What turned out to be a less than straightforward purchase was handled magnificently by Kaya from stourbridge branch.
A couple of occasions we reached points where the deal could well of fallen apart but Kayas reassuring attitude and pragmatic approach made sure it got back on track.

After many years of renting with half arsed landlords/estate agents we found the most beautiful property up for let in the middle of Kingswinford, with Connells in Stourbridge.
When we first viewed the property in question we were greeted by Katie with a lovely welcoming smile, and a professional handshake, which was so pleasant!
Throughout our process with this property we have had nothing but excellent service from the apprentice Katie. She has been amazing with us. She always kept us in the loop at every single stage of our tenancy application with a simple phone call, her dedication for her clients is unmeasurable, our experience with Connells has been so easy for us with this property. Not to mention after the years of renting prior to this, we have never had such a professional, easy application process like this before. Katie went above and beyond for us the entire time and we are so grateful.
When we arrived to collect our keys for our move in date, Katie completed all of the necessary requirements quickly and we were given a move in hamper!! Filled with lots of goodies for us and our new home.
Katie is an absolute CREDIT to Connells in Stourbridge, her professionalism and duty of care for her clients is second to none, that good that I never even knew she was an apprentice until i saw it on her email when we moved in! She is an asset to Connells!

If I could give zero I would. Horrendous company. As soon as you sign the papers they don't answer calls or emails they don't care. Throughout our rental they were no help and Will was nothing but rude and abrupt to myself and my partner. Completely biased and do not care about tenants. Don't waste your time and make sure you take pictures of everything and record everything as they will use it against you.

I was asked to post a review in the office, and to be honest, I was happy with the process of dealing with James up to the point when I received the keys.
But as soon as I entered the property, there is a complete lack of professionalism. My flat, advertised as fully furnished, has no beds, mattresses, sofas. I had to sleep in travel-lodge on day 1 and then for e the subsequent week on floor, despite paying them hefty monthly rent (in advance).
No one seems to be bothered in Connells office, despite me ringing them every day. They have never called me to at least how I am getting on, where are the beds, when will they come etc.

Extremely happy with my experience with Connells when dealing with James. From the very start of my journey when I met James via FaceTime at a property I showed great interest in, it wasn’t an easy ride. That was all over when he called about a property we may have been interested in, due to living a distance away my mum and dad went to the viewing and they met will who showed great professionalism. I cannot express the professionalism from both of these men together with them making me feel at ease throughout the whole process.
We are very satisfied from the communication to the delays James made sure it was an easy process. We are a family of 5 and over the moon and gratitude for James and wills help. The journey we have been on recently has been a non stop rollercoaster and that ride is now over and we can enjoy settling in properly and getting back to great health. Thank you to you both for getting us here today.
I can also say that the professionalism did not stop into my rented accommodation. Ive spoken with James a few times to see how we are getting on in our new home and the area.

Amazing customer service by Ben Huges at Connells - Stourbridge.
Ben truly went above and beyond during my recent house move.
When all other professional agencies (I say that through gritted teeth), solicitors , My estate agents proved to be incompetent, not interested and extremely lethargic - Ben (Connells - sellers) stepped in to mitigate these disasters in terms of both financial, and delay implications.
He communicated so diligently between stakeholders, that he actually helped to minimise serious additional costs and inconvenience to my family.
I won’t divulge exactly how much he rolled up his sleeves and helped, as I don’t want to set a precedent, but he definitely saved our skins.
I was particularly impressed with his demeanour and professionalism, without sounding patronising he conducted himself in manner well above his years.
I would sincerely like to thank Ben Huges in particular. In what was a cluster, attributable to other agencies, he, acting on behalf of Connells was the only shinning light of professionalism experienced during the whole 8 month process.
I wish him luck in his career and hope that he swiftly progresses in to a more Senior role reflective of his talents.

This doesn’t deserve a one star rating but I have to give it one. The service that they give us was appalling, we were left in the dark throughout the whole process. They didn’t call us back and told us different things on the phone, and when you could get hold of them they where apparently in a meeting every time me and my partner called. They told us we had the house, therefore we started sorting everything out and got a call a week later saying that someone else has put an offer in. Even though they should have taken it off the market like they said that they were going to do. They then pushed us aside because we didn’t go with them for anything, due to us knowing we would never be able to have clear and constant communication with them. We are first time buyers and have learnt not to trust or believe Connells now. I will not be recommending Connells to any one that I know, because they are absolutely terrible.
We nearly lost out on solicitors fees and much more. We work hard for our money, so I don’t expect someone to bully me and my partner in to going with their company.

I originally purchased my first property through this Connells Branch.
So when it came to selling the property, I opted for Connells to take care of it all.
From start to finish, communication was poor. It didn't feel like the same set up, I dealt with when buying the property originally.
A few snags were hit along with the way including a dramatic bombshell of finding mine entries next to the property, which were never picked up by the solicitors dealing with the purchase original. These were recommended through Connells & were called Premier Property Lawyers. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
While dealing with the sale of the property, we went through 3 different staff members. This made things difficult with my point of contact being changed around!
Ben looked after the completion sale of the property.
Staff seemed to be under pressure & this resulted in me left feeling very numb about the transaction with Connells Stourbridge.
I wish them all the best for the future but as & when I will be looking to purchase my next property, Connells Stourbridge wouldn't be first on my list.

Evaluation of Connells role in selling 21 Tack Farm Road, Wordsley for Mr David James, Client.
As we all know, concluding the sale of my mother’s house has been a long, drawn out affair, with two nearly’. The first was aborted, following Mr Tonks’ escape from his legal and moral duties, to the darkest alley or sewer in Stourbridge. Ben worked very hard on this one, contacting me with regular information about the progress of the sale, and maybe I should have followed his suggestion to put the house back on the market immediately, but left it until late January this year. I
decided to put it on offer in early February, and Ben found another prospective buyer, a young couple, a price was agreed, and seemed to be going smoothly until Covid-19 crashed into our lives. The couple had to pull out of the deal, after one of them lost their job.
I was getting very despondent, but Ben, with great stoicism, assured me there were other buyers, and in no time at all, he successfully found a successful buyer, who went all the way, with contracts being signed and exchanged toward the end of last week. The sale was not without some rocks in the road – asbestos being one, and completing at a very inconvenient time for me – last week, as I was, and am still teaching. This was a misunderstanding between the solicitor’s office and me, whom I had to remind that I was their client, and whose best interests were being compromised.
Still, the deal went through last Friday, and I have to thank Ben for his determination in getting the sale concluded.
Always respectful and attending to my needs and queries in a very professional manner, he has kept me informed at every stage, and minute detail, bringing the sale to a mutually agreed finale.
Thank you Ben, it has been a pleasure working with you. Top man!

Ben Hughes - what can you say about this person other than he is a relaxed, professional, patient person who helped us through a very trying time. Nothing was never an issue or to much trouble, the amount of times he met us at the house for us to get estimates etc, he was always there on time. He showed us round houses a couple of times and just knew we would go for the one that we said no way to. Once he helped us agree a price with the sellers he came our informer, if it was not for Ben at every stage of the purchase we would not of known what was happening especially in the last 24 hours and on the day of moving.
When things went quite and got no response from others we asked Ben and he came back with answers within hours and before the end of the working day.
Always replied to his emails and returned calls.
He is an asset to Cornells.

While looking for our house, we were recommended to see Rosie Grainger as an option for our mortgage advisor, we had a first initial interview to run though everything, as first time buyers, and have next to no knowledge of buying a house, Rosie did nothing but put our minds at ease and made everything more understandable. We stuck with Rosie throughout the whole of our house buying process. Me and my husband are not very serious people “jokers” in fact, and we got on with Rosie as if we had known her for ages! Me and my friend received an excellent service from Connells Stourbridge when looking for a property to rent. Within a week from viewing we had the keys to our new home. After having really bad experiences with other estate agents, my roommate and I can’t thank Amy Wells and the Lettings team at Stourbridge enough for helping us find the perfect home!!
From start to finish, Amy was so welcoming and friendly, and made us feel very at ease. (All of the staff in the office were very friendly whenever we went in!) Amy reassured us when we were stressing over the credit check and referencing process, and kept us informed at every step of the way!! She was as excited as we were when we got the keys!!! We were so impressed with the speed in which our application was dealt with; we viewed the property on the Friday and collected the keys the following Thursday!

It really is extremely difficult to sell a house however Tom and John @ Connells were very good throughout. they dealt with my frustrations (out of their hands) and calmed me down many times. They listened to my rants and re-assured me during this process. As a whole Connells got me the best deal on my house and the service was excellent from start to finish. Would advise people to sell through them and would consider using them in the future.

Joke company with stupidly high fees for selling with low valuations and bullish tactics to sell mortgages. I don't "have" to see your mortgage advisor before viewing other properties either you imbeciles, even after I told you in conversation I was a financial reporter for a reputable newspaper. I'll be lodging a formal complaint with your head office and writing publicly about the experience.
Sold with an online agent in two weeks for £18,500 more than was suggested by these clowns. Sale completed 8 weeks later. Date of sale agreed: 03/04/2018.
For readers' information, it is NOT a legal requirement whatsoever that you go and see their "financial advisor", who is just a salesperson reading off a script and will sell you products to THEIR benefit, not yours. ID and proof of funding can be provided to your solicitor, they are not legally obliged to take copies of anything.
