My daughter and her fiance have recently completed the purchase of a new build flat. As Selling Agents Hamptons Surbiton went far beyond what we would have expected of an Estate Agent to keep the transaction alive during the eight months it took to complete. Paul Marchant, their Senior Sales Consultant, was particularly helpful right from the beginning. He showed complete knowledge about the development and the development company and, having been very effective for both parties during the initial negotiations on price and other aspects of the transaction, he added enormous further value to his role by maintaining meaningful contact with us and liaison with the developer throughout the transaction. We found all the staff at Hamptons with whom we had contact pleasant to deal with and Paul Marchant effective, steadfast and highly understanding and trustworthy.

Although one sale fell, then having far from ideal solicitors within the chain of the second sale, Kelly and Gene both kept us sane and calm. Professional throughout, they really went above and beyond, especially I was a long distance landlord that was selling up. They checked into the empty property for me, and allowed people access which was a real help from afar. I couldn’t recommend them enough, were great from start to finish

Our experience from the very beginning was wonderful, and I say that as someone with borderline ptsd from previous estate agents! Axel was amazing, very hands on, responsive and so unbelievably sweet and kind. Answered all our questions and made the process really quick and easy. I’d give ten stars if I could!

After a great experience in starting a tenancy (see my review from 2 years ago), pleased to report a similar experience at the end of our tenancy. Great communication from the team, flexibility provided on end dates (which we didn't need, but were really grateful for) and a seamless check-out experience. Everyone did what they said they'd do, when they said they'd do it.
During the tenancy we had a number of maintenance issues (which are to be expected). In most cases, Hamptons had these sorted within 48-72 hours and to an excellent standard. We are actually now using many of the contractors they used in our new home as they did such good work.
Within 24 hours of check-out, we'd agreed the deposit refund and within 72 hours it was returned. I know that people's experience with renting varies, but I cannot fault the way Hamptons managed our tenancy. It's a two way street - good tenants and good managing agents make for a good partnership.
I don't want to rent again (!), but I am pleased with how Hamptons managed our tenancy and how they looked after us whilst we did rent.
A particular thanks to Victoria in the Surbiton office who has been fantastic throughout.

As tenants looking for property during a pandemic, it was always going to be a tough ask in tough times. The team at Hamptons, especially Jess and Victoria, have gone above and beyond to make our move into our new rental as smooth as possible.
From a video walk through , to negotiating on curtains with the landlord and getting the documentation together, they have been absolutely superb to deal with. We have been treated like clients, not just as "tenants" as some other agencies will treat you. From the day we started our search and even beyond the collection of the keys, they've been on hand to help with all aspects of the moving process and checking in to make sure everything is in working order. Everything is managed to a very high standard.
If you are a tenant looking for a professional team to get you through the process, you can't do better than our experience. If you're a landlord, I can honestly say that I would be very happy to have this team managing my property. They care about their tenants and their landlords.

I have sold 3 properties in the last 18 months, and purchased one. The purchase was via Hamptons, where we have just exchanged contracts (Hamptons were acting for the seller). I have to say that Malte and the team at Hamptons went well beyond the call of duty, doing everything possible to support the seller and facilitate the move. It was a really great job, which most estate agents would not have been up to. We had a difficult chain, and Hamptons were superb at trying to ensure clear communication and facilitate the transaction.

This was a great experience from start to finish Malte and Peter worked closely with the seller who was abroad to get the negotiation closed. In the weeks after we had good contact on the progress and we eventually got the keys earlier than expected. The house was in great condition when we moved in. We were surprised to see the Hamptons team in the loft moving out the last of the sellers contents, this was going the extra mile. Would recommend them as by far the best we dealt with.

Gascoigne and Pees are a part of Countrywide. When everything is going well, I had a good experience with them. However, the corporate will contact you for maintenance or renews and if things go wrong you have to deal with the corporate rather than people in the office. You can image how fun that is trying to get things right with them.

Myself and my boyfriend were looking for a flat to rent in the Kingston/Surbiton Area and after going around and introducing ourselves to several agencies in the area we went back to Gascoigne Pees the following weekend as the service there for our first meeting had been perfect.
Daren Corry was the only staff member at any of the agencies who actually made us feel welcome and like we were a priority. He booked us in a viewing for a flat he thought we would like and after having seen several by this point through other agencies both me and my boyfriend were getting frustrated. Fortunately the one flat Gascoigne Pees showed us was exactly what we wanted and Daren seemed to be the only one who had listened to what we wished to live in.
The following process of paperwork and contract signing was all a breeze with Gascoigne Pees, except for slight wait for acceptance of offer, but I would recommend their service to anyone who wants to feel prioritized and like a name rather than a number.
A special thanks to Daren Corry who especially during the offer process was very patient and made us feel so at ease. His level of customer service throughout has been exceptional and made us feel like valued customers rather than a possible income. Even now when we have main contact with the Kingston office with another great member of staff, Daren is still following up to make sure we are happy in our new home.
So overall to very very happy customers and a big thank you from Lise Jessen and Dominic Jones.

I found Gascoigne’s to be very helpful with all aspects of my move – queries were responded to promptly and they always returned calls. Despite running into some issues that could have delayed my move in date, these issues were outside of Gascoigne’s control and they worked tirelessly to address and resolve them. All in all my experience was positive and I would use them again in the future.
