Kevin and Shardarae were fantastic. I was based overseas while selling which sometimes makes a normally stressful time a bit more difficult dealing with different time zones etc, However, throughout the entire process, I was fully supported, particularly by Shardarae, who dealt with my queries immediately and was quick to offer extra help whenever I needed it - frequently! Around 7pm near Streatham Station, I witnessed extremely dangerous driving from one of this company’s branded Mini cars. The driver’s conduct was shockingly reckless—swerving, speeding, almost hitting another car and showing no regard for other road users.
This behaviour reflects extremely poorly on the business and raises serious questions about the standards they expect from their staff when representing the company in public.
No one should be allowed to drive in such an irresponsible and dangerous way.

Excellent service ????. The Agent lady Miss Shardarae was friendly and very understanding to our needs, at the same time remained professional. No joke - I had a meeting with an agent Rene Maxwell in November 2022 who then kidnapped myself in her car. I really did not want with her in the car but she lured me falsely with the offer to give transport back to her office to get me to sign some non-offer letter which Rene said that was non-binding. What happened next is next day I receive a call from manager who said that Rene left. And what I signed was binding.

Kevin managed the process for me from our first meeting and valuation to completion. He oversaw the team of agents who were proactive and consistent with arranging viewings over the course of 2 months, which included Mo.
Mo was the consummate professional in how he conducted viewings, prompt, diligent and showing the property in the best light.
Kevin was responsive whenever queries came up and was knowledgeable and transparent with me about the market conditions during the process.

I requested a lettings valuation from Foxtons Streatham. While the service was prompt, I found the valuer overly aggressive in pushing for the business which made me feel a little uncomfortable in my own home and the rental estimate was over £400 per month higher than every other agent I spoke with, which felt unrealistic. I had been warned this was a tactic they often play before getting you to lower your price a week later

Awful customer service from the Foxtons team who made our moving out process extremely stressful. We were added to a group chat with over 15 estate agents and bombarded with messages asking for viewings within under an hours notice. We booked out multiple 1 hour time slots of our day to accommodate their viewings to which no one showed up to and we were not informed beforehand. We specifically stated which days we were not available for viewings, only to come home with two agents conducting viewings without our consent. A lot of the people we spoke to during this process had a very condescending manner and were very unhelpful. To top it all off, the ‘To Let’ sign was put up outside on the wrong property. Overall, an extremely negative experience renting with Foxtons and I would not recommend them.

Had contacted them for viewing a property listed in Streatham . Made me wait over a whole week, even though I wanted to initially put an offer and get it done. They waited until the listing had more and more people as they wanted to juice out whoever offered the most , why list the property at 225 and then everyone pay way above ? Nonetheless, submitting the offer period both time first and final offer that I had placed for the property, somehow the other seller offered 2k more then my price submitted . Make it make sense?! How do I get told the offer is around 40 , I’m the last one to submit an offer which is closer to 50 , and the “best offer” is again 2k more then mine . Again?! This just shows foxton DISCRIMINATION against FIRST TIME BUYERS. There manger KEVIN started explaining how if the price isn’t matched then it’s on the market again , thinking I wouldn’t notice the low marks aimed at me increasing my offer and being serious, when I requested and stayed updated more then there team, I had to call them back numerous times, and then after each day towards closing time , I’d have to call them again to get a call back, where they would say any news. Honestly, not everyone’s GULLIBLE , it’s 2025. People can see how they ARE behind the scenes - favouritism. I’d highly suggest first time buyers or anyone that finds a good buy to avoid even booking a viewing until you confirm with them if there won’t be a “biding war” for a property specified at a certain price and doesn’t mention offers in excess or auction . Nonetheless, it’s very suspicious that how one offers his final number around what’s supposed to be highest offer given , yet when it’s decided , again his offer is “2k less” then the other interested buyers?!

Dealt with Dominique who was very eloquent and helpful to start with, in helping me and my friend rent a 2 bed flat. Showed me 3 properties, 2 of which were beautiful but just out our rental range.
After this text and emailed Dominique to absolutely no response.
But the sad part is me and my friend have gone to a different estate agent, and upped our rental price.

My son bought his first ever flat through Liz Thomas at Foxtons. We met with many different estate agents through his search but professionally, Liz towered head and shoulders above anyone else. After a line up of viewings day 1 she had clear idea of what my son wanted so no time wasted on higher priced or unsuitable flats. Liz’s communication was exceptional. She was totally intuitive, extremely patient and happy to go through granular detail so my son was very clear on ever stage of the purchase and remained’ on it ‘ at every step of the way. My son’s situation was complicated ( he’s out of the country a lot ) so Liz made sure we were all aware of any unexpected development so they could be quickly dealt with. But to be honest the best thing about dealing with Liz is the fact she’s an extremely lovely, straight forward, straight talking lady who completely understands the stress everyone ( on all sides ) is going through and she goes out of her way to make things as smooth as possible. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

Amazing experience at Foxton's Streatham, Shout out to Nailah Cave, who was so patient and kind during such a stressful time! They made sure I was calm and kept me in the loop at all times, really friendly and professional service. I picked up my keys yesterday (got a free bottle of water, standard) and everything has gone so smoothly. Having all the stuff on MyFoxtons portal makes all the paperwork so much easier to complete - even though there's loads of it when you're moving, at least you know exactly what you need to fill in and feel sure you've completed everything you need to when it's all ticked off. 10/10

An absolute disgrace. Turned up to a house we are paying 2600 a month for, that had no professional clean, mouldy food everywhere, infested with flies, anti semitic memorabilia, more broken furniture than useable, mould on the walls, dysfunctional fridge, washing machine and dryer and no access to the over grown garden. We have no working fire alarms and have been ignored for the past month from our daily calls to try and get something done, they’ve taken their comission and left us with a complete disgrace. As two Muslim lads in the house plus a load of Jewish friends we were disgusted to find a piece of cardboard with an distasteful drawing of an SS member with the n*zi logo plastered all over it. How can so little care for discrimination towards the Jewish community be shown in 2023. We have been offered no compensation, communication or clarification on what is to be done about the issues, leaving us to deal with them on our own.
I would recommend renting a house from the man sleeping outside streatham station before going to foxtons streatham.

Absolutely horrendous experience letting my property with Foxtons yet again. Switched back to them after 2 years of self-managing and 2 years using Jacksons Streatham who were far more professional. Switched back because I needed a tenancy filling ASAP and wanted to avoid a void period and believed they would be the best people to help. Explained my previous woes to Stephanie Milton Gorvie who promised to turn my experience around, LOL. They then pushed me into a 3 year tenancy (DISCOUNTED by more than £200pcm - in the current market!!!), and without proper disclosure that the fees would be taken all up front leaving me with no rent for 3+ months. They take 2+ weeks MINIMUM to reply to essential queries in spite of hefty monthly management charges. My tenants also got in touch with them FIVE WEEKS AGO asking to move their rent date by a week (which I could not accommodate due to the recent rise in interest rates tripling my mortgage payment which goes out on a particular date) and they did not reply to them at all even though I got back to them immediately, so my tenants continued paying rent late not knowing that I had not approved this. Regarding sales, I had my property on the market for sale with them last year and they contacted me twice maybe three times in months, ignoring all calls and emails. So much for being "the hungry ones". AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!!

Our agent Dominique was a mess from the start. Firstly, he failed to show up for the viewing we had. The most shocking thing was when we signed our tenancy, he shortly after requested we sign a new one as he spelt the landlord’s name wrong. However when he resent the agreement the name wasn’t changed but the length of the agreement went from 2 years to 3 to try and lock us in for longer. Also, the house wasn’t cleaned professionally. Poor communication and no accountability for his actions.

Mid April, we signed for a new build flat with a moving date agreed on the 15th of May. We were told there was some work to be done on the electricity and that we would be living with temporary electricity system for a couple of weeks max.
On the Friday 6th of May, we receive an email from Foxton saying that the move-in date was to be pushed to 16th of June, as the electricity company couldn't do the work due to bank holidays and so we wouldn't be able to move in on the 15th of May. Having no family in this country, we were literally homless. They didn't offer any alternative and doesn't respond to any suggestion we made, so we decided to place our furniture in storage, drive to my family in France for a month and move back for the 16th of June.
I got in touch with Foxtons asking for the coats of storage to be deducted from our first month rent as a compensation for all the extra costs they inflicted on us. To this they answered that they wouldn't compensate for anything, and either would the landlord because the contract that we had signed, wasn't yet, signed by the landlord, which meant that none of Foxtons or the landlord were liable for any costs that we had to face. When I asked why the landlord didn't signed Foxton responded that landlord had until move in date to sign contract. They also mentioned that they hadn't had a contact in 3 weeks with the landlord as she was in another country and couldn't check her emails (Amazonian jungle probably).
At this point I gave up and asked for the deposit and first month rent to be refunded to us immediately, which they did.
Thanks to Foxton and it's incompetent staff, I have now spent over a £1000 extra than planned, and both my husband and I had to take a week off work to visit new properties to be able to move on due date.
It's been an absolute nightmare from begining to end dealing with them. You constantly have to chase for updates, it takes day to get any decision approved, or any responses to your queries. But beyond this the most appalling thing is the lies they give you to make you wait or agree to what they want.
I had to put 1 star to get this review posted, but quite frankly that's an insult for this poor star, she deserve much better. At the end of the day I'm thankfull this happened, as I clearly have dodged the bullet. Reading the reviews of this agency, this entire nightmare could have lasted for 2 years.
Look at any other agencies I'd you can, it will save you money, time and extreme anxiety.

I recently had a regrettable experience with Foxtons estate agents, specifically with their representative, Nicola Moore. The flat that I rented had a serious mould issue, which I discovered after moving in. I immediately informed Nicola Moore and other agents at Foxtons about the issue multiple times over the course of my nearly two-year tenancy, but to my dismay, no effort was made to address or resolve the problem. Although Foxtons summoned several contractors to inspect the issue, none of them were able to provide a permanent solution, and the mould problem persisted. Ultimately, I was left with no other option but to use the break clause and vacate the property.
The most frustrating part of this entire ordeal was the lack of communication from Foxtons. Despite my repeated attempts to contact them, I have yet to receive a satisfactory explanation or resolution to this issue. I sent an email on April 11th, but as of May 5th, I have yet to receive a response.
In light of my experience, I strongly advise anyone considering Foxtons to exercise caution. The fact that they failed to address such a significant issue and failed to communicate effectively is concerning and suggests that they may not prioritize the needs of their clients. In my professional opinion, it would be prudent to avoid Foxtons and seek out a more reliable and customer-focused estate agent.

Rented from foxtons in streatham for 2 years contract as per their request, just the 2nd month, the mice starts to play around, it's a nice clean building & neighborhood in a close managed by a company that is really fantastic, but once I start to complain to foxton, the start sending pest control company that they are on contract with them, several disturbing visits & nothing conventional works, the mice became everyday nightmare for me & my kids including a 5 years old boy, the pest control guy was nice and decided to go deeper in diagnosing the cause, with his endoscope, he found the inlet area backside of the kitchen fitting all around the floor which is structural as he posted in his report back to foxton, he recommended to close it, however, it requires to remove the very old and fragile kitchen fitting which will not be able to be refitted again, foxtons cut this part of his report when they communicate with us and claimed the visit sorted out the issue of the mice, more mice kept showing up around the house from the kitchen which we provided videos to foxton, they sent another person from different 3rd party company who confirm & provide them with similar report & suggestions, after that foxton avoided replying to our several requests to sort out this permanently,ignored our emails to discuss or even to meet with anyone from them!!
The only thing the follow up on time is the monthly payment!!
If you want to rent, I advise to avoid Foxton

We used Foxtons to find tenants and collect rent. They are expensive, insist on all their fees being paid before you get a penny, are useless at communicating unless they can't money, don't return calls and don't take complaints seriously. They let arrears build up to nearly £5000 until I pointed it out. Their rent collection team was, in the words of the lettings support team "at least two weeks behind" in answering emails ie hadn't read emails that came in two weeks before. I could go on.

Dont rent with this company especially in your shown a property by Eddie Ismail. I put in a request on there website for a one bedroom with a garden and was shown a property that matched my needs. After signing my tenancy agreement they emailed me with a list of issues from mould and flooding problems to repair issues being needed. They also told me I was unable to use my deck in my garden as its cracking which makes 50% of my garden unusable even though my request was for a garden property. They have still yet to fufilll the conditional offers in my tenacy agreement and have left me with a broken mirrored wardrobe door for 3 months+ that contractors won't even touch barehanded but I have to be lifting it to get access to my clothes. Also told me the day before I was to move in that I am suppose to run a dehumidifier every time i shower and wash clothes. Dehumidifiers use so much electricity and are expensive to run but they only tell me of this last minute and now I am having mold issues in my flat. Anytime I call which is weekly I am told they are unable to reach the landlord. Pathetic service and dealing with them is not worth the properties they advertise. Will be pursuing my legal avenues

STEER CLEAR. Appalling service from Foxtons Streatham. They hound you to sign a contract and promise you the earth, convincing you to pay the highest commission on the high street. It is a scam. All very nice at the beginning of the contract, then completely unhelpful during the contract. I was left without a working toilet in the flat for weeks and only when I threatened legal action I was given alternative accommodation. Then as soon as the contract finished and we had to deal with the deposit, no one replies to emails, everyone stops answering. I was charged for stuff that was never even in the house and 300£ for professional cleaning when the house was given to me domestically clean.

Nightmare from start to finish. Had a boiler that didn't work during the winter. They sent out the same contractor THIRTEEN times before they asked another to attend. The second tried their best, left us with portable heaters (the agents did not offer us this even once during the 7 weeks we had no hot water or heating from early Feb onwards) they wouldn't come out a second time because it wasn't worth the hassle and it needed replacing. The third contractor finally said the boiler needed replacing because it was cheap.
During all this, I had a horrific mold situation begin in my bedroom from the damp and cold in the flat. It was black and green and in 3 corners of my room. It was spread over a large area of every corner. The new boiler was installed incorrectly and there was a gas leak. They fixed it but it was a ridiculous situation. We obviously chose to leave the flat when it was possible. When they showed people round the flat, they would go into my bedroom (where the dehumudifier was on and they gave us no further info about when the mold would be sorted) and told the viewers that the mold would be gone by the time they moved in. Why wasn't it fixed this quickly while we were living there?? Lastly, it was a battle to get the deposit back because the landlord stopped communicating. Only when I got my MP involved did it suddenly become available and it was claimed it was never kept back in the first place. There was so many issues with this team at Streatham foxtons that I would never, ever rent or buy from them. They were dishonest and just did not seem to care about their tenants.

Emi, a very friendly and professional individual from the Streatham Hill branch planned and took me on some viewings—which was very smooth and enjoyable—and even though we did not find a place on our first set of viewings, Emi still looked out for other properties on the radar and recommended them to us in the next few days. She took our requirements and found and took us around four separate properties, answered any questions we had, and never tried to push a property onto us, simply helping us make our own minds up. Because the adjective could not be more apposite than when attributed to Foxtons' Gary Cooper. ???? Had lockdown not been in the way we would probably have been the new "kids' on the block by now, sitting pretty in South London. However life is what happens to you when you're trying to buy the house of your dreams. For months on end we have all had to exercise patience and restraint. But while the pandemic has raged we have actually discovered where we should be heading, because you put us on the right path! For that we can't thank you enough. My partner and I have worked with a number of estate agents in our time looking for our new home. Most of them were decent, with a few being just too pushy and not at all considerate of our actual requirements.
When we rolled up to work with Foxton's in Streatham we met Emi.
Emi took us on a full day of viewings; we had 6 properties lined up with the majority of the leg work being performed by Emi herself, taking into account our requirements, our budget and our preferences.
All the properties she showed us were, in one way or another, very much to our specifications. By the end of the day we had found the place we wanted, we made an offer and Emi was simply fantastic throughout. She really went above and beyond to meet our needs, she didn't try to push or sell or manage any negative musings we had on a property.
We felt heard, our specifications understood, and our needs were taken on board; it was refreshing how genuine she was, and we both felt that Emi really tried to get to know us. We ended up having a lot of fun looking for a place with Emi as she was vibrant, understanding and driven.
My partner and I would definitely recommend FOXTONS in Streatham, and if requesting a particular agent is even possible - ask for Emi. You won't regret it.

She is very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, kind, patient and she will never pressure you like I know many agents do and this makes all the difference. My experience with Foxtons, Streatham branch has been excellent from the beginning of the sale process to completion. I was so impressed with the speed and efficiency they found a buyer for my flat which was during the height of the pandemics trend of Londoners downing tools for more spacious countryside homes! I felt the price was very competitive considering the market value of the property. This highlights that Foxtons and their team, which in my case was Dinishka Jayasena and Aaron Howard, are true experts in their field, they value their buyers and sellers equally and ensured all communication was clear and consistent throughout the process. I would have no hesitation recommend Foxtons, Streatham for buying or selling a property.

The worst experience with agency I could imagine! Waiste my time going to see the houses . I inform the agent that I have a dog and I am looking for a pet friendly house . When almost I have sign the agreement I decide to read that first and I have notice that is saying" that between landlord and tenancy we are not allowed to keep dog in thys property" . When I ring foxton agency in tooting to ask why is saying on agreemrnt that we are not allowed dog they say that are all agreements look the same . Than I ask them to change that for me ,they say they will check what they can do for me . After 10 min they call me back saying that sorry but we can't rent it fot you !? I am 37werk pregnant i ask them 5 times about dog they say is not a problem . Even today they call me to sing the agreement and pay the money . When I ask them to change the agreemnt because is saying dog are not allowed they just tell me that they can't do it for my and bey ? Thats the professional agency ??? In 20 days i expect my baby and I have send leaving notice to my previous landlord !? I spend with thys agency 2 weeks for nothing waisting my time !!How they can treat people like that ?????? Even no 1 star but there is no option to put a 0 !

After many hesitations, I put my flat on the market with Foxtons. They’re very good at harassing you on the phone to get your property, but for the past 4 weeks, I’ve been unable to get in touch with them to end (I’ve emailed, called, texted). Our agreement ended up on Wednesday but they organised a viewing after that date as I was away and still had my keys.
They charge a very high fee and they’re not better than any other estate agent.

Absolutely amazing we had our house on the market with another agency who promised us everything accept the main purpose of selling our house at a very stressful time we decided to go else where I had met with a lot of agents all offering different ideas and prices. Tom Pallas came to our house he was very charming and confident and asured us the best price / value for our home I felt very happy even though foxtons charge an extra fee the price he managed to market our house for ended up being a better price and covered foxtons fees anyway after being on the market with other agency for 2 months hardly no viewings we was feeling very hopeless as soon as foxtons had put the house on the market with in a day we had 4 viewings booked in and lots more booked for a few days later we was really surprised also we could see how many people was looking at our house online as you get a my foxtons account and it keeps you updated with all viewings feedback and responses to what people thought of the house and price it’s self it’s really great !
So on the first viewing someone had made an offer Joanna had done the viewing and asured us the buyer was going to put in a decent offer and they did

Totally worth the commission! Before I went through the whole process I was resentful at the thought of having to pay a 3% commission on a sale. But after having tried to sell my flat with a small local estate agent one year, and with purple bricks another year, I now get it. Foxtons were superb in getting the offer and not only that but keeping constant pressure on so that the sale went though. I encountered a lot of problems like having to get the roof repaired during the sale process and they advised me throughout, going above and beyond with things like printing out forms and personally taking them round to the freeholder to complete and cutting additional sets of keys. I would say the earned every cent of that commission. Very happy customer.

Decided to sell our home and contacted local estate agents including Foxtons in Streatham the employee who i spoke to was called Thomas during our phone chat i asked him what the fee structure is and was told 2% this is double what all the other was charging when I challenged him to why it would cost me a extra £8500 to sell with Foxtons he was unable to justify I told him there was no point in going any further he called me an idiot and then put the phone down! of course i was shocked and called him back and he was just a rude. I was shocked at how bad the service we received was when we tried to rent out our flat through Foxtons.
1. We were told out tenant was a problem and would not allow viewings even though she was a short let tenant put into the property by the corporate team. She declined 3 viewings when she first moved in as she was not given enough notice and as was still moving items in. On one occasion we were told that the lettings team could not get in to the flat even though the tenant was on holiday.
2. We had 105 cancelled viewings! This is our biggest issue with the how bad the service from the office and the negotiators was. We feel that our flat was just an add on/leaver flat used to rent other properties and then use the feedback to reduce our price.
3. We only received 2 offers that were well below asking price.
4. The lack of constructive feedback was a major issue. We were told the problem was solely the price, if that was the case why did we not have more under asking price offers?
5. We put the flat on Openrent and we did 7 viewings and had 5 asking price offers with no cancellations!
Having worked for foxtons for may years, I was appalled by the experience that I received and expected the best possible service and experience and so rather than being delighted to recommend foxtons to everyone I know, I will be recommending Openrent! The feel that the reasons we had so many problems with you was, the lack of staff in the office, at one point there was only 1 neg, the lack of experience of all the negs that booked viewings was very apparent as they would book a viewing but then not go. We felt that they were only booking viewings on our flat to keep us happy

Horrible organisation. I booked a viewing telling them it was the only flat I wanted to see and not to suggest any other. Took time off to see the flat and upon my arrival the agent said he would show me two flats. When I asked why not see the one I wanted to see he said he was not available anymore. Didn't bother warning me and made me come all this way for nothing. Not professional.

Myself and my friends have been stressed, as you can imagine, looking for a house in London. We managed to get Martell St Pierre from the Streatham Hill branch to look after us, he has been nothing but reassuring during this stressful time, polite and very professional. Made an offer on a 1 bed flat on Streatham High Road with Ermal. I am still waiting for a response. Called multiple times and was promised a call back from Max or Chris (Manager) still nothing. Found out flat had been let by visiting Townsend's website. Ermal seemed completely disinterested the entire time showing us round.

Great experience from start to end with Adam Stewart, who understood my needs and budget from the first call and arranged four viewings to take place on the same evening. Most importantly, every property ticked every box I asked for and I would have bought them all if I could!! It sounds like a simple request but after four months of searching, to have an agent have such a good understanding of my needs and showing me a variety of properties that matched these was invaluable (and seemingly rare!)
He remained in good contact throughout the process after my offer was accepted whilst never hounding me, supported me with my various questions and even helped me remain calm on a rather stressful completion day.

As a first time buyer we have been struck by just how terrible an experience it can be when confronted with pushy, aggressive and arrogant estate agents. My partner and I were incredibly impressed each and every time (there were 3 occasions) that we were shown properties by Foxton's agents. I happened to be one of Foxtons' first clients when they opened their branch in Streatham, SW16. My flat was rented before the marketing paperwork had time to dry!! I now have my properties fully managed through them. I enjoy 100% occupancy, my tenants are charming and rent has seldom been late. Yes, Foxtons' charges are above average but their service is always professional and reliable. I am happy to pay that little bit more for a fine sales team (under the helm of Samuel Anderson), an allocated property manager and all the services that come with the full management package. Another thing is the low turnover of staff, so I always know I am talking to someone who has a personal understanding of my portfolio. I don't know how I did without them!

Being quite new at renting properties in London and after going through so many agencies, I finally found one that meets my needs and goes beyond my expectations. Ermal Dulaj met us after working hours for us to view the property we now live. It was fast and efficient which was amazing since we were almost out of options. I wouldn't recommend any other agency. Renting an entire place for yourself can have a lot of bureaucracies and they eliminated that stress from us.
