I can't recommend Bridgfords enough, Victoria and Shaunnie go above and beyond to help you and give you peace of mind when it comes to selling your house. Victoria came to our house to do a valuation, she was the third estate agent we had had round and she was the only one who came with knowledge and information about our house and the other houses on our street that had previously sold, giving us an Insight of what to expect when selling our house. This information was grately appreciated, Victoria had really done her homework and was 100% the most professional estate agent we saw. "Never a fun experience selling a property today - too much form filling, but i must say Victoria soon got things moving and was professional, polite, and kept me informed. When matters got bogged down, as happens today. Shaunnie at Bridgfords was especially helpful, not only with forms, but liaising with the solicitors (who sometimes appear to live in a different time scale) making sure that everything essential, including 'i's dotted and 'T's crossed was in their hands. When proceedings did appear to be grinding on, (think of a 10 minute injury time period when 3 would have sufficed) Bridgfords had a big hand in pushing matters to a satisfactory conclusion." Whilst viewing properties at Whitby we stumbled across Bridgfords Estate Agents. On arrival we were greeted by Shauney who was exceptionally friendly and helpful. We were shown a property we were interested in and the manager Victoria offered to take us there to view it the same day. During the viewing she went above and beyond sharing her knowledge and experience. We were extremely impressed!!! Fingers crossed the property is ours!

Having received a letter from Bridgfords offering a free valuation, and already considering a move, we arranged an appointment with Victoria. She arrived promptly and had a thorough look around the house and garden, then gave us the valuation along with useful literature about selling and discussed the local market with us. We also had a good talk about the sort of property we are looking for and Victoria will send through any potential properties that fit the bill. Victoria was bright, positive and straightforward and she gave us a boost to make the move.

I have only been dealing with Bridgfords Whitby for a month or so - but I am already really impressed by Victoria's professional yet friendly attitude. I went with Bridgfords after 3 months with an online agent. Victoria has been open, realistic and proactive in her approach to how to market my flat and this swayed me to choose her and Bridgfords. I feel reassured that she and James are there to support and guide me through the selling of my flat. It helps that the staff are local and know the area so well; while they also have the back-up and wider perspective of a nationwide company. There is a long way to go yet - so expect further review updates!
UPDATE: JULY 2022 Having found it very stressful to sell through an online agent, with no face-to-face contact and little consistency in staff, we cautiously looked at traditional estate agents to help carry the burden of the selling process for us. This has proved to have been invaluable; not least because Victoria & James at Whitby branch have involved themselves every step of the way, reassuring us and communicating up and down the chain - and basically, that is exactly what we wanted. We didn’t to be alone with this and it has taken a huge burden off us, helping to ease what is at times a very unpredictable and stressful process. Victoria and James have been professional, available, communicative and friendly at all times. We have all worked together to get the result that we wanted. THANKS :)

I received a card through my letterbox inviting me to get a free valuation from Bridgfords and had the great pleasure of inviting Victoria Noble into my home. Victoria was very professional but also very friendly and had an in depth knowledge of the local area together with a great understanding of the property market. Having assessed the property she gave me her valuation together with a very professional Report Folder showing how she arrived at the price and lots of other valuable information. I'm writing this on behalf of a friend who doesn't have access to Google.
The whole team, but particularly Victoria, has been very helpful with the sale of an old property in Loftus. It has been along haul - a buyer pulled out at the last minute- but completion is now imminent with a new purchaser. Throughout the sale process, Victoria has been superb, she even brought documents to sign to my friend's new home and has been friendly and supportive all the time.
I'd certainly recommend Bridgfords, Whitby as a selling agent.

Having purchased over 37 properties I have a good understanding of what to expect both as a seller and a buyer.
Sadly my dealings with this estate agent has been very one sided as I have requested additional details on several occasions both by phone and email and have received nothing back, with the exception to say Staithes was along way from their office in Whitby.
