I had a good impression at the beginning when renting a flat in city center, then on moving there were lots of issues with lights and switches with a broken chair, simple things that should’ve been fixed prior to me moving in. I have reported these issues on May and still haven’t been fixed until today, they have the worst property management team you can ever imagine.
The sales and viewing team are nice though.
For my next rent I will use a different company

Entwistle Green, are a great letting agency, all of our properties were shown to us by Emily who was super honest and understanding as well as helpful in helping us find what we were looking for! Trying to get viewings can be difficult as they are so popular but that’s just because they’re one of few good options in Preston! But once you’re on their radar if they have something for you they’ll give you a call. Cathy was super helpful she dropped our keys off and talked us through the final paper work on the day of move in!

Not had the best experience so far as a potential tenant.
Had the staff member (abbey/abby?) who showed me around for a viewing go back to the office and say my partner has a bunch of ccj's which was never stated. He has one which will be gone in 2 weeks and was over a disputed contract . He also wasnt meant to be added to the tenancy. It was purely for myself for university with him staying sometimes. So this should never of been an issue. This was ignored too.
At the viewing i was told i would need 6 months upfront rent OR a guarantor. I called nearly a week later after they hadnt bothered to update me on anything since as they promised they would. Spoke to cathy who i originally spoke to, to be told about the previous lies mentioned. Informed them that i had a guarantor ready to go, to be asked if i could as a student get 6 months rent advance ASWELL.
I also inquired about multiple other properties to be given the run around, told i could view them this week, to now be told it will be a long time before any of them could be viewed as they are "waiting for tenants to leave ".
After this phonecall i was told by the lady i spoke too that she would speak to the landlord and call me back. This again hasnt happened.
Quite frankly just feel like ive been given the run around by a company who couldnt care about perspective tenants. Looking at going with a different estate agent instead at this point as this company seem to just not want custom ???????????. Will update if the situation changes or my experience improves though i highly doubt it will.
The fact the staff think its acceptable to gossip and lie about people is utterly disgusting in my opinion. Sat here thinking about it i dont think the opinion or experience will ever change as i quite frankly have no desire to work with a company that thinks this is professional behaviour.
Id recommend any other estate agents in preston bar this one.

I was looking for a Flat in a specific place, the girl I originally spoke to remembered and when one came up she rang and told me, being in Sales myself I was really impressed with her efficiency and thought that Entwistle Green Would be a great firm to deal with, however I was very wrong!!
It was months before I could get to see the flat and the present occupier showed me round in about 2 minutes, it was very quick and very dark too, even though it was light outside all the blinds were closed and it was very dark inside, it became apparent why when i moved in as all the blinds were broken, the screws that were holding them in would come out and the blind drop off if you tried to open them, and if you did manage to open them, you couldnt close them again as all the slats were bent and you had to arrange each one individually by hand, even though it was dark and i was made to feel like i was intruding and rushed around the property, i noticed that all the door handles were hanging off, and the place was filthy, with mould in the bathroom, however it was where i wanted and i thought that the flat would be nice once they had cleaned it up, Entwistles assured me that it would be thoroughly cleaned and brought up to a habitable standard with the door handles being fixed and everything checked to make sure it was working, i took them at their word and in good faith paid the deposit, when I got the keys and the Entwistles Rep met me at the property i was dismayed to find that nothing at all had been done, I told her that I was promised it would have been cleaned and all the faults fixed, and in not so many words but with several anecdotes she implied that if i didn't like it then they could rent it to someone else,The flat was disgusting, the toilets were filthy, bathrooms disgusting, door handles still hanging off, as were the blinds, the toilet wasn't even fastened to the floor and wouldn't flush, the cooker was just horrific, the fridge smelled awful and was filthy, there was an exposed wire just hanging down in the airing cupboard, this turned out to be for the boost water heater which had just been disconnected as it was burnt out and blowing fuses, the lights were missing in the en suite and extractor fan not working, laminate peeling off and cracked on the bathroom units, kitchen cupboard doors were hanging off, the drawers were off their runners and were coming apart, as were the doors and drawers on the bedroom wardrobes, i was only supplied with 1 key to the front door, and was told i could only have another key if someone else was living there with me, I quote "1 renter 1 Key"
The place was too dirty to move in and despite numerous calls to Entwistle Green nothing was done about getting the flat cleaned or the problems sorted, I was told and again I quote "We can only fix the doors and the blinds if we can retain some of the previous renters security deposit, so i started cleaning it myself, it took me a month working at nights and weekends to get it cleaned so i had to keep my other Flat and pay two lots of rent, when i was cleaning it I could hear a drip, i thought this was the cistern filling up, but it turned out to be a leak in the pipes to the toilet, the leak was inaccessible as the cupboard round the toilet had been previously broken and the panel that should just clip out had been clued in, this leak occurred on a saturday morning and even though it was obvious it had been leaking for ages and there was a stain on the wall and the wooden flooring had warped i was told to turn off the water as it was my responsibility, i also had to report the problem on line and they dont have a plumber working weekends, the plumber was eventually contacted on the Tuesday, so i was without running water for 5 days,

I'm in the process of selling a property with Entwistle Green. I bought the house 6 years ago from another estate agent (won't name and shame); the difference in experience is night and day. Currently sold STC, meaning that to all intents and purposes the job from Entwistle is practically complete. I'll update this review if needs be but right now I have nothing but praise.
Over the course of the last couple weeks I've had the pleasure to interact with Louise, Stephen and Chris. The advice I was given initially was absolutely spot on, in terms of what price to list at and what to expect. I was told the property 'was a credit to me' and that they doubted I'd have to go below asking price. I ended up agreeing the sale for above asking.
Everyone knows that this is a tough market at the moment. Admittedly I'd done the right things before calling Entwistle Green in ensuring the property stood out, but everything to do with sales strategy came from them and they hit it out the park.
It's not just the result that counts, though; it's the process. Not only are they a very professional team but it's obvious they communicate between themselves exceptionally well. Just a few hours after every batch of viewings, I'd get a call from Chris, who hadn't personally conducted them, to give me an update on how things went, communicating any offers as well as general impressions/feedback. There was one time only one person was in the office, someone I hadn't dealt with before, and their ability to provide the same level of feedback was identical to Chris'. This is a team that works as a team to deliver impeccable levels of service.
The quality of the property, coupled with the pricing and viewings strategy meant the house sold just 8 days after listing. And again - the sale was above asking price. To achieve this in a tough market speaks volumes about the team at Entwistle.
This was my first time selling a property and I made clear at every stage that this is their profession and I'm therefore not going to contradict their advice based on my own personal feelings (that doesn't mean I didn't press for the odd justification though!). To do that requires humility and trust; trust that was quickly won and was clearly not misplaced. I can't recommend highly enough.

Overall good experience with the service. Very good communication and quick viewings however viewings can be rigid around their availability rather than yours but we were also able to get a virtual viewing for the flat we have moved into. Believe there has been some poor/mixed communication between the letting agent and landlord and sadly when we moved into our flat it was the first day we had viewed this and although the flat was tidy it was not clean and multiple issues which we had raised with the landlord immediately. Unsure of where the mixed communication comes from or how it has happened. Overall though the service have been responsive, helpful, regular updates and were able to help us move fast and were flexible with virtual viewings.

I walked into Entwistle Green this morning and I'm not going to deny I was scared. I was instantly made very welcome and I dealt with two ladies. I didn't get the first lady's name, she was so friendly and helpful and then she asked Louise to give me an insight. Louise was busy but literally dropped everything she was in the middle of to assist me, again friendly and helpful. I felt that that I mattered. If they made me feel like this, I wouldn't hesitate to discuss your property needs, whether buying, selling or letting, this team cares.

I'd been unsuccessfully searching for a rental in Lytham St Anne's area while I was arranging to buy a bungalow there, for several weeks. It was suggested that I get in touch with Entwistle Green who had a couple of apartments advertised to let in Victoria Mansions on Preston Dock. From contacting Cathy Conroy at Entwistle Green then arranging a viewing with her to confirmation that I was accepted took only a couple of days. The whole process was handled professionally and gave me the freedom to concentrate on finding then buying my new house which I have now done. Although Cathy was my main initial contact, on the few occasions since where I needed more information from Entwistle Green, her colleagues were equally knowledgeable and helpful.

I cannot believe how difficult it is to rest in the UK, I am form SA and have owned most my properties so never really had to deal with rentals. after much pain Entwistle Green Sales and Letting Agents Preston came through for me and found me a place to say. I was referred to them by someone else who had dealing with them in the past and all the positive things I was told are true. I would like to give kudos to Klaudia and Kathy specifically. I can’t recommend the staff at Entwistle Green enough! We put an offer in on a house roughly 2 months ago and today we got to pick up the keys to our first home! As we’re first time buyers we had a lot of questions and everyone was willing to help! Found me a tenant with guarantor but the tenant wrecked the property and the guarantor would not pay up. It turned out that the Guarantor had not been properly referenced and lacked the means to pay up. The complaints procedure was an absolute farce. When it came to pursuing Entwistle Green for the losses, they could not even say what their real business name was. Avoid!

My property was on the market with 2 estate agents for 7 months, I had enough and decided to cancel one of the estate agents and gave Entwistle Green the opportunity to sell my property.
A friendly gentleman called Stephen came to my house and took some pictures and put the property on Rightmove and Zoopla the following day.
Stephen was confident that my property will sell very quickly and could not believe how long it was on the market for.
Nicola was the my contact from Entwistle Green I can honestly say she was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole sale process.
Nicola contacted me the following day and arranged 5 viewings on the same weekend the property was advertised.

Wow. I am absolutely aghast at the treatment I just received on the phone. I was calling them back to follow up on a viewing appointment and got bullied and belittled by the agent on the phone (Cathy I believe was her name). I don't think I have ever been treated so badly on the phone for "proactively" calling a company wanting to become their "customer". She kept on saying she couldn't understand a word I said and that it was all, in her own words, muffled up. If anything, I feel that it was nothing but her sheer inability to comprehend a dialect that wasn't local to her. Having worked in customer service for years, I am utterly disgusted to see that people with zero professionalism and an outlook like that get to keep their jobs. By the end of the call, it was pretty clear that she couldn't understand me at first because she never let me finish a sentence! And this is the same company that finds it legitimate to send me unsolicited Text messages with new properties that become available. Preposterous!

unfortunately my experience with a member of staff Charlotte was not very pleasant. I was interested in buying a flat as a first time buyer, I had my mortgage in principle and was about to go ahead and make an offer until Charlotte became very rude verbally on the phone adamant that she did not work for myself but the vendor. I stated that the estate agent was there to help both parties the vendor and the buyer and she was furious, she would not stop attempting to argue with myself. Review of Ben Barker, Mortgage Consultant. I cannot fault Ben and the mortgage advice service he offers. He is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. He took a lot of stress out of finding and applying for the best mortgage deal for me. He was calm and reassuring when things did not go to plan (due to events out of anyone's control). He also competently and kindly answered any questions I had, some of which were probably a bit silly as I did not really know what I was doing!!! He was easy to contact via phone or email and always called back if I needed to leave a message for him. Totally recommended.

Where i live i have a neighbour upstairs, suddenly a pipe in their house has broke and it's leaking into the property I rent. I called the agency and the property management team, but the management team does not respong to phone calls and all the agency does is keep forwarding me the property management team, I've valled at least 5 times, but still no response.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! TERRIBLE COMPANY WITHIN THE PRESTON OFFICE!
I contacted this company in regards to letting out my property from the very beging they were rude and short on the phone. I stupidly sent the keys for the houses regardless and from that point I heard nothing for over a week on whether the property had been looked at or not and everytime I called there was nobody available to speak to from the lettings department. When I finally got through after calling multiple times on different days to say we had gone with somebody else and I wanted the keys returning I was told they would be sent. Two weeks later still no keys, when I called the office they laughed and said they forgot and would send them tracked and signed for, which whenever I've used that service takes less than 48 hours. However, another two weeks later and still not received the keys to my house!! I called the office again and they very rudely I was told they were sent a few days ago so when I suggested it's not signed and tracked then? They had no information and said she was told they had been sent a few days ago. At this point they have had the keys for over five weeks to my house with no apology once and each time it has taken multiple calls with no answer or when you get through to someone they say there is nobody for the lettings department in the office. If like me you have worked hard to put everything financially and physically into doing a property up to sell or let do not trust your precious property in the hands of the Preston entwistle and green. Nill customer service skills and extremely difficult to reach and hugely unreliable!!

Waste of time - they sold the property fairly early on but Buyers pulled out and the first thing we knew about it was the phone call asking if someone could view the property!
Apparently the buyers pulled out 4 weeks previously and neither us nor our solicitor knew about this. Am currently paying 2 mortgages whilst the new sale of the property goes through (with another agent) . I’m very happy to be with Entwistle Green. From the beginning I have felt like valued customer. The process of renting out is easy and Louis from the branch more than helpful. She is also very good laugh, every conversation is like with good old friend full of giggles .
The repairs reporting App is brilliant . No hassle , no need to ring the busy offices what so ever. App- click click click problem reported / problem sorted. Communication with Helen Imms absolutely fantastic. She is more than happy to help , always sends email update about the repair progress.
The only small downside is the charge of the contract renewal but my bad I missed that while reading the contract .

I'm disgusted. We reported mould coming through the walls months ago and they've sent out two "surveyors" to look at the house. They both did the exact same thing. One report never came to light and the second guy came to do the exact same job, only to tell us to "wait for rain and see if your gutter is overflowing." I'm sorry but I have black mould growing inside a bedroom, inside the wardrobes and on the furniture. I have orange pus like substance leaking from my walls and wallpaper falling off the polystyrene layer you've put underneath.
Everyone in this house has suffered health problems and ridiculous charges for gas and electric to attempt to heat this sodden cave house up throughout winter. When I spoke to you the first time, I was told "move your furniture away from the walls and put everything central in your room." Yes, I'll live in an obstacle course thanks very much.
The second time, you were waiting for the landlord to get back to us about a damp proofing that's obviously not worked.
Do you not care about your tenant's health or wellbeing because right now we're being charged a stupid amount to live in something a squatter would turn their nose up at. The fact I'm having to email environmental health to ask them to come and help us is ridiculous and you should be ashamed at allowing your office to let this continue.

The team at Entwistle Green in Preston have been very professional and supportive through a difficult sale. I chose them because they conduct the viewing themselves without employing people to carry out the viewings. I thought that would be more helpful to prospective purchasers to have all the information to hand with a knowledgeable sales team.
Although the sale has taken 5 months to complete, I'm very pleased with the service they offered and also that I chose to employ a professional agency rather than an online company, despite the difference in fee. Money well spent.

I would NEVER rent a property from this appalling company again in my life!!!
My reason is that i was asked to move out early after handing my notice, as the new tenant (whom I personally had show around the property) & it was agreed that I would receive a proportion of my months rent back. Leaving date of 16/07/2016 was agreed on 09/07/2016 - current date is 19/07/2016 & the only message I receive from the BRANCH MANAGER is verbal via another department stating that "it should be in your bank by Friday"
They are absolute SCANDALS! I shall be seeking citizens advice IMMEDIATELY

Had a disturbing experience with this letting agent, requested a number of times to be removed from a tenancy, they said it had to be sent in writing, when they received it they promised me on the phone everything would be sorted out and not to worry as there calls are recorded. 3 months on, after receiving a letter informing us we are in arias with this property that we are now no longer a tenant for we called up to see what was going on. We were answered by a MANAGER who 'cannot find' our written letters. When I asked for the call recordings she said she would sort it out, I then called the head office to complain and they informed us none of the calls are recorded in that preston office! Contradicting what other members of staff and managers have told us in the past. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, very unprofessional staff were rude over the phone very unhelpful and didn't know what they were doing! Bunch of school girls trying to run an estate agent.

Was planning on dual marketing as my property is in Kirkham and with the agency being in Preston I thought it might be easier with a local agent, but the team at Entwistle Green assured me they could let it and proved themselves right, happy landlord. Fantastic service, they had let my property before the other agent even came out to value it.
