Through the tough process of buying a house, Emmie was such a great voice of calm and reason, and a rock throughout.
Always easy to reach and always going above and beyond to close the communication gaps between buyer and seller parties in a way that massively helped what was a very tricky and noisy process.
She was the calm amongst the chaos! and has such an air of confidence and authority whilst also being so friendly, personable, upbeat and sympathetic.
Emmie was really patient with me. She learned exactly what I was looking for and didn’t rush the process. I never felt that my likes and dislikes on a place were unwelcome or falling on deaf ears. She really took note throughout the whole process and was extremely honest herself. Even after the sale was complete, Emmie was so generous with her time and ensuring I was comfortable and set up.
Great at her job but never felt faced with a hard sell, which is too often the case.

John D Wood (JDW) in Primrose Hill have been my letting agent since 2008. For several years now, Kate Martin (branch manager) has been my letting agent in the office. She’s a big part of why I have stayed with JDW. I’m not a professional landlord and Kate has made being a landlord a lot easier! She takes the time to explain changes in the relevant legislation, and to help me be compliant as a landlord. If I need something repaired or installed, she always has an excellent recommendations for third-party (independent providers), who I frequently recommend to other owners. Kate knows the local rental market extremely well and has found great tenants and achieved the best rents for me. She has always dealt with any queries from my tenants in a speedy and professional manner. I would definitely recommend JDW to other landlords and Kate Martin as your letting agent. 5-star service.
