We completed on a property on the 16th of July 2024, from the very start, the staff at Jordan Fishwick in Glossop were amazing.
Harriet and Debra were exceptional in all our dealings, their knowledge, experience and dedication were vital in securing a smooth process on our purchase and of course the sale for their clients! During the sale we overcame hurdles and issues that without them could have become overwhelming.

We have been renting through Jordan Fishwick and when we bought our first house Jordan Fishwick was the agent for the seller. Couldn't have asked for a better service. They were really helpful with our purchase, chasing solicitors and helping the process be as easy and stress free as possible. Having just used Jordan Fishwick to sell our home I cannot recommend them enough. The team are extremely motivated when it comes to selling your property and keeping you fully in the picture when things crop up when you least expect them to, more to the point going above and beyond to keep things moving in the right direction when things don't always go to plan. We were very impressed with Cara who i must say worked very closely with other professionals providing up to date information on a daily basis to allow everyone to move the sale forward. We genuinely couldn't have done it without her valuable knowledge and support to which we are extremely grateful.

Do NOT use Jordan Fishwick, Glossop to rent a house. I have just recently moved out of the property I rented with them after being a tenant of theirs for over 5 years. I have had nothing but trouble with the property the entire time I lived there. Over the years the list of things that needed to be repaired piled up and up and up, e.g. mold, dry rot, roof leaks and water damage. All of which were never repaired. I paid my rent on time each month and kept the house spotless, yet for some reason, the employees at Jordan Fishwick and the property owner never attempted to repair any of these problems. Over the years I have either called their office or physically gone into Jordan Fishwick dozens and dozens of times to practically plead with them to repair the house, yet nothing was ever done. Each time I was simply told "We will get in touch with the owner of the property and get back to you." But this never happened. I have rented quite a few properties over the years but I have never had such an awful experience as I have with Jordan Fishwick. I know other people who live in the area who also rent through Jordan Fishwick and have had pretty much had the exact same experience with this branch. I'd also like to add that the second a tenant moves out, they have builders in the property within days of the tenant leaving, most likely in an attempt to 'patch' things up for whichever unfortunate soul views the property next. The staff are rude, blatantly ignore your attempts to contact them and lie about contacting the property owner. The moment they find out you want to rent instead of buy, you're treated like a second class citizen. Go literally anywhere else but here if you're looking to rent.

This is surely the worst estate agency we have ever dealt with. We were renting a house with them and during these six months we experienced nothing than negative attitude and absolute ignorance of any issues we have raised. To have done the necessary repairs on the leaking roof we had to contact the environmental officer for the High Peak first, to force the agency to do something about this. The agency is expensive and charges for absolutely everything, including a reference for your new estate agency! Avoid, or you will regret!
