David has been really helpful. After seeing a house with Foxes/David but deciding it wasn't for us, he kept in contact and rang to inform us about another house he thinks we may like (which, with todays rental market, most agents aren't bothering to ring out anymore, so we really appreciated this!). During both viewings David was really helpful, polite and professional. He really knew his stuff about the houses and one or two questions he couldn't answer, he rang us later that day with answer. The site staff are friendly and helpful, and it was very easy to get signed on and moved in. However: - My tenancy ended a month ago, and i haven't received my deposit back. There's been no reason given for this, I've chased and have been fobbed off to the TDS to address this. - moving into the flat that is supposedly professionally cleaned, i found the extractor was filthy and covered in thick grease on the inside and outside, which is a fire hazard. The 'cleaning' of the flat was a lick of paint over everything, hairs were painted into wood work, there was a manky plank of wood holding the bath panel together and even the bathroom string light switch was covered in white paint & knotted. - I pointed out the airing cupboard door wouldn't open prior to moving in, this wasnt fixed. I again reported it. Someone came and sprayed wd-40 on it, and i advised again that the job wasn't complete. The door held access to the hot water switch, which i couldn't switch on. - I advised via email of the tenancy payment dates and how I'd be unable to pay on the stated date. I was told this was fine, thus signed my tenancy. The tenancy was never amended, so i was accused of being in arrears in my first month. - This landlord is almost as useless and seedy as Fergus Wilson, and Fox & sons should be embarrassed to have him as a client....
