Cannot thank Matthew & Graham enough for all of their help in finding us a property.
After a few viewings, looking for properties/being notified of ones available, we were told about our now home, which had a small wait to move in, but cannot be more thankful for the hoops that Matthew & Graham jumped through for us, from start to finish with everything, keeping us up to date with progress and doing everything they could to help ensure all went smoothly.
We had gone through Martin & Co Uckfield back in Lockdown too for a previous property & always had exceptional service from them.

I rented my previous home through Martin & Co and had to move quickly this time. Matt knew exactly what I was looking for and went above and beyond to find me a suitable property.
I would definitely recommend them and would use them again, although I hope I don't have to for sometime.

I have had nothing but a positive experience with all the team members I have dealt with during the process of getting my new flat for me and my two children. Even during the second lockdown they have kept me up to date with all progression and today got the keys. Staff were friendly and helpful.

My sister in law recently rented a property with her 2 year old son. She moved all of her belongings to the property, when she returned the next day to unpack her items and move in to her dismay she found the property had a major water leak, the ceiling had caved in (thankfully they didn’t stay in the property that night) and all of the belongings have been ruined.
The estate agents have dealt with this with no empathy at all, all they have tried to do is protect there client (who is a doctor with multiple properties). A single mum with a 2 year old has been left homeless a month before Christmas in the middle of a pandemic. I am disgusted that after after the year we have been through and that we have all tried to look after each other this is how humans have acted. Just a typical estate agent desperate for a fee and a money hungry landlord not wanting to take responsibility.
Do not trust this agent.

Having read such positive reviews about Martin and Co my daughter called in to see if they could help her to look for a suitable property to rent in Heathfield area having been registered with all agents in Heathfield for 2 months and not had any contact from any of them. She received a very warm welcome from the team and they were extremely positive with her and for the first time in two months she feels confident that they will be pro-active on her behalf. Well done Martin & co you certainly have the 'human' touch which appears to be somewhat lacking in this period of high demand for rental properties.

I never thought I'd say this about a letting agent, but Graeme Pope of Martin & co Letting Agents, Uckfield is efficient, friendly and helpful. He helped us to secure our perfect rental accommodation at a price we could afford, with the minimum of fuss. He's popped-in to drop off paper work or to discuss matters that the has landlord brought up, and has been proactive at coming up with solutions to minor issues that have arisen. As I have told him every time I've met him - he's too nice to be a letting agent! Highly recommended.

Absolutely the worst Person in business I have ever dealt with.
Graham Pope. This man owes us just under £400. He knows that we have 2 children and a baby on the way and cannot afford to just 'give away' that kind of money for nothing. Yes NOTHING!! He lied to us about how much the rent would be. When he confessed it would be more than he said (hiding behind his poor colleague) we then said we cant rent this property as we cant afford the new price he has conjured up, and he refused to give us our deposit and references back, being incredibly rude and unprofessional down the phone to my husband.
This was after he lied about the previous property we wanted and signed up to, having had 'no chain' then it amazingly fell through as the person they were buying from pulled out and we were 2 weeks away from being homeless! His colleague agreed with US that he was being awful and told us she was utterly embarrassed with his behaviour.
We will not stop until we have our very hard earned money back, while he is sauntering around in his new suits and with his Waitrose shopping. Absolute crook! We will be Tweeting, Facebooking, and going to local newspapers. Everything it takes until we get ALL of OUR money back. THIEF!!! The word 'angry' doesn't cut it!!

Very friendly and helpful staff especially the Manager Graham Pope. Made first time letting experience very simple and stress free. Managed letting contract that we were offered gave me complete piece of mind that my property was in safe hands as well as offering reassurance to my tenants.
Martin & Co also sold my property for me, again they made it completely stress free.
What makes the staff at Martin & Co Uckfield is their friendly nature and ability to understand each individuals personal circumstance.
Would highly recommend them as letting agents and estate agents!!!!
