Not often another agent will speak highly of another, but I just have to say in 24 years of being an estate agent I have never dealt with such a lovely team as James and Matthew. They are not just the best estate agents in what they do but they have humility that is second to none. They deal with people in such a caring, kind way which has got lost over the years in estate agency.

I have absolutely no hestitation in recommending ADM for selling a house. I came to them in January this year to sell my late father's house after a horrendous year with another local estate agent (TB) where we had numerous set backs, including 'buyers' with no funds, price drops and general time wasting.
I approached ADM and had Dario do the initial valuation which was aligned with what I thought it would be. They marketed the property and I have to say their photos were much clearer than the original agents and included a detailed floor plan. Within two weeks we had a full asking price offer which was £15k above what the previous agent had managed even with all the property instability with mortgage rates and price drops over the year.
Most of my dealings were with Matt who kept me informed, reassured me when I got nervous due to past experience and the sale was very easy and straighforward.
These agents are friendly, professional and efficient. From start of marketing to completion it took less than three months. Thank you to everyone at ADM Orpington. I wish you all the best for the future. DC

What a fabulous service we received when selling my elderly parents bungalow in Orpington. They were very mindful that relocating my elderly parents to Suffolk was stressful for them. It seems a shame to post a 1 star review because clearly people have been happy with this Estate Agent but sadly this is the second time I've interacted with this particular branch and I've not been happy. We should be able to cancel a viewing without even having to divulge why, especially when we only booked it that morning. Surely its better to cancel with 24 hours notice than not turn up? I shouldn't then have to explain where my daughter goes to school when telling them the property was further away than we anticipated and this would not be ideal for our disabled daughter who relies on transport to get to school. Adding potentially 2 hours to her day. Why would you need to tell the vendor this? You do not need to know where she goes to school. We drove to the property to work out timings and it was not appropriate. That reason is good enough.

We have been happy with the service received from ADM and have been in contact with Rebecca who has been very helpful in keeping us updated. Other than the initial hiccup where we were not aware of the service charge that was attached to the freehold before we put in our offer and mortgage application, the rest of the process was very well handled by ADM. Our purchase was not an easy one, and took 7 months with lots of legal issues associated with the service charge and nature of the sale. However ADM and Rebecca have kept us informed throughout the process and chased both the seller and our solicitors to push through the sale. There were multiple times where we thought the sell would fall through. We received more update and advice from ADM than from our solicitors!! Would recommend Rebecca and ADM to other potential buyers. 4.5/5.

The team at Alan de Maid were just brilliant a real 5 star service. We invited several agents along to value our late Mother's property and Diane was by far the best agent we saw that day. Her valuation was higher than the others but she was true to her word and achieved the price she said she would in a record time. From start to finish the process took just over 8 weeks. Rebecca progressed the sale and provided us with regular updates. The best estate agents I’ve ever dealt with. James is a credit to the profession and a real asset to ADM.
We sold our property via ADM and were purchasing through Purplebricks. Our sale was straightforward but we had a nightmare with our vendor, their agent and incompetent solicitor and thought the whole chain was going to collapse.
James went above and beyond to get our purchase over the line, even though it wasn’t even with ADM! We were pulling our hair out and asked him to apologise to our buyers for the delay when he offered his help. We accepted, frankly without much hope, but he was unbelievably helpful. He leveraged contacts, followed up and pushed on our enquiries, prompted solicitors.. the list goes on! Plus he kept our buyers happy so we didn’t lose our sale.
He is an absolutely brilliant agent and we will always be grateful to him for all his support in purchasing our dream house. Thank you so much James!

Allan De Maid (Orpington) have been absolutely brilliant in sale of my property in these challenging times. There were many hurdles along the way due to COVID-19 e.g slow response from banks, solicitors and surveys. James kept us informed and assured that sale will go through and glad it went all fine.
It took 4.5 months in total.

We had tried to sell our house several times, having very poor assistance from different estate agents we had used.
So I'm sure you can imagine our nervousness at meeting another agent. Thankfully from the first time we met with Dario Bartol, the representative of Alan De Maid, we felt we had found the best estate agent to sell our property for us.
The sale details were honest and well presented, indeed within a week we had four viewings.
Our sale had great complexity and difficulties which led us at one time to consider dropping out as lack of frequency of information from solicitors caused great personal distress/stress.
What stopped us from doing so was the persistent, dogged and relentless representations Dario and his colleagues made on our behalf to solicitors, other estate agents and a trust acting for the family purchasing our home.
We cannot praise them enough, they went far beyond the remits of selling our home, they showed they cared for our wellbeing, through a very stressful journey.
