I have used Antony Roberts (Kew) for the letting and management of my house for the past couple of years, they have always been really honest, straight talking and pleasant to deal with, unlike other agents I have dealt with over the years.
I cant recommend Hanya and her team highly enough.
Extremely helpful and pleasant staff. You are always welcomed with a smile when visiting the Kew Lettings office.
As to their ability at finding excellent tenants and providing a market valuation, market conditions their service is second to none.

We first met Andrew the branch director who came across very approachable and pragmatic, with a clear strategy on the sale of our home. Once we appointed Martin Flashman, they were straight on the case and organised multiple viewings overt the first few weeks after the property went live. They kept us informed on all the viewings and gave us feedback on these. As a team they knew exactly what type of buyer would likely purchase the property and had a clear eye on this to try and ensure we could get then through the door. In a very slow market we managed to get the sale agreed in just a few weeks. We could not ask for more. After the sale was agreed, they continued the same level of professionalism until completion. At a time when other local friends are generally getting fed up with local estate agents when trying to sell their house, by either being told to constantly readjust their price point, or not being proactive enough when they have agreed to an agency and almost all o f them pulling their property off the market, Martin Flashman were able to secure us a swift deal to allow us to move onto the next chapter of our lives! We would recommend them to anyone wishing to sell their property in the local area.
My wife and I met Darrell at a property in Walton-on-Thames yesterday and I just want to say what a fantastic job he did.
We have looked at quite a few other properties with other companies and the level of professionalism and knowledge was unmatched.
It's not often I have time to write positive reviews like this but it was a breath of fresh air to have a sales representative have full knowledge and understanding of the property.
We were actually recommended to work with your company so you must be doing something right.
After listing a property with Martin Flashman, who had tied me into a 6-MONTH contract, I found it to be a very disappointing service. After 2-months on the market they got me an offer of £200k. I told them that was so insulting that it didn't deserve a reply, and when I spoke to Martin Flashman to ask why they would encourage such a low offer, his reply was that I can go and list it with someone else if I want to, but he has a 6-month contract and if I sell it through someone else, I'll be paying 2 estate agents fees. I waited for that contract to expire before I sold the house in Feb, 2010 through Gascoigne & Pees and they found me a buyer who met the full asking price of £250k within 2-weeks!
I had bought through Martin Flashman before and I generally value the idea of dealing with small businesses because I appreciate being able to speak directly to the boss. However, these are not the sort of folks I'd advise selling through, not if you want either a fair price, or a timely transaction. I can only speak for myself, but I will never sell through MF again, and I can't say I found Mr Flashman to be the sort of person I'd want to be dealing with ever again.
We have enjoyed a friendly, professional and responsive service from start to finish with Will, Tom and the team at Gregory Brown's Staines branch. We, in the end, had a number of complicating factors to throw at them (!) - not least of which was our tight deadline owing to a new job start date far outside the area - but nothing fazed them and they have been very supportive and pro-active in ensuring that our sale progressed as quickly as possible, regularly chasing solicitors on our behalf and pursuing matters to enable us to make important decisions about how to proceed when we found ourselves in the position of having to withdraw from our purchase just 2-3 weeks before Christmas. We would gladly recommend their honest, straight-talking approach and effective sales strategy to anyone looking to sell their property.
Appalling management of property, had several tenants over the years but each time the agent never pursued damage or cleaning of property - terrible service, do not recommend, find a tend by yourself and don't pay them the money as you are flushing it down the drain. They don't take tenants to arbitration and they don't withhold deposit for damage/cleaning.
We highly recommend using Laurels, the service has been excellent and we wouldn't hesitate in using them for future purchases/lettings. Rob, Beth, Jack and Charles have been a pleasure to do business with and have always been at the end of the phone when needed, thanks for everything!!
A thoroughly stressful and unpleasant experience using Laurels. Rob at Laurels repeatedly let us down whilst marketing our property, Was unresponsive, often not responding to calls or emails. We have some suspicions of being misled or worse, lied to, regarding offers received on our property. I should stress these are suspicions at this stage and investigations into this are ongoing. In our opinion, the poor service from Rob at Laurels cost us a perfect home to move into and almost lost the seller of this home thousands of pounds through loss of a deposit. My personal recommendation would be to save yourself the stress and hassle and go with agents with a long track record of excellent customer service. In Epsom, Cairds are a much better agent in my opinion and charge the same fees as Laurels, or Greenfields in the Surbiton area. Please don’t be misled by the notion that Laurels are much cheaper than well established High Street Agents are this certainly wasn’t the case in my experience. My advice, avoid.
We were very happy with the service and can honestly say that they went above and beyond on our sale and purchase which I truly believe would not have completed without their efforts. I would highly recommend them.
WORST service from an agency. We have a back log of over 70 emails in the short time we took tenancy...about 50 of those within the first three months...all about maintenance issues that were/are ignored, forgotten about, presumable deemed as unimportant, etc. We constantly need to repeat information, complaints, etc., and why we were charged the ridiculous amount of agency fees is beyond comprehension and an absolute mystery. Will NEVER use any Eddison White Agency again. Highly recommend that anyone with a full time job, adult expectations of a paid service and no time to constantly repeat information in order to get anything repaired STAY CLEAR!
