31st Jan 2026 (25 weeks ago)While looking for an Estate Agent in Bagshot, to manage the renting of my property, I decided to use Howlands since they’re a local family run property business with the reviews being positive and the prices competitive. I’m really pleased I made this decision with James, Sandy, and Allan providing a very professional service during the 18mth period. Communication was very good with any problems raised by the tenants addressed swiftly which provided peace of mind. Due to Howlands being a family run business they go the extra mile and ensure they offer a positive experience. Based off the positive experience I subsequently used Howlands for the sale of the property which also worked out very well. The photos of the property showcased the house very positively with the video walk-through organised by James also looking great. During the conveyancing process James and Allan did an excellent job with providing regular updates and managing the communication between the sellers. I’d thoroughly recommend using Howlands for renting, selling, or buying a property in the Bagshot area with it even more important to support this great local business.

However, we decided to give Gascoigne-Pees a try, and we're so glad we did. Roy made the entire process seamless, straightforward, and stress-free. He was incredibly helpful throughout. We couldn't believe how smooth and easy everything was compared to our previous experiences. Unparalleled local knowledge combined with many years’ experience and faultless integrity put them head and shoulders over their competitors.<br>They tick all the boxes twice over with added enthusiasm and professionalism with nothing you ask being too much trouble.<br><br>All the staff I spoke to were helpful and friendly but a special mention to Nina who repeatedly went out of her way to help with nothing being too much trouble for her. Chris is a true master with an encyclopaedic knowledge of the area with a positive down-to-earth approach that gets thing done and quickly.<br><br>I can honestly recommend them to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property whatever the size or value. You will not be disappointed.

Moving house is incredibly stressful, but having an estate agent who is honest, transparent, and keeps you updated every step of the way makes all the difference.<br><br>This also had a private private sale in the chain, so there were plenty of unknowns, but Michael made the whole process feel straightforward and easy. His communication has been excellent throughout, always keeping us informed of every development, unlike many estate agents. He has gone above and beyond to make everything run as smoothly as possible, and his professionalism and dedication have been a breath of fresh air.<br><br>Thank you, Michael, for making such a stressful experience so much easier.
