8th May 2021 (5 years ago)We had a home buyers survey carried out by Jowett's and I'd struggle to recommend them. The survey missed several fairly obvious issues, and when I asked for further information on how to improve the energy efficiency of the property as this was commented on in the report I was given very generic advice which was totally non-specific to the property. Rather disappointing.

7th Nov 2019 (6 years ago)Hogans would not do repairs in the property I was living in so I had to move they also had me redecorate the house from top to bottom as I got down to the last room I came off the ladder and fractured my ankle evan then they wanted me to finish the decoration evan tho I had painted 3 of the rooms on more than one occasion due to damp and mold they had also left me over Christmas holidays with no hot water or heating

26th Feb 2025 (1 year ago)The original estimate was £180k. I moved to a modern auction on their recommendation with an asking price of £120k after no interest. There was not interest at £120k and currently I'm selling the property privately at £95k.

I have had a few delays in responses to maintenance requests, but they always come through eventually. I think they are an excellent team and are concerned about their clients.

However, if you have an understanding and diligent agent you will find the stress of selling will ease a considerable amount. 22nd Jul 2024 (1 year ago)I have dealt with thomlinsons for nearly 13 years and have always found the staff to be friendly if I had any issues they were dealt with as soon as they could I have mostly dealt with Jane Bruce at wetherby what a lovely lady Jane is my emails and calls were always replied to as soon as possible I have not ever not had a response Jane is knowledgeable on all aspects of housing matters and is a kind caring lady I would not hesitate to use thomlinsons again
