My work life is generally very busy, and I do not have the time to research or the resources to ensure a proper let of my property. I had made an offer to buy a house through them, I made an offer that was accepted and the mortgage was accepted too, then all of a sudden they said someone made a higher bid then I kept increasing my bid and sent them in writing that if anyone makes a higher offer I still want the house. I showed them a £60,000 deposit. They kept saying after every bid (every hour) to show the deposit again even though the asking price only increased by £1000 each time. The completion took 8 months so it is completely disgraceful that they humiliated me by repeatedly asking me to prove that I had the money even after seeing my deposit. This is completely unacceptable, he gave a rent evaluation of £750, the rent evaluation for a 1 bedroom flat in the neighborhood was £650 which does not make any sense. The buyer of the house has now got the house on rent for £1150. This is the reason why he gave such a low mortgage.
