I've always been very happy with the treatment I've received here. Indeed Mr Cramp was recommended to me by a friend of mine. The service has been thorough, polite and professional. I have no hesitation in recommending this surgery.... Read more

I completely disagree with this review. As a patient of MR Cramps in Hyde gardens Eastbourne I regularly attend appointments throughout the year and no the practice well. I am a patient of Mr Cramps but have also on occasion seen both of his associates. I no Mr Cramp his associates and the rest of the dental team to be very polite, considerate and helpful. Mr Cramp runs a very tight operation and provides good emergency care to those of his patients who are in pain. This review clearly states that this patient was attending the practice as a new patient with a problem; Mr Cramp is under no obligation to this patient until he has had his first initial check-up and signed any relevant forms and the fact that he was late for whatever reason doesn’t excuse the fact that he was late. I know the practice to be very busy and have myself had to wait up to an hour for my appointment because I no Mr Cramp takes his time with his patients to make them feel valued and comfortable. I also know the 26th of August 2010 to have been a Thursday Mr Cramp does not Work in the practice on that day of the week so this patient must have been waiting to see One of his associates, and although this associate may not have been as busy as Mr Cramp they still have a very tight appointment book and still provide good emergency care to all the practice patients. The use of Mr Cramps name in this review is not only un justified because this patient was not attending an appointment to see him but I also believe this review to be slanderous and should be removed from this site. I will be informing Mr Cramp and his associates of the content!.p and his associates of the content!.... Read more

Breach of Trust - Abusive Professional Conduct: Requiring emergency NHS dental treatment on 9 August attended emergency dental practice and booked first available appointment with Cramp Eastbourne for 09:45 on 24 August. Informed on 9 August by Cramp that would have to complete paperwork on 24 August to become NHS client. Arrived 5 minutes late because of difficulty locating basement practice poorly identifiable and informed by receptionist 10 minutes late with appointment cancelled. Honestly affirmed but 5 minutes late and exactly why but no consideration, appreciation or respect provided. Instead mere reiteration of falsely having arrived 10 minutes late. When asked what time it was that same receptionist looked at her watch and confirmed "not to place reliance upon it". Without wall clock in reception her comment was accurate. The receptionist's wrist watch affirmed the same time as my mobile phone that I had placed reliance upon. On 9 August I was not asked to attend early to complete the necessary forms or informed of the Cramp zero tolerance policy to providing consideration, respect and honesty. I was minutes late for fully justifiable reason. I walked through the practice front door a few minutes late but was intentionally and falsely informed 10. The purpose of that was to impose cancellation that under good practice should not have taken place. The practice had 1 client waiting in reception when I arrived. That client was treated and left before I did. No other clients arrived and none were present when I left at 10:10am. The dental practitioner in attendance was sufficiently unoccupied to exit his surgery to attend reception upon his name and qualification status being requested by me. He could do that but not place discretionary judgment upon rescinding cancellation at any time. Cramp offered emergency appointment for 26 August of 10 minutes duration. I had emergency on 9 August. Had I waited 48 hours then I would have been hospitalized. Cramp’s offer was inappropriate because for dire emergency too late. Had Cramp offered fit emergency service it would have provided appointment slot it continuously leaves vacate for dire emergencies on a daily basis. Being of 10 minutes duration places its viability questionable to the levels of emergency treatments it offers. Cramp provided appointment for 9 September of 20 minutes duration for initial assessment but whilst present in reception filled appointment slot for 27 August. Cramp affirmed itself terribly busy and only providing 10 minute or 20 minute appointment slots. The evidence is that on 24 August it was not and that it had availability of appointment times in far excess of its offerings to any registering NHS clients, irrespective of their needs. The basis of Cramp's cancellation of appointment was prejudicial and abusive because of providing false basis for acting so. There was no excuse for lying in respect of arrival time or any need. The privilege of any practice is to accept or decline NHS clients and not act abusive. Lying is abusive professional conduct. It is unreasonable, unfair and unfit. Where a practice demonstrates this at its front desk and the dental practitioner in attendance endorses this conduct there has to be serious concern as to how it conducts itself towards clients at all other levels. For a practice not busy Cramp certainly holds conveyer belt mentality towards NHS clients and sadly proven prejudice to registering NHS client. To register with any practice for private or NHS treatment is to commence a relationship of health care based upon trust. Trust of competence, professionalism and integrity. The moment this trust is breached no basis for client confidence can exist. Cramp breached this trust at first instance of in person contact, doing so devoid of all consideration, respect and honesty. Cramp Eastbourne is dental practice overtly willing to demonstrate failure of code of conduct and professional ethics. This is disgusting. This practice can only be recommended for self examination and correction, nothing more.... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
