I decided to sell my flat with Hamptons in Teddington. They over valed my property it’s a second home , I reduced it dramatically and the offers came in . Having finally agreed a good offer I asked them to do sufficient investigation into their funds to buy and the level of borrowing. They were hopeless on this and after a month into solicitors etc . My fears came through and my sale fell through. I then put it up for rental and it was gone in three days even though I am very specific about my tenant profile . They even paid me 6 months up. front as I had two other parties prepared to do the same . My property is in A list location and premium.

Max was a surprisingly easy estate agent to work with. Quite atypical compared the usual stereotype for people in this job because he has a laidback and calm yet knowledgeable personality that made the process of buying our first home less stressful. He also didn't pressurise us to buy the property either, he let us properly think and double check everything, until we felt comfortable to put in an offer. On top on that, he was very helpful, honest and speedy at answering any query we had.

On the basis of our experience selling our home, we thoroughly recommend Hamptons International, Teddington Branch. How they (our agent) presented themselves and our property was crucial to us. Mark Thompson convinced us that he and his team were the natural choice. It proved to be the right decision. From the launch through to completion we always felt that we were listened to. Josh Dawson dealt with all aspects of the sale and we felt that he represented us and our home in a first class manner. His communication with us was terrific, giving intelligent feedback on a regular basis. When we had need to contact the office we were treated in a warm and friendly manner and any concerns (we might have had) were thoughtfully dealt with.

We had an awful experience renting through Hamptons, I'm so glad to finally move out of their property and become a home owner and not deal with letting agents again!. With 2 x rent rises which were not in line with the area at all and the constant checking up on you living in the property and to top it off It took nearly 6 weeks to get our deposit back after the case was taken to TDS we finally got our deposit back in full as we were in the right.
The property managers are awful and rude at head office not to mention useless and will not solve your property issues in good time.
The lettings manager Shona in the Teddington office needs some customer service training , whilst the letting agents seem all very friendly when your looking to rent, once you're in and wanting to move out 18 months later it's a different story, they could not care less about you as tenants and are looking to make the new tenants satisfied rather than you. The last 8 weeks of living in the property is just awful, your privacy is invaded with constant viewings and they will do their best to hang on to your deposit for as long as they can, they are not impartial they are all for their landlords. Thank god for TDS otherwise I cant imagine how many people would loose they're money renting through this company.

I was really impressed by the professionalism of Hamptons and I can't recommend them highly enough. They gave us practical sound advice all the way through the process, kept us updated with what was happening and went out of their way to be helpful. Selling the house was not straightforward because of issues lower down the chain (with other estate agents) but Honey Starling was absolutely relentless and always on the case on our behalf! As first time buyers, we were unsure about the process of buying a house but Tom Headden has been fantastic throughout the whole process- especially when we discovered that a house further up the chain was caught in probate which delayed exchange. Tom was an absolute star, he kept in touch with all parties in the chain to get updates and finally to agree exchange/ completion dates with some difficult people higher in the chain. He answered all the queries we had and kept us updated throughout. Prior to buying a house, I never understood the value an estate agent would add but I can honestly say we would have been lost without Tom. Top-class service, neither pushy nor too complacent - we sold and bought through Hamptons in Teddington - the process dragged on well beyond when most would have given up (not their fault, other circumstances), and yet they quietly persevered and kept in touch with both us as sellers and the people we were buying from (and those buying from us) - towards the later stages prior to exchange, they were on the case, chasing loose ends and making sure everyone was moving forwards, though even then, a major last-minute intervention was required in order to get he bottom of the chain unstuck, and they pulled it off without stressing out everyone else in the process. We always got the impression they were being as honest and open as they could be through the process and appreciated the advice they gave us...they were always responsive and a pleasure to deal with.

We found a lovely property with Hamptons and their efficiency and fantastic customer service was so great we decided to sell our flat with them too - they sold our flat within 2 weeks of being on the market and we got the asking price. We have just exchanged after around only 6 weeks of all offers being accepted. The team are very helpful and they kept us in the loop at all stages. Both Honey and Tom were amazing and after having a bad experience on the purchase of our flat last time with another company, what started as a process we were dreading turned out to be a very exciting and pleasant experience.

I was really pleased with the overall service I received from Richard at Hamptons through a complicated and long sale process (all my fault!).
Having dealt with Dexters beforehand, who consistently attempted to pressurize me to lower my asking price for a quick sale, Hampton's did not adopt these tactics and offered great advice on where to position my apartment on the market. This paid off and I was happy with the sale price.
I highly recommend using Hampton's estate agents.

Daniel Carey was a real pleasure to deal with! I can’t recommend him & Hamptons branch in Teddington highly enough as he made what seemed like a complicated process to run smoothly and efficiently.
I initially contacted Daniel about another property and explained that I wasn’t looking to rent immediately but was interested in hearing about similar properties in the future. I outlined what I wanted from an ideal ‘home’, and to my amazement, Daniel and his colleague Hafeez sent me a listing of a property I immediately fell in love with (there was no time wasting with Hamptons; they listened to my specific requirements and provided exactly what I was looking for the first time round!). Daniel was incredibly accommodating to offer a virtual tour of the house and its neighbourhood (I couldn't personally view it as I was away) and took a lot of initiative showing me surrounding areas and potential places of interest for the whole family.
