Jill Watson was the most difficult agent I have ever worked with - and I have rented 7 different properties in my adult life. She was very hard to get in contact with, taking multiple days to respond to urgent emails and barely responded on Whatsapp, or if she did respond, it was brief and hard to understand. She lacked empathy when I informed her of my issues with my roommate or issues with the inventory that SHE advertised in the flat (i.e. she said there was a working dishwasher, it did not work and never was fixed even after multiple requests. She also advertised that there would be two flatmates, but failed to inform me during my viewing that the only other female flatmate was moving out and would not be replaced, leaving me with only one male flatmate who started to then make multiple creepy comments to me).
Due to this, I asked if it would be possible to end my tenancy early, to which she initially responded that I would receive my deposit back if the landlord was ok with it and I found a replacement. I found a replacement for my room (saving her and the landlord time and resources). I asked if it was possible to get my deposit back, but I did not know that in the meantime, she had contacted a solicitor and told my landlord that they should not agree to give my deposit back.
Oh, one fun story too, is that one day my handle on the door to my room stopped working and was jammed, meaning I had no way to get out. I had to miss the first half of my work day and was locked in my room for hours before either Jill or my landlord responded to my urgent texts and calls. This left me to arrange for a locksmith to come myself.

I am writing this review to express my deep dissatisfaction. Despite the high rent I pay, their response to maintenance issues in my property has been consistently neglectful and unprofessional. Requests for essential repairs are frequently ignored, and the agency only seems to show interest in communication when it benefits them, such as during property viewings.
What’s equally frustrating is the agency’s overall attitude. There is a clear lack of respect and professionalism in their interactions, which is not acceptable in a client-agent relationship. As a tenant, I expect and deserve prompt and courteous service, which has been sorely lacking.
I am urging the agency to take immediate steps to address these maintenance issues and to improve their customer service. Potential tenants should be aware of these issues before considering a property managed by Marwan Samaha

Please do not forget to take photos of the property when you move in if you are renting, these people will try and scam you out of your deposit.
These people leased me a property in poor condition, then lied and said the poor state of the property was my fault - to try and claim all of my deposit at the end of tenancy

Mould so bad it damaged my clothes
Tried to take £1200 pounds from deposit for usage marks
I gifted them a toaster after asking if they wanted it, then they proceeded to try and charge me double the price of the toaster to clean it?

Worst experience I have ever had.
There was a fire in the underfloor heating of my building, leaving a very large hole in my flat, as well as persistent exposure to debris and dangerous fumes. REMAX did not make any moves to get this fixed in over 2 months, driving me to look for elsewhere to live.
Before we discovered the fire under the floor, (when it was just the unbearable fumes) I was told by the engineer that REMAX sent to go to sleep and see if it persisted in the morning. Thankfully, a neighbour who had also had her underfloor heating catch fire in that same building told me to call the firefighters, and they were able to discover the fire. If I would have left it up to REMAX, I could be dead by now.
The apartment was not left in habitable conditions, yet I got 0 compensation for any of my rent, nor living 2 months without my heating as the building management said it posted a threat to life, nor the increased energy bills due to using a space heater to keep warm, nor help to cover any vet bills from the irreparable pulmonary damage this made to my cat, who now has feline asthma.
Incredibly thoughtless and unethical agency - would not recommend to anyone.

I picked RE/MAX to sell my flat partly because I randomly came across the exact agent I had bought it from ten years ago. He and his colleague both worked hard to sell my flat at a good price. Aside from a few minor instances of miscommunication; I was very happy with them. Was very dismayed by the whole experience. Paid my fee in expectation of a reasonable and focused service. Instead, had very little input and no worthwhile service. Very casual attitude and contact with the office was brushed aside. A complete waste of money. The nominated agent did not produce the goods and did not seem at all interested in doing much at all. Certainly would never recommend.

We had the misfortune of renting a flat managed by these guys. The least responsive, most disorganised agency team I ever dealt with. Every single request was a mission as it had to be chased infinite times (only phone as emails received no response), and to finish it all off they completely forgot to book checkout for the agreed move out day before charging us for another professional clean. That's until we complained and they eventually changed their mind. Staff are generally polite when we do get through to them, but that's the only positive.

the worst experience I've ever had in my life!
they cheated me, renting me a house full of mice. they knew everything and when we found out they asked us to place two traps and in case there were mice they would have done the disinfestation.
we only got two traps at their expense, then they disappeared. they don't let us leave home even with a month's notice. WE ARE TRAPPED IN THE HOUSE WITH MICE WALKING IN THE BED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Without our permission they listed our property on Right Move for less than the price of our official listing. This is certainly unethical and i'd think highly illegal. We only found out because other agents called to see if we could list with them as well! Who knows how many prospective tenants contacted them through their advert rather than us directly.

How is anything higher than a one-star review possible for this joke of a property management company? The service they provided to my daughter at her condo was beyond repellant. No Internet or cable TV in her unit for over half a year because they were too lazy to do anything about it and insisted it was a problem "inside her unit", even though they had promised the prior owner they would handle the issue.
Guess what? The problem ended up being a severed wire in the hallway near the elevator, nowhere near my daughter's unit. We had to spend countless hours handling and tracking down the issue, because they TOTALLY FAILED at their job--and only grudgingly allowed us to engage repair services to explore outside her unit after multiple requests.

Not impressed and feeling sorry for the vendor. I wanted to view property and the first person on the phone was friendly and helpful. Unfoturnately the address provided to view the property was at best misleading and was incorrectly - by a long way - shown on the map.
When I phoned the agent supposedly at the flat to be viewed he failed to answer his mobile or return my call.
Tried again today to potentially view the flat but was broadly be met by bad manners (agent who was supposed to be at the viewing last time) and failure to listen. Fortunately the property in question is not my top priority so I don't need further contact with Remax Central. I certainly will not be using them to sell any of my flats.
