I have had absolutely the worst experience of working with Chancellors. I have been dealing Richard Kindred. First thing first they sucked me in with a high selling price, even though my better instincts told me otherwise I went with it, wasted a couple of months at that price. Secondly their contracts tie you in for six months, I should have paid more attention but clearly that is the sign of a very insecure busy. After two months they then suggested reducing the price significantly. Thirdly in three months I have had two viewings.
I once went to pick up my keys and they had left them in the car in the car park, great security. Communication has been awful. Richard has called once in three months. I get an automatically generated email once a week that is just some apparent activity numbers. The flat is lovely in a lovely block and in a lovely location so no issues there.
Their office in Amersham is scruffy, mostly empty and no one there on Saturdays because they are out on viewings.
My main issue is that when a business has clearly failed to deliver their side of the bargain, then letting me out of the contract is just good customer service. But no they want to hold me in, even though they are delivering terrible customer service etc. I would not recommend these people in any way.

My partner and I have been dealing with Daniel from Chancellors who has helped us tremendously during the purchase of our first property.
He was always on hand to answer any questions we had along the way and made sure to get back to us quickly and efficiently, this made the communications between us and the seller extremely easy and reliable.

Customer service is a disgrace. We initially put our property on the market with Chancellors after we were approached by them saying there were buyers “actively seeking out our property”. Once we put the house on the market with them it has been an absolute nightmare trying to get regular updates. I’ve always had to chase for updates. Fed up with the service, I then asked for the property to be removed from the market - again greeted with zero response until I chased multiple times. I am now chasing to close off the contracts and still had no response!

I had an wonderful experience at Chancellors in Amersham due to Shaun Haywood.
Shaun showed us around a property in Little Chalfont last week, he was polite and knowledgeable, knowing all the answers to our questions. We have placed an offer on the house and look forward to working with him throughout the rest of the purchase.

Charlotte Perry estate agent is amazing. Always cheerful and willing to go the extra mile for me. She grasped what I wanted in a small house straight away and kept me on her 'radar' all the time - to be remembered is a key element in her delivery of service. Now she has found me a wonderful little property which is just what I wanted. Thank you Charlotte - I shall recommend (have done already) you to others who are looking to buy.

From the moment I spoke to Lee Shaw of Chancellors Amershaam, I knew they would do everything to help us find the home we were after.
I could tell Lee was very busy with viewings but he made the time to fit us in to a viewing of a home we really wanted to see.
He was polite, professional and full of enthusiasm - just the right ingredients you need in someone when you yourself have the excitement and stress of house hunting.
I highly recommend Chancellors Amersham - in particular Lee.
