If you’re looking for an agent that can competently see your sale through to completion, then look no further than using Hampton’s.
I thoroughly researched agents before listing and the information and attention received from Hampton’s was thorough, informative and honest. It was evident their knowledge and experience enabled them to really understand how the sale should be best positioned and they came up with a plan for marketing, whilst remaining respectful to existing tenants. This was a multi occupancy property and therefore quite complex and niche. I honestly couldn’t have been in better hands with Peter Knowles and Zoe Grey managing the sale. Everyone I dealt with at Hamptons offered the same high level of service, which was exceptional. I definitely chose the right agent. From Peter’s initial thorough, honest advice and attention (a clear differentiation from all the other agents) to Zoe managing everything following listing, they navigated all the twists and turns, competently and effectively. They thoroughly supported every aspect of the sale, going above and beyond expectations. Hampton’s ensured we obtained the best offer and committed buyer and held the complex sale together, which is where the knowledge, experience and commitment really counts. They also have a really wide reach with multiple offices and access to investors, which supported us receiving multiple offers and finding a buyer quicker than I anticipated. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them, so if you want to save some time, trust me just give them a call.

Fantastic experience throughout my sale process with Hamptons. One of the reasons I chose Hamptons was how transparent they were with my expectation setting about the sale unlike some other agents who promise you the moon.

The most ridiculous agency I’ve ever encountered! We had seen properties in the same building identical to the one listed. We were abroad and asked to put in an offer directly and prepay the rent for over 1 year. Their lettings department would not allow it without an in person viewing, which was not possible due us being on a work trip abroad. We were offering asking price with 1 year prepayment and they wouldn’t even relay the offer to the landlord! To say that’s discrimination is an understatement! We explained multiple times we would vary all the risk of not seeing particular flat and that we had seen the ones right above and below it. Any property represented by this agency should be aware that their policies are preventing offers from being put forward to landlords!

I'm happy to make an offer on a flat in a building that I've already seen two flats in (with other agents). They insist on physically viewing the flat before I can offer. I explain that I'm out of the country and that I know exactly the building and what the flats are like as I've seen two flats there, but they won't budge. Other agents are happy to let me take the very small risk. Super unhelpful. I'll also point out that I had to chase to get them to respond to my phone message and email.

We had one week to sell our house after seeing a rarely available house that we loved come on the market through Hamptons. Peter proposed a competitive pricing strategy which we followed and Paul, Zoe and Jackie packed in viewings right up to the last minute. We ended up with multiple offers over asking price after 6 days on the market which enabled us to present an offer on our purchase property before the offer deadline. The increased sale price meant we could increase our bid on our purchase property and we had our offer accepted amongst a sea of offers. Paul managed the sale and purchase process and kept up communication throughout so we knew what was happening at every step and both sale and purchase went through without any significant bumps. We’re very happy customers and thoroughly recommend Hamptons!

Paul took our poor perception of estate agents and turned that on its head. We cannot recommend Paul and Hamptons more highly.
Our purchase became difficult and complicated with some issues, not connected to Hamptons, that could never be forseen. The issues should have caused us some real stress, however, Paul took them all away and ensured the process was as painless as possible.

We walked into the flat pretty well and quickly. No issues at all and all the paperwork went smoothly. However, since we are inside the flat we asked to change the windows and head manager Grace is just wasting time. We have got mould all over the flat since October, horrible conditions and she is just promising and promising actions that are not happening. Today 6/02/24, after 5 months the issue hasn't been solved, we have been sick multiple times, we have been sleeping with a temperature below 8 degrees indoors. Worse aftercare ever experienced in London after 9 years!

Thoroughly impressed by Hamptons throughout the sale of my property.
You might find a slightly cheaper commission rate elsewhere (1.25%+VAT) but you're very unlikely to find the excellent level of customer service and professionalism. It's definitely worth paying the bit extra.
In particular thank you to Paul Marchant and Gene. Paul even drove to me to pick up the keys near the completion date to save me having to reorganise meetings to get to the Hamptons office - well above and beyond.

I can thoroughly recommend Hampton's Estate Agents. We dealt with Paul Marchant from their Kingston Branch and he was very helpful in guiding us through the various stages of moving home after 39 years living at our previous address. Nothing was too much trouble for him, and as we were downsizing from a house to a flat, he was able to organise numerous visits to the flat during the purchasing process to enable us to carry out quite detailed measuring up.
We moved in on 28th September 2023 and he still rings up to see how we are settling in.

Hamptons was very confident to find a tenant for my flat quickly and it was the reason I decided to go with them. My property is in one of the best places in the area and in a very good and modern condition . For about 3 month they even did not bother to have one viewing. Whenever I followed up they kept quiet. I was on a trip and did not have a chance to visit even my unoccupied property to see what is going on. For 3 months I was on loss. I trusted these guys but they did not do any effort at all. I decided to hire two other agents and then these two agents had lots of viewings all of a sudden. One of them found a tenant very quickly. I would not recommend the letting guys in Hamptons. Very disappointing experience it was affected me heavily.

I don't recommend this agency to anyone who recently came from abroad looking for a rental property, the lady who showed me a property was very uncomfortable being around me, she made me feel extremely bad, she couldn't even speak properly to me once I told her where I was from because of my ethnicity? She kept trying to get me to pay a year upfront for a flat. You know if you don't want to help other nationalities in your agency, just put a sign outside "we only prefer white people" as if many of us want to move to UK ???? some of us are forced to go and work from our countries. There are better agencies like KFH and Foxtons. Don't go here & get scammed.

My partner and I were looking for properties in the area while not knowing much about it and were quite confused. We shortlisted a few properties for viewings and Guy Connolly from the Kingston office was prompt at getting in touch. He got a clear understanding of what we were after on call and lined up some really excellent properties for us to view, all of which met our criteria. He was also very accommodating of our schedule and packed Saturday.
Since those viewings he followed up for feedback and made sure he addressed whatever misgivings we may have had with the areas/the houses.
