I have been in contact with Malaz at Hamptons Ealing branch. Everything was fine until after I signed the contract and made the deposit and rent payment. The apartment I’m renting is supposed to be managed by Hamptons, as the landlord is out of the country, but I am not receiving the support I need.
Malaz provided me with an email to contact Vantage Building for a move-in parking bay booking. I need to confirm this booking with the moving company to secure pricing, but despite reaching out repeatedly since Friday, 9th August, I’ve received no support in this matter . I’ve asked Malaz to assist in bridging the communication gap, but no help has been provided. I was also not informed before taking the flat that it is not managed by the concierge, which is making the move-in process difficult.
Today, I spoke to Taniya, who initially seemed reassuring that I will get assistance in my matter took no action. I asked Taniya if Malaz, who was reportedly at Vantage Building, could help by obtaining a contact number for easier communication for booking move-in parking bay as I’ve received no response from concierge via email. Taniya later mentioned that Malaz said they couldn’t assist and that I should go to Vantage Building in person. However, I’m currently based in East London, and traveling to West London just for booking parking-bay is impractical.
Additionally, I agreed to contribute extra money for a mattresses of my own choice and provided links to Malaz to purchase it from a specific website at a lower price. Despite this, she ignored my latest email and bought it from the site provided in my previous email at a higher price (£159 more expensive than what I asked for) and also charging me additional VIP delivery with old mattress and bed removal recycling of £100 which is not my responsibility as there is free standard shipping fee. I’ve requested a proper receipt but received only a screenshot of the order cart, not a final receipt.
When I asked Saleena (initially reluctant to give her name) to connect me to a manager or complaints department, she refused and hung up on me twice. This level of service is unacceptable, especially after paying three months’ rent upfront and being flexible with the move-in date.
The delays and lack of support from Hamptons have caused significant problems, including losing out on mattress sales (of £175) due to slow communication. I’m being asked to pay for a higher-priced mattress I didn’t agree to and face continued delays without resolution. I urgently need assistance, but my time is being wasted with no acknowledgment of the issues I’m facing and no support.
Managing the property is Hamptons' responsibility, as the landlord is paying them for this service. However, Malaz keeps insisting that arranging things like the sofa delivery into the apartment is a big favor she's doing for me. I don’t see how this is a favor to me, especially since my tenancy hasn’t even started and I don’t have the keys yet. And my flat should be pre-furnished.

In my time as an estate agent it is rare for me to go and review another estate agent, however she has certainly been a breath of fresh air to deal with in a chain we have been involved in. Always returned calls, was at the other end of the phone when times got a little tricky and has just been fantastic from the outset. I wonder how this agency got this high rating - are they writing reviews themselves ?! )Our experience with them is appalling , worst I ever had in London in all renting history ! I’d given zero if there was such an option.
Imagine you move out, pay £250 for professional cleaning, leave the place in a GREAT condition. They sneak in while you are still a tenant paying for this property (but moved out a week earlier), make a mess removing all the furniture (as the next tenant requested), and then charge you £700 for all the mess and damages THEY DID WHEN REMOVING STUFF. They even didn’t contact us prior to these works (if they were “unhappy “ with the level of cleaning ) , but first did all the mess and decided to make us pay for all additional cleaning required at a ridiculous rate of £700!! Very dodgy unprofessional agency, will warn people on all my social platforms to be aware and stay away from them! Such a scam!
In the meantime , contacted my lawyer and he reassured given all the details of the case, we are going to fight and win, and actually make Hamptons pay more for trying to scam the clients in this way ! I’ll make sure this agency will become known !!

Recently I registered with lots of estate agents in Ealing area, I had many bad experience from other estate agents. For example: Some agents forget to bring the keys or brought the wrong keys; some agents rush to show you the house and keep saying they had another appointment etc .
After all this drama I find that Gabriela Pomianek from Hamptons Ealing is the best agent I have ever met, she is so professional and so understanding, she tried every possible opportunity to help us. Finally we got to rent the apartment that we really like.

we had arranged to move in to a new property with Hamptons, everything was going fine. the last minute the current tenants of the property we had hoped to move in to fell through, it happens. how ever at that point baring in mind we had signed the tenancy agreement, also considering we had given our notice on our current property. the landlord/ Hamptons should have been liable to sort us out accommodation in that situation. Hamptons came back with a statement saying, they had signed but not dated the contract and therefore were not obligated to help at all. this is the shadiest thing ive ever witnessed. during that phase, where you have given notice and signed new contract, its imperative you are protected by the tenancy contract for situations just like this. if you are going to do business with Hamptons, triple check everything. we had a week to find a new property, we ended up somewhere far less than ideal. I would sincerely recommend not doing business with Hamptons

Buying a property is one of the hardest processes in the UK as the system is set up to favour the seller. Unfortunately, most estate agents do not realise that for a smooth and quick sale with maximum gain for their client (the seller) finding the right buyer is the most important factor and the way to achieve this is to 'treat' the prospective buyers with the same respect and attention you treat the seller. The team at Hamptons Int in Ealing know this very well.
We had been house hunting for nearly 3 years (inc Covid lockdown period) as our search area was very small and our specifications list quite long. During our search period, we have worked with most of the estate agents in Ealing but more so with the Hamptons team (Selina, Paul and Mark) as they represented most of the good properties in the area and they were very proactive to call us even before the property comes on the market. I have lost count of the number of properties Selina has shown us before we finally found our dream home.
There was no surprise when the house we bought in the end was represented by Hamptons. The whole team went above and beyond to coordinate this very stressful process to say the least. They managed to smooth out the bumps on the way with always a big smile on their faces! We cannot recommend them enough.

Selina and the Hamptons Ealing team took on my property to sell towards the end of last year. From the first point of contact didn’t take much convincing to appoint Hamptons, valuation was on point, must admit was a bit concerned that the asking price set was too high but they demonstrated through similar sales price was correct. They proved to be right and the house sold for what we wanted after the initial set of viewings. Brochure was outstanding, house was photographed extremely well.
They assisted through out the sales process right until exchange.

I enlisted Hamptons Ealing to sell my house after no success with another agent over a long period of time. From the onset Paul, The Manager, was very personable offering good advice, as were members of his team Mark and Selina. They provided a highly professional service with good communication. A good number of viewings took place very quickly and although I had vacated my property, I always felt reassured that both Mark and Selina would leave the house safe and secure. Selina managed to secure an offer just before the Covid-19 lock down. Despite the Ealing Office having to close, at no time did I feel abandoned and communication was kept open enabling the sale to progress and complete. Quite remarkable given the circumstances. In a nutshell - these people are worth every penny. We initially tried one of the well known on-line estate agents but after a few months decided that maybe a traditional high street estate agent was the way to go. Just sold my brother's flat. My main contact was Mark Peppin. First the negatives:-
1) THe flat eventually sold for a lot less than their original estimate. However, the market is so depressed right now that you could probably say the same thing about most agents in London.
2) In the early stages, I felt Hamptons were relatively passive in that they seemed to be just waiting for people to phone in response to their website. I contrast this with the agent handling my house sale last year who ws actively phoning people who had viewed other properties of his to encourage them to view mine.
However, once the offer was in, any sign of passivity completely disappeared. Hamptons "owned" the chain and they were very active in chivvying everyone along to get the formalities completed but, importantly, not in a way that put anyone's back up. I think it's fair to say that they excelled on this (critical) part of the sale process.

Exceptionally high standard of service! After having bad experience with other agencies, it was a delight finding our perfect home with Hamptons. We were treated like a queen, Chloe, Milena and Sian were very helpful from the beginning, they replied to our questions quickly and sent updates continuously. Truly they know how to build good relationship with their customers. The cherry on the cake is their contracting process. Storing and signing documents online is huge time-saver!! Me and my wife are very satisfied thanks to Hamptons hassle-free service. I can only recommend them.

A delight from start to finish.
Placing your house on the market is always hard, but Hamptons in Ealing made it a stress free experience for us. The manager, Paul, visited the property with up to date information regarding previous sales in the area and giving us a realistic, yet impressive valuation. Upon agreeing to instruct them on a sole agency basis, everything was arranged very quickly to get our property on the market as soon as possible, from having the photographer over to arranging the EPC etc.
Paul, along with the two negotiators we dealt with, Selina and Mark arranged as many viewings as possible for the first weekend which generated several offers.
We never felt the need to email or call the agent to chase anything, as we were always kept up to date with the current activity. Our house is now a couple weeks away from completion.
If I had another property to sell in the area, I wouldn't even think about another agent.
A big thank you to Paul, Selina and Mark, and Hamptons International of course.

We have just exchanged today on a property and we are delighted with the service Hamptons International Ealing provided.
We first met Paul the branch manager in December who showed us around our prospective home. Paul is extremely friendly, knowledge and professional and most importantly left us with a strong sense that he operated with integrity. No hard sell he just took the time to understand our needs and really listened to what was important to us.
Next we met his colleague Selina who is efficiency personified, she kept us regularly informed and was on top of the whole process, making sure we made it over the line within our timeframes. Nothing was too much trouble, she called when she said she would and her attention to detail and project management was flawless.
Last but not least Mark, who accompanied us to measure up for fixtures and fittings. Considering there was not going to be a sale in the appointment for him he never made us feel pressured to hurry up and was so patient. Mark made some very useful suggestions and recommendations, knew the area well and followed up promptly and personally on a number of questions we had after our visit.
In our opinion a highly successful and efficient team, working together as a team, to provide the best possible customer service and personalised experience - I thoroughly recommend them.

Would just like to extend our thanks and gratitude to all the staff at Hamptons Ealing, but in particular to Selina Doran, for making the process of selling and buying through them a wholly smooth and pain-free experience. We encountered a fair few obstacles along the way (it wasn't the simplest of chains) which Selina dealt with with the minimum of fuss. She put us at ease as the process became more complicated, by always chasing the information we required right across the whole chain. We always felt like we were kept informed even when there was no news to tell us. We even heard from Selina from her holidays (which she really shouldn't have!) as she was keen to keep us reassured that things were progressing. Her colleagues Mark Peppin and Paul Daniel picked up the reins seamlessly when Selina wasn't contactable - they were all fully briefed which made it easier. Pity that I can't give less than a star. All promises before you have moved but then it's all surprises. I moved with my family on Friday evening to know that Bed, Sofa, Cupboard (everything that led to my decision to finalize the flat) is not there. Called the hamptons and they said there's been a "misunderstanding" between them and landlord about the availability of these items. So now, they advised me to buy a camping matteress (just for 3 days as Bed will be delivered on Monday as it has been ordered) which I said I wont as I Cant have my 2 year old kid sleeping on it. Anyway, I bought a matteress (hope they reimburse at least the fraction of amount they promised) and spent the weekend in the hope of a bed on Monday. I got a call on Monday that Bed is ordered now (they lied that it was ordered on Friday itself) now and new delivery day is Friday. Now imagine if I would gone with their idea of a camping matteress. I'm still clueless about other items if they would come or not as Landlord said that he had asked hamptons to advertise the property as unfurnished. And on top of that, Not given the parking yet as I was told while being lured to final this flat (I dont have a car but was told I can rent the parking out and that's why I didn't negotiate further). So here I am stuck for at least 6 months in this flat. Don't know whom to blame! One question to hamptons - Why should I pay my hard earned money to you as fee for your incompetence (and lies?). No one suffered other than my family - you are sitting comfortably in your offices and Landlord is fair in his point of view. Its sad that you do business in such an unprofessional way! Pathetic.

Andrew Elliot and his colleague Mark Peppin showed us several flats and tuned in to exactly what we were looking for. I want to recommend Hamptons as an estate agent, really because my biggest regret in selling a flat earlier this year was not setting a contract with them earlier.
I had an off-plan flat to sell, and initially visited a few different agents to get an indication of fees. I settled with a different agent who offered a slightly cheaper fee, but 3 months went by and not many offers were generated, and the ones that were quickly fell through.
I recontacted Hamptons just a couple of weeks before the deadline I had to offload my flat by, and they gave me excellent advice, produced a very professional brochure, and quickly marketed the flat to their client base. They did generate an offer, but eventually a better deal was struck directly with the developers, which was an unusual case. Even after their hard work wasn't rewarded with a commission, they were professional and understanding and happy for my result.
I can't recommend them enough - I feel that if I have a flat to sell in the future, the service that this agent gives will generate more and better offers. And it's not like their fees aren't competitive - they're just not absolutely rock bottom. It's worth getting a good agent, and this is something I've learnt for next time.

As a buyer, I found the people at Hamptons in Ealing polite, professional and very, very helpful. Most of my dealings were with Sophie Naysmith who was excellent. She constantly kept in touch with me, my solicitor and the vendor and I always new exactly what stage we were at in the process and what would happen next. Hamptons have an eager and committed young team in Ealing. Although our style of house did not make it the easiest proposition to sell, they maintained the momentum and kept us informed as each stage of the process developed, advising us appropriately as various potential purchasers put in their offers.
