We recently sold our house in Sale and were very pleased that we chose Gascogne Halman, Sale, to market our property. From first to last the whole team: Andrew, Julie and Dan were very professional and helped us through what at times was a fraught process.
One regret was the fact that we used the Gascoigne Halman conveyancing service. They are a national firm and we really struggled to get the conveyancing process really started. At least we had Julie and Andrew to progress chase for us, but it was stressful. Despite this I would recommend Gascoigne Halman to anyone. Thank you!

Fantastic service. Haven't moved for 10 years and this time we were towards the top of a chain. Stressful along the way (including losing a buyer and having to start over) but Tom @ Gascoigne Halman was a fantastic help - especially towards the end. I have never thought about the value that estate agents provide once they hand over the process to solicitors but Tom was on the phone every day around exchange - always available, professional, good communicator and a massive help during the process. Our latest sale was handled brilliantly from start to finish. We were a little nervous about getting the right quality of viewers as our property was listed at the higher end of the local market. However, all the right questions were asked and only serious buyers were booked appointments. In no time at all we had a sale secured at a price we were very happy with.
Andrew visited to do the valuation and talked us through everything market related. Hannah took brilliant pictures to advertise the house perfectly and Julie the office manager navigated us through the process up to completion. Overall we had excellent service from all the staff at the Sale branch and pass on our thanks to all.

Since beginning the process of selling our mother's house, the service I have received from Gascoigne Halman has been excellent. After our initial meeting, I was impressed by Andrew's enthusiasm, interest, and clear knowledge of the locality of my mum's house, along side a sympathetic understanding that comes with a probate sale. Throughout all the viewings, I was always updated by staff and Andrew provided excellent advice and guidance throughout. Equally, I cannot speak too highly of Julie the Sales Manager, who, through what became a rather lengthy and stressful journey to exchange, always responded quickly to emails, called me regularly, and showed a pro-active, caring and very helpful approach throughout. I knew choosing Gascoigne Halman for the sale of my apartment was the right decision. With all the competition and offers like ‘£0 sale fees’ and other such companies my partner took more convincing. Well, I’m happy to say I was right and we were not disappointed! Everyone at the Sale office has been incredible, a big thank you to Tom, Dan, Julie and Annie. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of viewings booked over 2 specific days as requested due to having a baby, offers received from day 1, Dan talked me through each offer to ensure the right one was best for me, despite all my ‘what if’ questions Dan was patient, knowledgeable and talked me through different outcomes. Unfortunately, as we were buying a new build, stress from the builders sales office they couldn’t take off me (as they insisted on contacting me direct!) but thank you so much Annie and Julie for dealing with everything else. Delays with my management company meant we were dangerously close to the stamp duty cut off date for completion, I panicked more when my solicitors didn’t seem as concerned as me -
we all know they work at their own pace! But Annie completely understood and contacted my buyer and his solicitors to get done what needed to be done, as quickly as if I had done it myself - and it was sorted the same day. I can’t thank you enough, I will honestly never use another company. I have bought a few times with other estate agents but the never gave the same level of customer service. Everyone at Gascoigne Halman goes above and beyond which is so refreshing, thank you for helping our move less stressful!

Our house Sale went through so quickly we then had to rent a property ourselves.
Which is where I was also introduced to the amazing Kelly.
Fabulous, Professional throughout.

Properties for let - they were able to match my suitabililty & requirements to a property during this stop-gap stage.
A little tip for future Clients viewing with The adorable Kelly-Wear your trainers, take long strides, shes on a mission to save the Universe! All switches that may have been left on while viewing properties are swiftly switched off. Now this is where your trainers come in handy, if viewing another property near by, off Kelly goes on her mission, best foot forward & all that; shes off-in that race as if she in the London underground striding forward to overtake the person who dares to walk ahead!!

From first visit to value to completion of Sale...I would recommend Gascoigne Halman all the way. Their task was not made any easier by the fact that I do not reside in the UK so everything was done from afar!
Gascoigne Halman within hours of appointment had viewings arranged.
As is not unusual, the sale was not without its problems , however Dan went out of his way to liaise with all parties involved and kept me up to date at every stage, including several long distance phone calls.
From marketing to completion in 10 weeks... not bad going.

Gascoigne Halman was appointed to value my property to allow us to potentially purchased the property next door (marketed by them) in the meantime they failed to inform us an offer had been accepted, thus not allowing us the opportunity to bid. Obviously we cancelled their evaluation of our property and are looking at putting it up for sale with Bridgfords, who so far are proving to be helpful and professional.

Had a really good experience buying with Gascoigne Halman. I was involved in a few sealed bids processes before being successful, and found GH really pleasant to deal with - kept me up to date, were transparent, and I didn't need to chase. I dealt with Mandy for my house purchase and she was great - fought my corner a few times, so professional as well as being really nice to speak to. This was a first house purchase and it all went smoothly, so very grateful. I dealt with most of the estate agents in Sale at some stage, and GH are for sure one of the best.

Bad experience as a tenant. They will charge a lot on any chance they get and they care only for owners. I've left 1 month without a stove after a gas leak and many other problems.
