Excellent service from Jo, Fredy and Nick. Jo in particular went out of her way to progress our sale which was complicated by matters completely outwith her control, but her communication skills proved invaluable in bringing matters to a close and speedy exchange. I have no hesitation in recommending McFarlane to anyone wishing to sell a property.

They didn't put a for sale sign up which I thought odd but didn't really bother me. Communications generally good. They overvalued the house and I had to reduce but I think this is not unusual estate agent behaviour.

Our sale was prolonged and anything but straightforward through no fault of McFarlanes. If it had not been for the excellent communication skills of both Jo Costin & Paul we may well have withdrawn from the sale. Nothing was too much trouble, Jo updated us on a regular basis, the advice received from both was excellent, cannot recommend them highly enough, thank you.

I've recently sold a property through McFarlane which has proved a difficult and prolonged sale mainly due to the slow and lack of responses from my solicitor. It actually took 6 months from offer to completion and only exchanging contracts on the last day before my buyers mortgage offer expired.
If it hadn't been for Jo's unfailing efforts in liaising and acting as an intermediary, this sale would have surely fallen through.
