Wyatts House, Rickmansworth Road, Chorleywood, Rickmansworth, WD3 5SE(44 reviews)16th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)I think the best way to summarise my feelings from my experience with Binks is that anything house related (in my previous experience at least) has the potential to be extremely stressful, but on both occasions with Binks (the first time some years ago when I dealt with Lettings, and more recently, their Sales team) I cannot recommend them enough. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer and have a tendency to ask lots of questions, I have dealt with companies in the past who have made me feel like I'm asking silly questions, but Binks had nothing but patience for me. Every member of their team I have dealt with over the years has conducted themselves in a way that showed they genuinely cared about the process and in making sure I knew what was going on at every step. I cannot recommend Binks enough, they will make you feel comfortable, they will look after you and they will genuinely care. Thank you!

I appreciated her patience, transparency and going out of the way to ensure I was in safe hands. As someone who is foreign and renting for the first time, the assurance and clear communication were crucial for me. Brianna went far and beyond in her duty and I'm most grateful to have met and liaised with her. Would highly recommend her to many others! x

11th Sep 2023 (10 mo. ago)I am so grateful to Richard and the team for all their hard work and perseverance on my nightmare of a house sale, and for turning in into a success! They found me a lovely buyers but due to some big oversights by my buyer’s agent (Chancellors) the chain was at risk of falling apart. Richard stepped in and ended up doing a lot of extra work to rescue it, even helping my buyers on various aspects of their house sale when their estate agent went AWOL. I found Richard very transparent and honest, with excellent knowledge of the local market. He updated me straight away on every development and gave me comprehensive advice throughout. The rest of the team were also organised and effective; they even knocked to check everything was ok when I left my garage door wide open since I’d told them I wouldn’t be around much. I felt the staff all really cared about the clients, properties and the other people involved in the sale. Excellent company.

They say that moving home is one of the most stressful things you can do in life but it was all made so much smoother and easier with JNP leading the way for me. Every member of staff I came into contact with were friendly and professional...Julian, Douglas, Jacqui, Nikki, Emily, all superb but not forgetting Mark Prior. Mark took on my sale and purchase and was outstanding from start to finish. Straight away, I knew I was in capable hands. I cannot fault the service Mark provided. The biggest thing that stands out for me is that he genuinely cared, and was always so accommodating. Thank you Mark. We are very happy in our new home, thank you all so much! ????

We feel the house was marketed really well at the right price resulting in multiple offers within a week. Thanks to everyone in the Oakleys team.
10th Jul 2024 (17 days ago)I am writing to express my concerns regarding the service provided by The Frost Partnership during my father's tenancy agreement for an apartment in Amersham. Initially, their approach seemed thorough, but subsequent events have led to some distressing issues. When my father was hospitalised and subsequently moved to a care home, their assistance was notably lacking. A particular point of contention is the condition of the patio at the property. At the commencement of the lease, the landlady acknowledged in writing that the patio required cleaning. Despite this, The Frost Partnership is demanding a fee of £190 for its cleaning, which seems unjust given that it was not in a satisfactory state when my father began his tenancy. It is disconcerting that they are insisting on this charge, especially considering my father's advanced age of 92 years. I urge you to consider this communication as a stern cautionary note. While initial impressions may be positive, our experience has been anything but, and it is important to note that there are numerous other estate agents available within a short walking distance. It is disappointing to have to convey such a message, but I believe it is necessary to share our experience so that others may be more informed in their dealings with The Frost Partnership.- 1st Jul 2024 (26 days ago)We have been through Tim Russ for renting and then buying in Wendover, and Laura has been fantastic both times, so supportive, efficient and considerate throughout the process, as first time buyers our experience couldn't have been better. Hopefully we won't need to move for a good while now, but if we do in the future Tim Russ will always be our number one choice, thank you for everything
18th May 2024 (10 weeks ago)Great experience with Hadlands through whom we rented our house. The property was managed by them which was an absolute blessing. Any issues we had in and around the house, got quickly picked up by them and our really supportive landlord and resolved asap. Couldn't recommend Hadlands enough. The entire team there whom I interacted with, especially Annette, were simply wonderful, helpful and always supportive. You just can't go wrong with them !

The whole process was super easy, quick and transparent! Justin was lovely and Justin had a great sense of humour which always help. I would definitely reach out to the group again for housing needs and look forward to a continued relationship.
16th Jul 2024 (11 days ago)Honestly, as a tenant in London I have had such horrible experiences with the big name estate agents that I had come to the resigned acceptance that all estate agents were of a similar ilk. However, I cannot stress enough how different of an experience Empire Chase provides. In letting our property Empire Chase has provided a bespoke service with a degree of contact and follow-through that I had believed to be impossible to see. Their service has been impeccable and their rates very competitive - suffice it to say that I am truly glad we were recommended their services.
18th Mar 2024 (19 weeks ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
