Just wanted to say myself and family have been very happy with the support we have been given by Hunters for selling my Mum's house. Nothing was too much trouble and always kept us up to date of progress. I particularly want to mention Jemma who has been working with us from the beginning. She has been amazing !! Always had very contact between the new buyer and ourselves. Even when the first sale fell through she had it re advertised and sold again by the next week !! Landlords should avoid this letting agent.
3 months into dealing with an eviction and still no end in sight, I'm not confident that the matter will be resolved with any haste due to poor communication with Hunters and their solicitors which is delaying the sale of the property and costing me so certainly won't be using Hunters as a letting agent in the future, nor will I be selling any properties with them.

My son put an offer on a house in the Riddlesdon area which was accepted and sale greed via HUNTERS SHIPLEY. A request was made for proof of deposit. Rebecca was informed that it was from his existing house sale. This was made via email on Friday. On the following Tuesday (2 working days later) my son received a further email at 17.31 saying that there had been a further offer on the property which had been accepted.Hunters closed at 17.30 so could not be contacted.There was no communication at all especially via mobile phone which Hunters had for my son.Solicitors had been instructed.The conduct of Hunters Shipley leaves a lot to be desired as at least my son should have been informed of the offer and been given the opportunity to match or better as a sale had been agreed.
Please take not of the above if you are thinking of buying a house through Hunters Shipley as your hopes of your dream home could be taken away at any time without you first being informed.

Bought a property that was advertised by this outfit a couple of years ago. Their professionalism and efficiency struck me during the purchase.
Fast forward two years and it was time to sell... Decided to go with Hunters Shipley and it was the best decision I made throughout the sale.
Their light touch is just light enough to allow the process to take its course but not too light to avoid slippage. I cannot recommend this outfit strongly enough.
Instruct Hunters and worry about the 1000s of other things on your plate because they'll take care of everything as if they were doing it for themselves.

Contacted in order to arrange a viewing of a property by email. Abrupt and unprofessional communication in return not addressing the actual query we had sent. Did not telephone me to discuss as requested. Informed the estate agent on the first call we eventually had that we had a decision in principle in excess of the sum the property was on the market for, which could be provided, and we would like to arrange a viewing. Return call later again which again made the process difficult. In the end, decided against the viewing as there are plenty of other properties in the area for in and around the same sum, and it should not be this difficult from the outset to arrange a viewing (and gave concerns as to how the rest of the process would be if even arranging a viewing was this difficult). Attempted to use "Covid" as a reason for the issues. However, we are viewing properties in the area with a range of different estate agents and have had no such issues. Would rather deal with estate agents who have client care and professionalism in mind.

Booked in a viewing, rang to confirm was running slightly late. Estate agent the failed to turn up (waited 20 minutes) proceeded to knock on the door to speak to the tenant who informed us an offer had been made and accepted. Estate agent failed to tell us this, joke of an estate agent and would never use the Saltaire one again.

After going through possibly some of the worst estate agents in West Yorkshire in my previous properties I found myself under the wing of Bentleys and specifically Nichola.
Once negotiations started I found myself in my new property in two weeks and couldn't ask for a better letting agent.

I have found Bentleys to be very professional and helpful in marketing my property in Baildon. Today I dealt with a lady called Nichola who I believe is new - she was very thorough, updating me extensively with feedback from viewings I’d had today and providing recommendations on how to make my property more appealing to buyers.
