommend them for any sales.

The service and speed to market the property was fast and efficient. within days everything was managed ,certificates. Inspections etc. I had to do virtually nothing. Within 2 weeks contracts with a suitable tenant was ready. Thanks to the agent who handled everything so professionally. 19th May 2026 (6 days ago)Disappointing experience overall. After vacating the property, I had to repeatedly chase the agent Kat and Laura regarding my deposit, and no proper negotiation or supporting invoices were provided before the dispute was sent to DPS. I did well to take my pictures and keep the records of my move out . Communication was poor throughout. Despite always paying rent on time, there was pressure to increase the rent by an unreasonable amount after one year. Maintenance was not handled directly by the agency — they simply passed my details to contractors, and repairs could sometimes take over a week depending on contractor availability. Would not recommend based on my experience.

She was incredibly helpful from start to finish, always responding to my queries quickly and keeping me informed every step of the way. What really stood out was how proactive she was—she consistently chased things up and made sure everything moved forward efficiently, which made the whole process much less stressful for me. I truly appreciated her professionalism, responsiveness, and dedication. I would highly recommend her to anyone going through a property purchase.

We’re do I start probably the best in the uk definitely the best in Loughton and surrounding areas, my two daughters bought there first home with them from the word go Mattew one of the ceo made them feel so comfortable as this could be a difficult time for first time buyers he actually took a lot off my shoulders , he guided them negotiated the price and secured the property for them , he advised them through out the sale he didn’t just stop at securing the sale , it was a very hard and difficult sale due to people in the chain but with all his hard work and effort he got there at the end , Aaron who is a partner there got the girls a mortgage through there in house brokers then he got his in house solicitors Avrillo to complete the sale phoning on a daily basis making sure everything went through swiftly and smoothly as possible he literally took all the weight off the girls shoulders and held there hand all the way through which estate agents company do that well this is the first I came across and I’ve had a few properties under my belt , they are definitely a cut above the rest , the whole team there work so closely with you ,and are so friendly and professional you would think it’s a family business . If your thinking to buy through them go for it as your aware buying a house is so stressful but presidential estate will take over all the stress till the day they hand over the keys to you , 10/10 all round definitely will be using them again and recommend anyone buying try them first you will not be disappointed… many thanks matt and Aaron you guys are true legends.. best in the game .!
