First Class Service from Jason at Ellis & Co who found me my dream garden flat and made the deal happen (despite a somewhat challenging sale / purchase process with some unavoidable delays).

So impressed with Jason's professional, efficient, friendly, courteous and knowledgeable manner throughout the entire process and not only did he always ensure I was updated but he also facilitated my builders/surveyors and nothing was too much trouble.

I had a great service from Jason who assisted me in the sale of my flat. Very professional and very communicative in making sure I was being kept up-to-date on viewings till when they found me a buyer. Despite a challenging conveyance, I received a great service and I was always been made aware of the buyer's requests which ensured an open communication channel with her so that she could be kept engaged till the end of a very lengthy conveyance. I would recommend Ellis & Co to anyone and would use their service again in the future!

Shocking. After several months, and doing everything advised, only one set of buyers viewed the property. Took a large hit on price to get the deal. Then.... nothing. We were so unimpressed we disinstructed them. Over the next 9 months, while the buyers struggled to sell their own property, we kept contact with them, monitored progress and built a rapport. Not one single call from Martins. They only took any interest in contacting our solicitors when they realised WE'D mananged to close the deal ourselves and were close to completion. Then, of course, they wanted their money.

Terrible for renting from. Although the house itself was decent, we had issues with the heating during the winter as well as problems with the hot water, and kept sending emails only to have them ignored or be fobbed off with a "we will send someone around soon", only to hear nothing for weeks.
Contacted the landlords to find that they weren't being told by Martin and Co about the problems we were having, so from that point on we dealt with them directly. The landlords later told us they intended to switch to a lettings agent that actually helped their tenants (given that was part of what they were paying for).
Pretty poor service from this agent overall, from both the tenant and the landlord perspective.

Best estate agents in the area.

We used them for our sale and received excellent service and customer care. We'd dealt with many of the Old Town agencies over the course of our house move and the difference with Martin & Co was immediately apparent. Highly recommend Sandra who sold our property swiftly and with confidence. We really appreciated the openness and regular contact.
