This was my first house purchase so I wasn't confident in how the process worked - but this wasn't an issue and the team at the Stockton Heath Branch were always very helpful and the sale went smoothly.
Before this, Gascoigne Halman at Stockton Heath were the estate agents for the past three properties we rented. Again, they've always been very helpful and professional and we've never had an issue. I would recommend them for either purchasing or renting a property through.

Excellent service and advice from Jacqueline, Dawn, Lee and all the team. Although the sale and completion should been easy and straight forward, it wasn't and was continuously delayed month after month. The frustration of the situation, was made easier by having the all of the team, but a special mention to Jacqueline at the end of a telephone call or email to assist with the matter in hand and eventually complete the sale. Great team, great service and I have no hesitations in recommending Gascoigne Halman Stockton Heath.

We have just sold our house with Gascoigne Halman in Stockton Heath, and right from the start the staff have been helpful and professional, especially Chris and Lee who gave great advice about the price to market the property at and how to generate the most interest. We had 6 viewings the first weekend and 3 competing offers on the property within a few days!
Using a local agent who knows the market well pays huge dividends and was worth every penny we paid. One of the people in the chain below us used a very poor legal firm who were impossible to contact and the Gascoigne Halman team showed some real dedication in getting the sale progressed on time.
I honestly couldn't reccommend this company more highly, use these guys with confidence!

At the initial house viewing Lee was very knowledgeable & was happy to answer all questions. We felt really supported throughout the entire process & although we were anxious at stages Karen, Lee or Chris were always there to put or minds at rest & to ensure that the process ran smoothly. The team in the office are so hard working & helpful it has been a pleasure to deal with them.

Would have preferd to give no stars but couldn't as one star is the minimum.
We approached this estate agent to let out our property. After a couple of viewings we found a tenant who was selling her property through Gascoigne Halman, obviously they were making a lot more commission with her sale than they were getting from us.
They asked us to take our property off the market as their other client most definitely wanted it and the sale of her house was almost complete. We agreed to their request. A few weeks later we heard nothing so contacted the agents who advised their other clients sale had fell through.
They failed to advise us or put our property back up on the market. They said their other client was having more viewings and could we keep ours off the market for their other client. Almost 6 weeks had gone by with the promise that their client would pay half the rent in order for us to keep our house off the market and keep itfor her.
However the estate agent failed to get any agreement signed and the last minute their other client decided she wanted to live elsewhere and pulled out.
We acted in goodwill on the advise of this estate agent. We have lost nearly 2 months marketing and rent because of this company as their priority was to look after their more valuable customers.
The compensation they offered was a reduction of £40 in their fees. Absolute insult.
Would never recommend this company to anyone.
