Very poor experience as a prospective landlord renting a property which is located 90 seconds' walking time from Connells' Lichfield office. 1. I was hassled constantly by phone after my first enquiry. 2. Connells asked to change the appraisal appointment for the property at short notice from Monday to today, Saturday. No problem. Having received two text messages confirming the appointment, the last of which was at 2035 yesterday evening, I'd left home at 0800 to meet them at the apartment at 0930 today. No sign of Connells by 1000. I called them. They had failed to attend because the appointment "was unconfirmed". Rubbish: they changed the appointment themselves with my agreement, and then confirmed it twice by text. Four hours wasted. 3. I've now placed the business elsewhere.... Read more
