This agency is trying to milk people whilst giving very poor living conditions ever, like: black mold, very humid environment, extremely high bills, being very shady about payment and overall being unreasonable. Extremely rude and unprofessional. I had a viewing and was told to 'show myself around', whereas a group arriving two minutes after me were given a full explanation and tour whilst I was in the house. It's common to have multiple viewings at the same time, but not to be treated with a complete lack of respect and disregard. I have dealt with many estate agents and this was by far the worst experience I have ever had. Avoid!... Read more

I am writing as I am helpless and hopeless, I rent a property in barnet from Brian Thomas agency, I had reported a leak in the property which was not acted on for more than a month and a half leading to the ceiling collapsing on me while sleeping, further to that no appropriate actions were taken by Chris lane ( director) / John of Brian Thomas agency. All I received was very rude and threatening behaviour, being forced to stay on a property that was not fit to live on. They also have not been responding to my emails for the past couple of months. I am not able to find a negative star rating. I am not sure how trading standards allow these types of agencies even to function.... Read more

Rude, arrogant, unprofessional dinosaurs - AVOID!!!!!! You know the type = they try to tell you that doing their job and fulfilling their legal responsibilities is "doing you a favour." It's easy to know when Chris is lying, as his lips move and sound comes out. If you want to waste your time and money then just pay a visit to these two these dinosaurs who will surely end up like all dinosaurs, very soon.... Read more

I arranged to view a house on Saturday morning and the agent (John) never showed up. We waited 20 minutes and I contacted Chris who had arranged the viewing, multiple times, and got no response. When I called the office to ask what happened they hung up on me. You'll find better clowns in the circus. Avoid.... Read more

Abysmal Service. Where to even begin? Just terrible. I called to book a viewing for a room and was asked if I wanted to view it on the same day. When I said yes, the agent informed me that I couldn’t view it on the same day without tenant approval (Why even suggest it?). He said he’d call me back shortly. He never called back. I then chased him up and began trying to book for the following day. When trying to confirm the best route from my work, he hung up on me telling me to ‘figure it out.’ Pure rudeness. I called back again after letting my annoyance subside and booked a viewing for the evening on the following day. I was then told that I’d receive a confirmation within 30 minutes. After 3 hours, I called to confirm my appointment and was told that I’d receive confirmation shortly, but it was booked in. The next day, I called to confirm again as I still hadn’t received anything. I was then informed that my viewing was cancelled and the room was gone. Absolutely awful service. Lazy, do-nothing, rude, pointless. Imagine if I had ventured there to be met by no one? Best avoided because their service is appalling. Can’t imagine what the tenants have to tolerate.... Read more

I have found my rental flat via Brian Thomas in march 2021- I have to say that every time I had an issue, the guys at the agency were super quick to react and very helpful. It feels like a home environment where you are not just a number which is refreshing. Today, the electricity on my street was out and I had a crucial presentation to deliver at work, so the only place I could think of was... Brian Thomas office. They were kind, by allowing me to use their office space , and internet without disturbance - something I am really grateful for and added a personal touch, I don't know any other estate agents going the extra mile for what is an existing customer they are not benefitting from.... I had a viewing booked for a property for sale that the guy (John) never showed up for. When I rang him to see if he was still coming, he had no idea who I was. When I mentioned I had a viewing booked with him and I was outside the property he stumbled over his words and made up some rubbish about someone getting in an accident and it was apparently them who was meant to show me round not him. He said he’d call me back with an update. After an hour of waiting I called him back and the story had now changed to someone’s car had broken down so they wouldn’t make it to show me round the property. Unbelievably unprofessional....
