Very irresponsible, we cannot trust this agency especially for the person who is new to this country. They provide zero support for the customers. Me and my colleagues end up in paying a huge amount to Greenwich council as this agency failed to update the adress with the new tenant after we left the property a year ago.

Moving to the United Kingdom was a scary thought. So many questions in my mind. One of the biggest one was housing arragements.
However, it was a privilege to meet the staff of Charles Knight Letting Agency. Their members of staff are professional, friendly and efficient with the services they offer.
What was even more grand for me is that fact that when i really needed a place to rent that was convenient for food, shopping, transport, work, and most importantly within my budget, these folks were able to match me with the most suitable options in a matter of moments.
The preparation process took merely a few days and just like that i was in a comfortable living space.

Great at losing your deposit. Moved out 3rd of the month. Landlord gave them authority to release full deposit back to me on 12th. 29th I find out they sent it on 28th to my landlord instead of me. Absolutely useless. I've asked for their complaints procedure but doubt I'll receive this. Unfortunate because they were good when I let the flat from them originally; just terrible at the end of tenancy admin and now they've lost my deposit.

Neil and his team are without doubt one of the best agencies I have used. My first point of contact was Rejin who was able to show me the apartment at short notice and was more than helpful in explaining agreements and policies. Valerie made contact the following morning to assist in my booking deposit and further questions. My application was urgent and complicated as we needed accommodation ASAP due to family sickness and were only here on holiday. Valerie, Rejin and Shahena were always available for advice and assistance. Finally, I can't thank Neil enough for all of his help and assistance with moving in. I would highly recommend Neil and his team for any property letting or sales within the Borough.

Neil Raja and team. Worst company I have ever delt with. Moved in to a unfurnished apartment, that had 2 sofas, beds and all the kitchen was full of plates pans pots and much more. Damage though out the whole apartment, 2 months into the rent, wife's foot went straight through the bath tub which they blamed on us saying that the breakage was not a foot but it was a heavy object that we dropped in the tub, they even said that the damage could of been caused by a cheap plastic shower head! I got a letter saying that they would take the money from my deposit to fix it and the worst thing is that I told them so many times that they cannot blame us without looking underneath the bath tub, they I insisted that it was our fault and would not fix the issue until I would agree for them to take it out from our deposit. Once I agreed they took out the bathtub and realized that the whole wooden panel underneath was crumbled and rotten. I never received and apology letter, only a call from his associate saying that we did not have to pay.
Leak from conservatory roof took over a month to fix, insects coming out of the wood work from kitchen. We had rats, which they NEVER did anything about, and after saying to them we wanted to leave early because of everything they then took our whole deposit and never did they apologize or admit to their wrong doing. Unprofessional and none of them have a clue about what they are doing! Stay away, especially from crooks like Neil Raja!!!

I dealt with Neil with regard to the sale of our house and can honestly say that he definitely knows his market, as the house sold exactly as he forecast. Neil was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process of the sale, from our initial meeting he was always professional, efficient, helpful and friendly. He was sensitive to the circumstances of the sale and kept me updated throughout, in fact, everything ran very smoothly thanks to Neil and the team at remax. Fantastic service.
Other members of the team with whom I had contact with and who were equally as professional, helpful and friendly were Rejin and Rachel.

I was regularly paying my rent to them on the account Neil gave me(their business account). After a few months the landlord contacted me saying that I was paying my rent the last months! I send all the documents needed to prove that the payments were done on time (bank statements) but they refused to give the money to the landlord saying that they cannot find the payments I was doing to them!! If you don’t want any troubles stay away from them

I can't really describe the customer service with words, honestly.. Once i called this office after 3 days i was in the house with all check done in one day. They gave me their personal numbers and they spoke and they still speak with me all the time for all my conserns like friends. The best approach that i ve ever seen in estate agencies and generally. I feel so safe that their office is near to me like i have my family in case that i ll need something. Really this comment is to little. First time since i am in London i feel that someone treat me like that. Thanks a lot!

RE/MAX First. I have no idea what happened to my experience but it was completely different to the other reviews. Communication was sloppy with me doing the chasing. I was told that I was left two voicemails - not to my number. Unprofessional presentation of self, company and customer experience. This did not instill any confidence in their ability to provide even a reasonable service. Messy, sloppy, nonchalant attitude.
Just scrolled to the bottom and it would appear that RE/MAZ First are piggy baking on previous tenants Charles Knights Estates excellent reviews. Initial instinct was correct - cowboys!
24/10/2018 - have others noticed that the majority of 5 star ratings are from people with just one review under their belts. Rather suspicious in my opinion.

I had Re/Max as a managing agency for over a year, living abroad it is very difficult to deal with tenants and other issues related to renting a flat. Neil was always on top of things and looked after our flat as if it was his own. He dealt with a refurbishment, new tenants, disappearing tenants...all sorts!
After a while we decided to sale and they also took over the sale of the property, he went the extra "few hundred" miles and always made sure I got the best deal. He dealt with a few hiccups that we found along the way in a very professional manner, I would have lost my marbles and my mental sanity if I had to do all on my own.
So, I will be always grateful to Neil and his team for looking after our property so well. I highly recommend RE/MAX FIRST

I have been trying to sell my house with two previous estate agents. I was let down so many times with silly errors and poor communication. I received around 4 letters a week with estate agents wanting the opportunity to sell my house. I came across Remax and it was a breath of fresh air. I was enthused by their introductory offerings. I met Darien who is the owner of the Lewisham office. He gave me total confidence I would sell my house with them. He is smart in his presentation, he knows the business and is articulate in his approach. Being a local chap, originally from Ladywell, he knows the area extremely well. I have finally sold my house through a very challenging market, we are having right now. I cannot thank him and his staff enough. Great experience everyone. I cannot recommend them enough.

I firstly came across Remax after months of stress trying to find a room for myself and my partner within our budget.
It was looking like we were going to have to be in another house share. Which we didn't want, after 3 years of sharing with other people.
We were contacted by Neil via 'Room mate', saying he had a flat we might be interested in which was well within our budget.
It looked like a studio from the photos but still looked to good to be true.
When we came to view it, it turned to out to be a two floor flat! Beautiful and big too. We instantly knew this was the place to start our lives together, as just us.
Later that day they confirmed it, it was officially our flat.
They helped with everything from wifi, to electricity bills (which I had never set up before on my own).
I couldn't recommend a better team to help anyone move into their homes. My boyfriend and I are very happy in our new flat all thanks to them!

After having problems with numerous estate agents over the last few months I can honestly say that Charles Knight are by far the best. We firstly had a visit from the owner Neil who we got along with straight away and believed he was the best person to sell our house. Being honest and truthful is rare in estate agents and he was true to his word. A buyer was found in 3 weeks and at the price we wanted. This is the best agency i have been dealing with. They all are very helpful and really friendly. We wanted to rent one house but we had problems because one of us we didn't have all references ready but they found the way to help us and even we had some issues to sort everything out they tried their best and in the end we got the house we always wanted. Really personable and empathetic estate agents. Neil and James went above and beyond the usual remit to help me and my partner to secure a rental flat in Brockley.
They were flexible with meeting times, prompt in getting back to any queries and it really felt like they were backing our corner - a rare quality in estate agents nowadays!
Both Neil and James obviously care about the places they manage and the people they let it out to. An added bonus was also how incredibly organised all the paperwork was when it came to the time of signing contracts and getting any additional information.
I would definitely recommend them to anyone else looking to let/ret/buy/sell/all of the above.
