11th Dec 2023 (23 weeks ago)John was great to deal with throughout the process apart from being let down with 2 days notice from moving into property leaving me disappointed and left to sort out returning a sofa, bed and wardrobes at expense to myself so close to Christmas. Highly unprofessional giving me 2 days notice via email that the property was no longer to be let and to let them know bank details to return deposit. Very dissatisfied with service led to believe the property was mine…

Once he had rapidly identified our buyers through his network, the process moved at pace and he kept us updated throughout. From the beginning, Joe made us feel like our transaction was a priority, and we felt he went above and beyond on our behalf as he led us through the process. 18th Mar 2024 (9 weeks ago)For the sake of anonymity I won’t mention any names… The agent arrived late and didn’t notify me until 15 mins after the schedule time to let me know they will be a further 15-20 mins. They confirmed viewings for two properties and then only told us one was under offer when eventually showing up and claimed they notified us and that the email confirmation would reflect this… which it didn’t as it said we had two viewings. Then they told my wife to just forget about it rather rudely when she respectfully expressed her disappointment. They then accused me of not being serious when giving a genuine offer and proceeded to lecture me on the phone without giving me a proper chance to speak. I had to respectfully interrupt them to get a word in. It’s a shame really we have been looking for properties for over a year now and this was the first time we were exposed to this level of inconsideration.

17th Jan 2022 (2 years ago)What a different way to sell a home, with supportive, gentle and trustworthy people. We’d been mulling over the idea of relocating out of London for years and even discussed putting our home on the market with Unique previously. What we like is that there is no big sales pitch, no pressure to sell, just listening and responding. But more importantly, keeping both our buyers and us calm, communicative and friendly throughout the sale, so it felt as smooth as it could possibly be. We’re not planning to do move again any time soon, but we’d definitely use Unique if we were.

1st May 2024 (17 days ago)Purchased a property with a vendor I knew but through lanes, it was not the easiest purchase some of which came to the vendor, however Lanes made it SO MUCH easier and helped hugley push the purchase through and always at the other end of the phone for me! Would definitely recommend!

I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. We went ahead with Big Black Hen and there suggestions and hey presto, our house sold. Ive since recommend Big Black Hen to my friends and family. Great service
11th Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Fantastic experience with Jacqui. If you are looking for a more personal experience then look no further. From valuation to completion Jacqui was all over it! She did a lot of the chasing and calming of sellers and vendors in the chain. She uses a professional photographer which was one of the things I loved, as I've seen some truly awful listings. She managed the open day and offers promptly and got me a buyer who actually saw it through to the end. Always there for a catch up or update. Unlike some of the other chains, she never sold my data to removal companies etc and I always felt she was looking out for my best interests, not just the commission, which by the way was also the lowest quote I got, as some of the others quoted but never mentioned that it excludes VAT. An easy 5 stars and I've recommended to friends and family.

I would 100 % recommend Westwood Leber as my experience was positive, with great communication throughout the whole process.

Any questions that I had have been promptly dealt with. I was able to move in to my new place reasonably quickly. I have also been contacted by few other agents at VIA Properties and with confidence can recommend these estate agents to others.

JR Ripley showed empathy , kept us updated with market trends and realistic providing market evidence so that we were in a position to make informed decisions. JR team were a pleasure to work with in very difficult times.

5th Oct 2022 (1 year ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.

(18 reviews)12th Sep 2022 (1 year ago)My brother had used Reynolds Salter on a previous occasion, so when we were selling our late mother's property under probate, we called David Reynolds to value the property and suggest a marketing plan, along with two other agents. David suggested a guide price valuation, followed by an open day for viewings, as he felt this would generate the best offers; we decided to go with them as sole agent. In the end we had 14 viewings over two open days and 6 offers above the guide price. We accepted the best offer with the shortest chain rather than the top offer, and this meant the sale was completed quickly and easily. I would recommend Reynolds Salter to anyone as highly professional advisors with a keen sense of the state of the market, and their experience in positioning our property was perfect.
