My dad has rented through Bridgfords for almost 3 years and has only had issues. The property he rented was full of mold that they did not do anything about, he lived without hot water in the bathroom for 2 years and with a boiler that was not working properly. Considering how much he paid monthly for the property you would expect much more and from such a reputable company.

This year my dad suddenly died and when notifying Bridgfords of his death they seemed to be compassionate and caring and within conversation it was agreed that if I cleaned and tidied the flat then the security deposit would be returned to help with the funeral costs. As you can probably expect, that wasn't the case. They are now trying to play the card that because it wasn't agreed in writing they can't keep to their word and they have done nothing to follow up on the compassionate or caring that they initially pretended.

Its safe to say I would never use Bridgfords and I would strongly tell everyone not to go anywhere near them, they are an utterly useless, money hungry set of fake estate agents. AVOID.

Great experience letting from Bridgfords. Friendly, helpful, and organised staff. I dealt mainly with Adam but other staff were also always able to respond to my queries. Would recommend.

I was renting a flat with them, over two years I always had troubles getting answers from them, many emails went unanswered or you have to follow-up on your request many times. Maybe it does not help that it is always a different person answering your messages. But in the end my main questions have been answered, just avoid them if you look for a stress free experience.

After reading many positive comments I contacted Bridgfords to help me with the renting. The communication was poor, especially from Katie no responds back nothing. I tried to call them a few times, however they never get back to me so the communication has been poor, but I believe as a company they are good.

I viewed a flat with the intention of buying it to rent out. We proceeded to purchase the flat but raised a query with Bridgefords, could they confirm that the flat can definitely be rented out. They confirmed it could. 15 weeks later, having spent £750 on solicitor and mortgage fees, the deeds to the flat state that it can't be sublet and the property management company will not waiver this clause.
Bridgefords advise that the seller told them it was ok to rent out, so the liability lies with the vendor. The vendor has no legal obligation to cover any of my costs incurred to date. Surely there should be more checks than a conversation with the seller to confirm what the deeds say!

This property was mis sold to me and Bridgefords have seen me out of pocket by £750
