Nowadays all agents can promote a house online and get lots of people to visit.
It’s at offer stage and beyond where the value of an agent becomes really important.
Andrew Grant acted on the sale of our house. I liked how Andrew Grant Stourbridge presented local properties and I felt a lot of confidence in Vicky’s advice on the local market. Her colleagues in the office Stephen and Rebecca were always very efficient and helpful.
Our sale became very complicated at exchange due to problems down the chain, and at times it felt like the sale would fall through. Vicky really impressed at this point, in her tenacity, judgement and negotiation skills. Without her intervention at several key stages, our sale/ purchase could have fallen through.
I would have no hesitation in recommending the Stourbridge branch of Andrew Grant to someone selling their property.
Very poor communication from the sales team. Left several voicemails on the office phone and calls never returned. Contacted through the online chat initially to view a property and nothing heard. Totally incompetent.
Really good agency, they are very quick answering questions and have a very good telephone manner. Any issues they have come to me with solutions. Would definitely recommend!
It has been six months since my last dealing with Elliot Oliver but I still feel very angered by the way we were dealt with by this company to be fair and honest if we did have a problem during our time then it was dealt with professionally and quickly, it was not until we had given our notice that the attitude toward us changed.
My wife was several months pregnant and the agent turned up to conduct a viewing that was not confirmed whilst my wife was in the bath. On letting themselves in and discovering this you would think that they would make there apologies and leave but not so instead whilst my heavily pregnant wife was trying to dress herself they stood outside the bedroom and asked if it was ok to have a look inside.
We also had some major issues on our departure, despite having the house professionally cleaned and the oven professionally cleand we choose not to use the recommended agents of Elliot Oliver as we had found better pricing from professional outfits elsewhere. On the checkout date I attended the property myself only to be told to leave and come back in a couple of hours once the inventory process had been completed.
On my return extremely minor points were raised all of which could have been resolved during the checkout If I had been present during the process, a bit of dust here and a cobweb there was pointed out and a bill of over £100 was proposed as we hadn't used the preferred supplier, ther were various other small issues as a dent in the wall from a door handle which had been filled and painted blinds in rooms not removed that were left in situ for the next tenant but both were not to an apparent sufficient standard.
The whole process resulted in a series of emails and battles for common sense to prevail, whilst still having over £250 deducted from us a lot less than the original £900 demanded left a very bitter taste, please be your own judge but a very unpleasant experience for us.

Sarah was very helpful and worked very quickly to cater for my needs. Done everything she said she would. Would recommend anytime.
The worst experience I have ever had with an estate agent.
We spent the first 4 months in the property with no heating, and this was when the country was hitting minus temperatures. And from there on they have been an absolute nightmare.
We are currently vacating a property and they have been so much hassle, and such a lack of support. Nobody wants to pick up the phone and speak to you directly. Nobody wants to calmly ease your concerns. But everybody wants to email ambiguous statements and not answer any questions. There is no sense of urgency from them and they do as little as possible when they are making little profit from you.
My husband was provided with misleading information at the final inspection and I am just overall upset with their service and overwhelmed with their lack of compassion.
Since going through this process with them my health has suffered, I haven't slept in weeks and my weight has plummeted dramatically. They have caused such a culture of stress through their narrow arrangements of customer service.
I am pretty sure the good reviews on here are fake because I certainly didn't receive what they others have!
I purchased a house which was being sold through Billingham Cooke estate agents last year. I was incredibly impressed with the integrity and professionalism which was shown by the staff which I dealt with. They made the the transaction effortless and did a great job at keeping us informed. This is a company which is going places and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending them to other people.
Was given wrong information from Richard at Billingham Cooke regarding full deposit being released. The whole company rely on applying heavy fees to anything they can and no doubt get 'kick backs' from everything. Spent 2k on recarpeting the house as soon as we moved in. Spent a week living there unable to store food because a fridge was hard wired into the wall and had to wait for electrician to come out to sort. We left a 12 month old fire place for the new tenant as an act of good will and were very good tenants. If you're looking at a nice house and Billingham Cooke are the estate agents I'd avoid (unless you like wasting money on fees). We paid £700 for a relisting fee and handled all the viewings ourselves. Had to give keys in 3 days before for inspections but were still charged for those days (even though we didn't have access to the property) - they are far from amicable and take no pride in anyones interests other than their own. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Buying or selling a house can be one of the most stressful experiences of your life, so you need to pick an estate agent who know what they are doing and who communicate. I can honestly say that Britt, Louis and Chris have done this all the way through our time with them. We would recommend this team 100%. Really happy with the outcome of our buying process. Many thanks all.
Quick enough to take our money but when it comes to any issues or full services they don't even bother that much...
We used AP Morgan to sell our house and the service we received has been exceptional. Joe is very professional and certainly does exactly what he says he’s going to do and more. Many thanks to Alaina who kept us informed every step of the way.
They sold the house very quickly and got above the asking price.
If I was staying local I would definitely use AP Morgan again without hesitation.
Many thanks to the whole Team.
We also used the online solicitor and it was so easy and hassle free to do compared to a high street solicitor
The worst company I have ever dealt with in my entire life!! Estate agents have a reputation of being bad but these guys actually live up to it. Failed to sell my property, failed to in customer service and care and failed in thier attempt to take me to court to try and get commission for a property they didn't sell!! Trying every bullying tactic! Threatening phone calls! Debt agency!! Court summons!! Which they failed!! And for what? Nothing but to cause misery and stress for no reason!! AVOID AP MORGAN will never recommend AP Morgan to anyone ever!!
