Avoid at all costs.
This estate agent are relying on reputation to get away with putting minimum effort into the promotion and sale of properties. When you sign up with them you are constantly pestered with their "partners" trying to sell conveyancing and other services despite the fact that they are not doing anything to try and promote the property.
Topping that off they will trap you in an overly long contract which is nearly double the length of any other local estate agent.

I would like to go on record to commend the service we received from Ryder & Dutton's team in Glossop.
We live in Ireland and decided to sell our house in Glossop late last 2021. It's said selling a house is one of the most stressful things one undertakes in their lifetime, never mind doing it from overseas.
Ryan Jackson went out of his way to ensure everything went smoothly. It was very refreshing to meet a sales professional who over delivered on everything he promised. We found him responsive, professional, level headed and an extremely likeable young man (even though he is a blue..????????).
In truth Ryan ran held the deal together at times and ensured it's completion.
Nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend him and your company.
Looking forward to a red revival next year Ryan!!!

We didn't instruct Ryder & Dutton to act for us but they acted for our sellers and we definitely would have had them represent us! From the outset despite not acting for us Ryan was so friendly and kept us up to date with the whole chain regularly. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we felt like he was our own agent the whole way, he was amazing! Adam carried out our viewings and was really lovely and friendly too. Tried 2 days to book an appointment to view a property. Got back to me to say they are not taking any more bookings. The owner is getting back to them today to decide on the offers already made. They will keep me on their books for future ‘suitable’ properties. Read my information, I stated ‘do not contact me in any way other than for this property’.
I have friends booked in to view that same property tomorrow. What a waste of their time. Disgraceful.
I don’t like the way they do business.
They have acted like this previously when I have tried to do business with them.
In future I’ll have nothing to do with them.

We had a lot of hurdles to get over during the process, but Ryan kept us informed at every step of the way. He worked hard to ensure that both ourselves and the purchasers were all very happy with the outcome of these problems.
Ryan is very professional but by the end of the sale we felt like we had made a friend and if we should ever find ourselves selling another house again we wouldn't hesitate for a second to use these guys again!
You're only as good as your staff ~ so the saying goes, so credit also to Damien the manager for running a friendly and professional ship.

Started with Damien to review and price the house ,he was pleasant and Knowledgable, Declan was good on initial setting up of house details and Ryan took over and was excellent right up to and after the sale was complete , even taking an interest in our new house.
Nothing was too much trouble for him and gave us regular updates without prompting.
10 out of 10 an asset to the company.
I would have no trouble recommending this company to sell your house. Slightly dearer then a lot of high street Estate agents.....but then you get what you pay for. Worth it in the end. Well done Ryder Dutton and Ryan in particular .????

Ryan and Dec were exactly what we needed when buying a house for the first time. They were more than happy to answer every query we had throughout the process and we're incredibly diligent in following up on matters with Solicitors. Without them our purchase probably would have take much longer! They definitely went above and beyond.
We were also very happy with their manner through the whole transaction as both Ryan and Dec were friendly, personable...basically very normal and easy to communicate with!

Arrived to a viewing after 2,5 hours drive. Found out after viewing for 1-2 min there was a public path along the house ca 70cm - 1 meter infront of the house. The estate agent had just finished telling us that it was very rarely used when a man with backpack came walking by looking strait into the property windows. What is the point of not telling viewers about the public path when booking viewing? We drove 2,5 hour back home again.

Mick, Liz and the team at Ryder&Dutton were brilliant from start to finish. We wouldn't have been able to navigate the mortgage application process ourselves and so were saved the stress of dealing direct with the lender which in current conditions would have meant being on the phone for hours at a time. From finding us a great mortgage deal, to making the process of applying for appropriate insurances straightforward, to putting up with us changing our minds and stepping in to help with pre-completion emergency paperwork transfers, Michael couldn’t have done enough for us, and he was professional, courteous and friendly throughout.
