I know it is a tough market to sell with high rates, but the experience wasn’t great. We have been consistently pushed to lower our price, to a point it becomes really irritating.
The buyers they found was not vet properly been told they already exchanged, pushed us take property off market then turn out they didn’t, and chain fell because our buyers’ buyers withdraw last minute. Wont recommend and won’t use them again.
In this case I mark this to one star, we didn’t ask for more than you proposed, so our inspiration wasn’t higher than what you agreed. If we go with KF with lower price for easy sale, what is the differences between you and purple bricks?
You could validate with the buyers solicitors but didn’t manage to do that. That is just basic due diligence.

Disappointing customer service
We contacted knight Frank Sevenoaks and asked for an evaluation of our house with the aim to sell in a few months. First we're given an appointment, which was then cancelled on the day, we never received an alternative appointment, we emailed them asking to send another agent or re-arrange, we never received a reply, never heard from them again, it has been 4 weeks. Very disappointing and unprofessional.
I gave them 2 stars for the initial contact.

Dealt with Mark Waldron on the sale of our house in Riverhead. I would highly recommend both Mark and Knight Frank.
Right from the initial valuation appointment, mark gave really solid advice on how to maximise the marketing of the house to achieve the best price in a reasonable timescale. This was in summer 2023 and a difficult market to sell in.
Knight Frank got lots of interest in the house and had multiple offers. This was because we followed Marks pricing advice and they put together some really lovely photos, brochures and adverts.
We did have issues with our first buyer, who messed us around. Mark spotted this quickly and he was replaced with another buyer within a week.
Mark has supported us through the post sale process, always happy to help speak with buyers, solicitors and other agents.
If you are serious about selling in Sevenoaks then I highly recommend you talk to Mark and his team at Knight Frank.

We've just sold through Knight Frank (James Storey) and were delighted. We went with James/KF because they focused on evidencing why they thought we would get the asking price, rather than the well known competitor who focused on why the same proposed asking price was likely to be difficult to achieve. While buying, we came across the competitor again - Knight Frank were way better. James was professional, calm and tenacious throughout and we felt our interests were properly looked after. We never lacked for attention; nor honest assessment of challenges we had in the process; and so felt well-informed and well advised at all times. Mostly, we felt Knight Frank were really interested, unlike other agents we have used who wanted the fee but didn't want to earn it.

All the members of the team we dealt with were polite and professional and provided an efficient service from the office staff to the viewing assistants . The sale was protracted over 7 months because of problems further down the chain, but throughout the process we had a consistent single point of contact and support from the team and we were informed when staff were on holiday to help manage expectations. I could not recommend Knight Frank at Sevenoaks more highly, especially if you have an' out of the ordinary' property to sell.

The communication was quick and efficient, and Ross was working well into the evenings to help it all work out. It's no exaggeration to say that the chain would probably have fallen apart if it had not been for Ross's coordination of the chain from top to bottom. A member of staff even came to the house to provide reassurance and company to my elderly mother when she would otherwise have been left alone with our buyer's surveyor - and he stayed for the duration. From a realistic valuation, to great viewing management, ensuring the right clients are vetted and sent so not wasting our time. The individuals that conduct the viewings are really informed and professional, they all visit the house in advance. Having used all the 'quality' agents in Sevenoaks Frank Knight provide a very poor service. Horrible attitude to prospective purchasers and consistently over-value the properties they have on their books; meaning vendors have to drop significantly to achieve a sale, and are given unrealistic expectations. I know many agents, given the lack of houses coming to market are currently 'taking a punt'..but I respectfully suggest KF are taking the p***. The Senior Negotiator could do with an intensive course in customer relations. Many better options in the area, few worse!
