We had an excellent experience selling our home with Ryder & Dutton, and in particular with Jacqui, who guided us through the entire process, with support from Ryan. From the initial marketing through to completion, they were professional, approachable and kept us informed every step of the way.<br><br>Selling a property inevitably comes with its challenges, but Jacqui and Ryan handled everything calmly and efficiently. Communication was always prompt, and they were proactive in resolving issues whenever they arose. In particular, when an unexpected plumbing leak occurred just before completion, they arranged for a plumber immediately, which helped ensure the sale stayed on track.<br><br>Throughout the process, Jacqui was a fantastic point of contact, while Ryan’s support and advice were also greatly appreciated. Over the months, Dylan kept us informed about viewings, offers, and progress with the sale (once we were under offer). He kept things moving along…liaising with solicitors, he kept me up to date and make sure there were no additional delays. Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, I could not recommend Ryder & Dutton more.<br><br>If I'm honest I picked them initially as a benchmark for another estate agent I was thinking of using. I had an incorrect preconception that they might be a bit more high level corporate and may be too big to really look out for our needs, before actually speaking with them.<br><br>However Damien really set the bar when it came the house valuation and initial meeting. He took his time, kept our position in the forefront of his mind and also had great optimism in seeing the true potential of the property we were selling.<br><br>This alongside the clearly laid out plan to market the property for the best exposure really got our buy in to their ethos.<br><br>Following that Charlotte looked after us throughout the sale and was a fantastic asset. Charlotte really was a driving force, aiding with details on the progress of the sale, liaising with both sides and guiding us perfectly throughout at all times.<br><br>A really great team all round and they really blew the competition out of the water here, definitely the best in the area!

There's lots of great reviews here, but all of them seem to be praising the sales team. I can only assume this is where Ryder and Dutton focus their efforts because their rental agents are absolutely atrocious. Years of notifying them about the mould issue in our property have fallen on deaf ears, constantly breaching their own rules, late correspondence if it arrives at all, and most recently, a rent increase being notified to me six hours before it's due to come into effect. And of course the email arrived right as the office closes for the weekend. Useless, disrespectful and dire.

Avoid at all costs.<br>This estate agent are relying on reputation to get away with putting minimum effort into the promotion and sale of properties. When you sign up with them you are constantly pestered with their "partners" trying to sell conveyancing and other services despite the fact that they are not doing anything to try and promote the property.<br>Topping that off they will trap you in an overly long contract which is nearly double the length of any other local estate agent.

Ryan is an absolutely fantastic estate agent. When you buy or sell a house it all sounds so easy. However there are so many questions and bumps in the road where you really need an experienced professional you can trust. Ryan did the legwork in terms of chasing solicitors etc and knows exactly what should be happening at any given time - if it's not going to plan he will chase on your behalf. If we ever sell again we wouldn't dream of going to anyone else apart from Ryan at Ryder Dutton.

It's said selling a house is one of the most stressful things one undertakes in their lifetime, never mind doing it from overseas.<br>Ryan Jackson went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly. From the outset despite not acting for us Ryan was so friendly and kept us up to date with the whole chain regularly. Tried 2 days to book an appointment to view a property. Got back to me to say they are not taking any more bookings. The owner is getting back to them today to decide on the offers already made. They will keep me on their books for future ‘suitable’ properties. Read my information, I stated ‘do not contact me in any way other than for this property’.<br>I have friends booked in to view that same property tomorrow. What a waste of their time. Disgraceful.<br>I don’t like the way they do business.<br>They have acted like this previously when I have tried to do business with them.<br>In future I’ll have nothing to do with them.

Without Ryan's help we simply would not have completed in time for the June SDLT deadlines and the wider chain could have quite simply collapsed. Absolutely amazing service from Michael and his assistant Liz. We used a local R&D branch for the sale of our house and Michael Royle was recommended to us as mortgage broker. From day 1 he was extremely helpful and through our rocky road purchase (3 attempts to buy a house) we have not had to worry about the mortgage side of things, extremely responsive to all our queries and on the last occasion we had an offer accepted Tuesday, mortgage application submitted Wednesday, valuation Thursday and offer on Friday morning! But the work doesn’t stop once you’ve got a mortgage offer as Michael’s assistant Liz chased up regularly for updates from the solicitors and then updated us, and answered any queries we had extremely quickly in a very friendly manner. We have not had to worry about our side of things at all. Would 100% recommend using Michael Royle for mortgage advice and his assistant Liz Thomasson (and of course Ryder & Dutton).

During the process of our purchase, Ryan was in constant contact and always easily accessible and responsive.<br><br>Even though we weren't Ryan clients (which were the people we were purchasing from) I have genuinely never dealt with someone as; positive, friendly, knowledgable, professional and courteous as Ryan.
