Initially they spent a lot of time updating us with feed back from viewers and we secured a buyer within 10 days. However the sale fell through and the estate agent have now put the house back on the market.
We have not had any communication since then and I did ask for a monthly report to be sent to show activity around our house today’s I have not received this.

At first I thought my property would be managed by cavendish, after paying all the fees Cavendish required I was then told it would be managed by the landlady herself . Inventory images covered up by furniture, peeling plaster, no gas checks, and yet I've been expected to pay near to £800 PM. Now I'm moving home when asked, the landlady still thinks its appropriate to take my deposit of £1125, these charges include a skip, carpet clean and a few hours of housekeeping. To start we agreed on a deduction of £200 with a additional charge of £140 for a skip. As the weeks went but the landlady must have changed her mind and decided she wants to take the whole amount. Cavendish tried to mediate between us both buy failed and now I'm left with no depsit funds for my new property that has now been lost. Reason I went with cavendish is because I thought they were a reputable company, and most of all the decision would be made on a non biast decision, I've paid a big price to find out this is not the case, they act clearly as Tennant finders and what goes on after the fees have been paid is your problem. Really dont know what to do, been staying cheap hotels as I have no family or friends in the area and I need to study so I have no choice. To anyone that's considering to rent from cavendish I wouldn't recommend it as they are near enough 100% on the landlords side and you will most defonatley not be seeing your depsit again for no fault of your own. I have tried to complain using other channels but I've had no luck, once you pay them their cut of the deal safe to say you've been robbed blind.

They have kept us informed at all times when dealing with both our solicitor and our buyers solicitor and rectified situations that could have led to us pulling out of the sale. I would recommend Cavendish to anyone looking for an agent to sell their property with. The staff are friendly helpful and extremely professional since having our property valued through to the completion of our sale, and even our purchaser has sung their praises for keeping them informed also . Cavendish rentals based in Chester are a very unethical estate agents based at No2 Cuppin St,It goes without saying that the big fat girl in the small office is extremely arrogant causing my partner and myself a great deal of stress while she laughed and smiled.Money sucking unprofessional leeches that should not be in business and certainly not with hideous full of themselves stupid staff.

We had our property on the market for almost 3 months and only had one viewing in that time, despite dropping the price. We had to contact the agent on several occasions for updates and were not able to check the status of interest in the property ourselves on line. They were however always polite and did usually ring back when we requested but I feel they could have been a lot more pro-active and kept us updated a lot better.
