Barton Wyatt had the head-start on Octagon, having started back in the swinging sixties, so some 15 years our senior. The Wyatt family lost no time in building one of the most outstanding agencies in Surrey, if not the entire South East. Almost single handedly in those early years, this pro-active independent put Virginia Water and The Wentworth Estate on the international property map, so we got to know them well, as these are favoured locations for our top of the range family homes. In a tough housing market, Stephen was great to deal with: always patient, charming and respectful. He never lost interest in or enthusiasm for selling the property and there was always a steady stream of people to view it. I knew my house did not have mass appeal but also that to the right person it could be the perfect home. And Stephen found that right person. I felt I could trust both him and his judgement and I would recommend Barton Wyatt to anyone thinking of selling.
