Our experience with Oakfield has been effortless and high professional. We were looking to upsize from a small one bedroom apartment, from our first contact with Jackie she was friendly and accommodating, taking the time to listen to our needs and supported us from viewing to references and everything in between. We haven’t had the best experience with our previous letting agent so approached Oakfield tentatively, it’s safe to say they have restored our faith and this local agent is must go to. Colin and Danni have been very efficient, friendly and helpful in helping sell my house. I have been constantly informed of the progress of my sale and viewings have always been arranged at times that were the most convenient to me. They have recommended several local solicitors to deal with the conveyancing and everything is progressing as smoothly as possible.
James, on the letting side, has looked after my buy-to-let flat for years and found me excellent tenants. We bought our current home from this company, when we went in to list it we found the staff full of attitude and not customer focussed at all.
We sold via another agent and recently tried to register with them for a purchase of up to £1.2m and again the staff attitude was very odd.
We never managed to register and frankly won’t bother. Not sure why anyone would sell via this agent, if you receive a poor experience as a customer then people looking to buy your house will have this same experience.
Many better agents in Lewes like Charles Wycherley or Caroline in Oakley’s and Sue in Cubitts

They went out their way to create opportunities and follow up on everything, and sold our property quickly considering it had been on the market with another agent for quite some time previously.
