When I was choosing an Estate Agent to sell my home in Yeovil I had a plethora of choice - after seeing the big chains, I decided I’d speak to some independents. I am very pleased I did - Paul came round and walked me through their process, having never sold a house before I was not sure what to expect. He explained the process in detail and his expertise set my mind at rest, which the others had not.
I cannot thank Paul and his team enough for all their knowledge and help in getting me through process (solicitors are not the easiest beasts to deal with) and I am so pleased that they dealt with a majority of the chasing and endless nonsense that my buyers solicitors threw my way!
If you want to feel like your house sale is as important to the estate agent as it is to you then you should get in contact with Paul and the team in Yeovil, I would definitely use them again if I was in Yeovil, I recommend them and EweMove.

I had never sold a house before and only came into one via inheritance so it was very new to me, this was made worse by the face that I do not live near the property in question.
Paul and his team were amazing throughout, always easily available and very proactive in helping with remedial work to the property and making themselves available for viewings etc. Paul seems to know someone for everything and was able to arrange inspections, builders, damp experts etc to address issues with the property without any fuss.
They even took the meter readings for me right at the end as it was something I had forgotten to do.
I would very highly recommend, it is a shame they don't operate where I live! I would love to use them again, thanks Paul.

I recently sold and purchased via Ewe move and I cannot rate them highly enough. It is a big decision when choosing an estate agent and with many to choose from, it can be a bit of a minefield.
Paul and the team have been brilliant from start to finish. They have been very responsive, friendly, efficient and knowledgeable. I received regular updates and nothing was too much hassle! This includes Paul going out of his way (after office hours) having locked ourselves out the flat!
We hit a challenging time, what with the uncertainty with the market/government etc. but despite this, I am very happy with the outcome and service received.

I first met Paul when I purchased a BTL apartment that he and his team were selling. My wife Sue and I recently looked for a property to rent in Yeovil, and found one advertised by EweMove. We contacted them on Friday and spoke to Paul who arranged a viewing of the property for the Monday. We were met at the property by Yasmin who showed us around, spending over 45 minutes with us, answering questions and explaining how EweMove manage the property. (Our previous experiences of viewings was the agent rushing us through in 10 mins or less).
We agreed to rent the property and Paul initiated the necessary financial and identity checks which were completed in 4/5 days, (despite a delay of about 2days caused by my employer!). Yasmin in the meantime completed a very thorough inventory report. Paul completed the tenancy agreement and we made arrangements to collect the keys on the Saturday, less than 2 weeks after agreeing the rental. Paul and Yasmin are very friendly, helpful and obviously efficient throughout the process and we would strongly recommend anyone looking for property in Yeovil to give them a call.

Throughout our lengthy relationship (it's taken us a while to work out where we're going and what we're doing) with EweMove (especially Paul) I cannot fault them on anything. At times I have to remind myself that this is business! Their understanding and patience is above and beyond.
Within the last three weeks we finally bit the bullet, and just like that, the incredible professionalism of the team kicked in. Speedy isn't the word. We made a decision on an offer in just two days! Compared to the agents 'on the other side', this company are gold compared to tin. Other agencies may live up to the stereotype of estate agents, EM do not.

today I visited the business with my sister Enquiry for a 2-bed house, the first agent was very nice, the other agent was very rude, because when she told us that the landlord did not want to rent to families with children I was a bit annoyed saying that the girls are 17 and 12 so they are no longer small kids ... the so-called LADY stood up threateningly with a very poor attitude, interrupting me and saying "can I talk, can I talk, let me talk?" muttering that the house is too small because the young girl will be adult one day so the house will be too small…
First of all, you don't treat customers in that way...And then sorry but I have to decide if the house is small or not. Anyway forget about the house
I do not understand if they treat all customers like this or if she has allowed herself to treat us like this because we are not English.

This review is for Ewemove in Yeovil, Somerset. I currently am a guarantor for my daughter who rents a flat beneath one of Ewemove’s tenants. For months she has been complaining (along with other tenants in the block) about their tenant who plays unacceptably loud music all day and all night. He has been reported to the council yet Ewemove have done little about it. They say they have spoken to him and he denies doing it even though there is video evidence. From our experience with Ewemove in Yeovil, they seem happy to let flats out but don’t seem to care about other tenants when there are complaints. This situation has affected my daughter’s mental health with constant noise torture until 3am which Ewemove have disregarded.

Please do not belittle the situation by implying that the complaint about your tenant only comes from one person. It is multiple tenants. According to her letting agent, they themselves have received and heard of more complaints (one of which is from someone that does not even live in a flat close to your tenant) and many of the neighbours have shared with each other that they too have made complaints. If this has not filtered through to you it is no wonder if they feel it will fall on to deaf ears, which is how it feels. I understand that there is a due process, but please do not underestimate the amount of harm and unhappiness your tenant is causing. This is people’s lives we are talking about and how would you feel having to live below a tenant who plays extraordinary and unacceptably high levels of music and shouting into the small hours, every day?

I can’t recommend EweMove enough. I was dealing with Paul for the sale of my house and thought the whole processes from him/they were extremely professional throughout and I found Paul to be refreshingly honest and straight talking which in my previous experience isn’t always the case.
The attention to detail is another stand out feature of this business and can safely say they have the best floor plans design than any other Estate Agent. The level of detail they provide is extremely high with the 3D plan a great touch.

We decided not to sell the house, but if we had, then this company was going to be our choice to market the property.

I cannot recommend Paul, Anita and all the team at EweMove in Yeovil highly enough.
Prior to hearing about Ewemove I had my property listed for over 3 months with very little interest from potential buyers (and the actual agents themselves). I listed the property with Paul and was under offer within 3 weeks and the sale completed within 90 days.
EweMove were an integral part of this process and kept the momentum of the sale going throughout the whole process. Great local knowledge of the market, great communication and advice, very affable and simply wants to do the best for his clients both selling and purchasing.
Having had the misfortune of dealing with a nationwide estate agent that just goes through the motions of selling a property without the care and attention provided by local firms like EweMove I would urge anyone thinking of selling to go small and get the best possible care and attention they provide.

I would highly recommend EweMove! Nicky, who comes and does the inspections is really nice and deals with any issues we have extremely quickly. Paul and his team are quite the exception in the world of estate agency. I've never had such honest and helpful conversations about the property we are taking to market. He was realistic about pricing and the communication was fantastic. To feel that the agent is 'on your side' is vital and previous experiences have felt more like agents have been less than honest to gain the business and tie you into a contract. Ewemove is a refreshing change. Use them! Having now moved and had time to reflect I maintain that Ewemove, specifically Paul and Anita, were the wisest decision we've ever made when undertaking a 'move'. The quality and attention to detail in Anita's photographs were an incontrovertible factor in how quickly the property sold (two days!) Thereafter, Paul's communication and 'gobetweening' was the reason that we felt less stressed than previously when selling a house. (Paul may dispute this!) Even in the last few days before exchange when things got a little tricky further down the chain, Paul kept his cool and ensured that the wrinkles were smoothed and tempers calmed. We would not hesitate to recommend these guys-you get a first-class service and anyone that can give you unfettered feeling of trust and confidence when selling a house is a rare beast indeed and should be shouted loudly about.. We used Ewe Move to sell our beautiful grade 2 listed cottage and we could not have been more impressed. From the outset the service that Paul & Anita provided blew the competition out of the water. The photographs showed our house off beautifully and the floor plan was excellent - no mean feat in a multi-level house with flying freeholds. The details generated heaps of viewings and the house was sold within 3 weeks at the asking price.
What we were really impressed with though was the amount of effort that Anita & Paul put in after the sale, ensuring that the chain kept moving along, and communicating with us every step of the way to make the whole process as smooth as possible. We'll definitely be using them for all future house moves and can't speak highly enough of them.

Phew! Are we pleased that we were introduced to Ewemove! With the previous agent, after 119 days we had just TWO couples visit, neither of which were really interested. The day we changed to Ewemove, Paul and Anita had already been all over our house, measuring, photographing and preparing the web-site with the addition of 3D diagrams. The Friday at 1130 we went live, and at 3.30 Paul rang with three couples booked for the next day, and in 8 days we had 11 visits and three offers! Some competition ensued resulting in an increase in an offer and the sale going through successfully. My wife and I can't speak too highly of Paul and Anita; friendly and professional, yet assertive enough to be on the case from the start to finish.

Paul and Anita were instrumental in the sale of our beloved cottage, I am confident with their expert manner and experience the sale would have been a whole lot more stressful.

We used Ewemove, Yeovil, with Anita and Paul to market our property.
Prior to this we had approached other estate agents and considered marketing the house ourselves. Paul and Anita very quickly arranged to conduct a valuation. Their valuation was significantly higher than another estate agent but they provided sound explanation why the house was worth what they said. Once we elected to go ahead with them they were amazingly pro-active in advertising the house. They quickly posted a very appealing advert with excellent photographs showing our house to it's best. Additionally they arranged an open day just two weeks after being appointed as our estate agents. On the open day there were 6 viewings with 5 offers made! Once we accepted an offer (for £15k (10%) more that the other estate agent had valued the house) Anita remained engaged ensuring the process went as smoothly as possible.
Ewemove clearly helped throughout the process and the buyer has elected to use them to let and manage the property. I would say I have been cynical of the fees most estate agents charge relative to the effort they put into selling your property. In the case of Ewemove Yeovil I am very happy that the fee was fully earned and am confident that they sold the property for thousands more that I would have got selling it another way. I have already recommended their service to friends who are considering selling property in the near future!

Anita and Paul, in our opinion, have been excellent throughout our sale process. We had previously been with two of the other high-street agents who achieved a combined viewings total of 7 in as many months!! Anita and Paul managed over 25 in less than 3 months - all of which were genuine vendors. Not time wasters as you often get in this sometimes dire process!! Such results, in our opinion, speak for themselves.
They know how to market a property, how to engage with and support their clients and above all have helped achieve a successful sale!
We would, without a doubt, come back to them again in the future and would strongly recommend them, to anyone interested, in having a couple of real professionals help them sell their home!!!
