We are currently undergoing severe stress due to our dealings with this company. We are extremely unhappy with the handling of our deposit; they have failed to provide a clear timeframe for its return and we feel exploited by their lack of transparency. Communication has been incredibly poor throughout this process. It is frustrating to be left in the dark when it involves your own money. I strongly urge anyone considering their services to think twice before moving forward with them. The only positive note I can share is my appreciation for a former staff member, Rana. She was incredibly helpful, professional, and a pleasure to work with, but unfortunately, the current management and processes fall far short of that standard.

Ellis and Co Bethnal Green team - Firstly to Ashley Thompson delivering a high standards of professionalism and service. He takes proactive actions, goes above and beyond in dealing with all queries and instructions. He is brilliant in communicating updates promptly.
Also kudos to Kier and all the team members in the branch for all their continued professionalism and hard work. Not forgetting Andy James who also deserves a massive credit for managing a brilliant team in the background.
Absolutely fantastic team and highly recommend to landlords and tenants alike

Sales Manager Paul was consistently helpful and proactive in getting the sale of a family property over the line in not straightforward circumstances. He always kept in touch and promptly returned calls and messages. Right from the start and throughout, he gave sound advice and demonstrated a willingness to go the extra mile to make the sale happen.

We had a great experience with Ellis & Co so far. We had been looking for a house with a garden that is pet friendly. The house we found was lovely but unfortunately full with Carpet . When I mentioned it to the Realtor Emilia she then went out of her way to support us and change the Carpet into Wood Flooring which made this lovely house into our new home :-) we moved in last Weekend and are looking forward to a healthy long term relationship together.

?? Avoid this letting agent at all costs!
They advertised a property that turned out to be completely uninhabitable. On the surface, it looked like a refurbished flat — but there was no running water, which meant no toilet facilities either. This was documented on the check-in inventory, and the management company reassured us that a plumber would be sent.
The plumber attended but couldn’t fix the issue. We later discovered there was a major fault with the water tank, meaning the water couldn’t be turned on at all. We were forced to cope without water and without toilet facilities for five days.
We’ve now moved out because the situation became unbearable.
What’s even more disappointing is the letting agent’s response. They claim they are “let only” and rely solely on information provided by the landlord. The landlord deemed the property habitable, and the agent simply accepted that — refusing to take any responsibility. Instead of mediating or trying to help resolve the situation, they provided contradictory information and washed their hands of the problem.
You can judge a company by how they handle issues, and this experience showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability.
?????? Do not sign any tenancy agreements with this agent.
?????? Avoid them if you value basic living conditions and professional service
