I would not recommend Eafield & Maple based on my experience. Communication was consistently poor throughout our tenancy. Simple queries often took repeated follow-ups, and responses were frequently delayed. The most frustrating example was the repair to our windows, which took almost two years to be resolved despite us raising the issue on numerous occasions. The same pattern continued after we moved out. The handling of our deposit has been unnecessarily slow, with very little communication or transparency regarding the process. Chasing for updates became the norm rather than the exception. Overall, the lack of communication, prolonged delays, and poor customer service made what should have been a straightforward tenancy far more stressful than it needed to be. I hope they improve their communication and responsiveness in the future, as no tenant should have to spend so much time chasing basic updates.... Read more

A thank you just doesnt seem enough! We have recently sold our home with Property Shop Accrington and they are beyond amazing! We had a negative time with the previous agents and things just changed massively when we moved to Property Shop. From valuation, to all the viewings and the amazing customer service provided by Beth. We were always kept updated and i genuinely felt Beth wanted the best for us, she was always available to answer questions and always kept us in the loop, she is a real trooper and so friendly & polite. I rarely leave negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience with this letting agency was extremely disappointing. Throughout my tenancy, communication was often unprofessional and intimidating rather than helpful. Instead of treating tenants with respect, I frequently felt pressured and dismissed whenever I raised concerns. I was served notice to leave the property with the explanation that the landlord wanted to take it back. However, shortly afterwards, I found the same property being advertised for rent again at the same price. This left me feeling that I had not been given the real reason for ending my tenancy. The return of my deposit was also handled very poorly. It took more than 60 days to receive my deposit back, with the agency repeatedly stating that the landlord was holding it. As the managing agency, I expected them to resolve this much more efficiently. They also proposed deductions for cleaning, despite the fact that I had professionally cleaned the property, spent additional money repainting parts of the house, and left it in excellent condition. When I asked for photographs or any evidence to justify the deductions, none was provided. As an international tenant whose first language is not English, I often felt that my concerns were not taken seriously and that I was at a disadvantage during discussions. Overall, I found this to be one of the least professional letting agencies I have dealt with. I believe good letting agencies should communicate honestly, treat tenants fairly, and support both landlords and tenants in a transparent and professional manner.
