Slow to give feedback on viewings. I had to chase after a couple of days but improved when I complained. Some rushed viewings . One agent arrived and said it had to be quick and she had asked the buyer to come earlier. Another told a late buyer asked to come at 8.45am on arrival that they only had 15 minutes so it would be a quick look . We were told they had a large database of buyers but I wonder if just relying on the property listings and their database algorithms to find people was enough. They did offer us a premium listing months later when I asked what else could be done and this generated viewings . Unable to arrange one second viewing and blamed staff absence for not contacting the buyer when I rang up a week later and the buyer did not return their call. People not getting back to them happened a lot . We were never shown any evidence of their contacts with people . It's a shame as they understood the market and provided a lot of information about why viewings were sparse due to external factors.Pleasant staff with good local knowledge. We gave them a long period as it was a tough time to sell but did decide to find another agent in the end as they did not seem that proactive .... Read more

As buyers, we found Robsons to be inflexible and unprofessional. We were chain-free, serious buyers in a good position, looking at high value family homes. As we have two small children and both work full time, we were somewhat limited as to when we could view houses. However we managed to arrange it so that we could spend a few Mondays in the area, without kids in tow. There were several houses we wanted to see with Robsons but were informed (rudely) over the phone that Mondays simply weren't possible as it was their admin day. We were eventually given one viewing late on a Monday. The agent turned up late, with a cigarette dangling out of the window, struggled to find the keys and then gave us a very surly tour. We never got to see the other houses that we were VERY interested in, and ended up buying in a nearby village through a different estate agent. I'm sure demand in Amersham is high enough that they do fine, but I was shocked by how unhelpful they were given how keen and able we were to buy.... Read more

We originally let our property through Binks and the service they provided was brilliant. Having moved the property away from another local agent, we needed a managing agent to find good-quality tenants and look after the property. They did, like it was their own! Moving a few years forward, this family owned company have been lovely to deal with and have really ensured they exceed our expectations. Not only have we dealt with their lettings department but also their sales team. The Binks Sales team were equally brilliant! They were very attentive, knowledgeable, supportive and really helped us get through the sale. We experienced a very tricky sales market and complicated chain. I rented a flat through Hadlands which was managed. The property manager was courteous at all times and acted promptly to ensure any issues were resolved in a timely manner. The maintenance man was knowledgeable, efficient and very polite. I was notified in a timely manner about anything to do with rental/lettings details which ensured I was able to comply with requests easily and efficiently.
