Dealt with Malcom (Steeden) and Matt in his absence. Malcolm was responsive and showed a keen interest to be involved with the sale. Gave some constructive advice, which we followed and delighted with the results both in terms of the viewing, all undertaken by Goadsby, and the follow-up to these. End result was a sale effected quickly at a price in excess of our expectations. Very pleased with the regular contact and overall experience.

Matt was superb, handling difficult negotiations with the vendor promptly and professionally. His advice and support was spot on during times the purchase looked like failing. He was also key to keeping our buyers chain informed of progress which no doubt kept them interested to completion. You won't find better.

We sold our house through Goadsby and found Matt to be very professional. He kept us in the loop throughout the whole (fairly stressful) process in a calm and friendly manner, and even gave us the heads up about the house we bought, which was listed through another agent.
We would definitely recommend Goadsby.

Goadsby Estate Agents of Fordingbridge have just sold my property for me and from start to finish it has taken 3 months , the whole team are just amazing , they have kept me up to speed throughout , they are so very helpful nothing is too much trouble for them , great advice on helping me sort things out too. I got a few valuations on my house with Goadsby being the last one they all promised the same thing basically but no one sold it to me like Malcolm did wow what a star he is, not only did he talk the talk he went and walked the walk, I couldn’t believe my luck when I started communicating with Matt in the office he too was amazing from start to finish , I really can not recommend Goadsby enough , also the best deal .

We tried several Estate Agents in the local area to sell our house over the past one and half years. A couple of them managed a few viewings but none of them came to anything. Switching to Goadsby in Fordingbridge followed a detailed inspection of our property and an in depth discussion with Malcolm Steeden, the manager of the office. This proved to be a good decision as he, and his assistant Matt, soon began to direct potential buyers to our property. The house is in a secluded spot and does not suit everyone, but these two gentlemen found us buyers, indeed two buyers competing for the purchase. Malcolm was then extremely helpful analysing the two offers and their ability to proceed through their different "chains", offering advice as to which offer we should accept. We are delighted to report that Malcolm's advice, and his and his assistant Matt's constant monitoring of the process, has led to a sale. I thoroughly recommend the services of this company and particularly, the two gentlemen in the Fordingbridge office.

We chose to sell our semi-detached house in Fordingbridge with Goadsby and we're so glad that we did. They were professional and efficient from the initial valuation all the way through to completion. We were particularly impressed with the fact that Matt sold our property within 24 hours (before it was even listed on Rightmove!)
Their fee was cheaper than some of their competitors in the area, and yet the service they provided was excellent. We were always able to speak to them when we needed to, and they kept both us and our buyers informed. We were also grateful for the reassurance they offered to ours buyers when an issue at the land registry slightly delayed our forward purchase.
We would definitely recommend them :)

Much is said about Estate Agents but I always form my own view. Goadsby Estate Agents in Fordingbridge are truly outstanding. They provide a very professional service but in particular, they are straight down the line and they know their market inside out. The Manager, Malcolm Steeden and his team make you feel very comfortable throughout the process but it's their honesty and market knowledge that makes the experience stand out from others.
