James and Alan have been wonderful during a rather complicated sale of a house which had not been sold for over 70 years, so there were a lot of issues. They kept in touch at all times, ALWAYS answered the phone, and kept me up to date on all the proceedings. They were great at contacting both sides' solicitors, and keeping a handle on where we were in the process. Couldn’t ask for a better estate agent, it goes to show that working with a family business is preferable, rather than a big chain.

As first time buyers, they made the process clear and simple from the start.
No question was too big or small and James was fantastic to help us navigate this new challenge. Both himself and Allan were professional but friendly with consistent updates and quick replies that were reassuring in a somewhat daunting process for a first time buyer.

Howlands sold our flat in Bagshot and they made us feel safe and well looked after. They were transparent and it was obvious that they were working with us to suit our needs rather than working for themselves like other estate agents in the area. I would definitely work with them again and recommend to anyone in the area,

I have bought two houses and now sold two houses with Allan and James at Howlands Estate Agent and they are the most exceptionally lovely and helpful people I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would not use any other estate agent because they are extremely caring and helpful through the process and nothing is too much trouble for them. Recently sold our home though Howlands, James and Allan were fantastic throughout the entire process, using an estate agents with in-depth local knowledge really helps the entire process, they were always very easy to contact via phone or e-mail, I would 100% return to Howlands for any future property purchase/sale.
